My 4 year old asks to go to Play Matters at least once a week if not more. He loves playing in the different themes each time. Today we attended their Spiderman event! Unlike most meet & greets we have been to Spiderman interacted with each kid, posed for photo after photo, demonstrated his jumps and poses on the climbing playground, lead a chase and helped the kids with a craft and snack time. My 13 month old loves this place! I try to keep him pretty active, so we've tried just about every place in the city that's targeted towards kids his age, and this is hands-down his favorite. Every single room has a theme, and books that correspond with the theme (the engine and car room is my son's favorite). The owners are prior military and made me feel very welcome at their establishment. Our second time visiting, the wife immediately exclaimed "welcome back" when we entered through the doors, and it's such a good feeling when you feel seen by others. We could stay there for hours, and we literally do. If you have young kids that fall in the 0-5 age range, they will love it here! read more

10/10 would recommend this place. Huge selection of Montessori toys for all age little ones! The climbing structure is definitely my son's favorite, he is exhausted after just a few hours of play! The facility is kept incredibly neat and clean! I was worried about how so many people would fit in such a small space, but the design and layout accommodates all the children perfectly! Highly, highly recommend PlayMatters! We try to go weekly, if not a couple times a week when we can. My son absolutely loves all of the individual spaces so creatively curated here! And the owner is fantastic. Isa is so kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I brought my little one in last week and this week. It's a super cute place and concept. The only complaints I have is it's extremely warm inside and the price is steep esp if you have more than 1 child. My little one only lasts 30-45 min with how hot it is in there. I can't justify spending $15 for that small amount of time. I understand the price is for all day but I can't come back as I have another child to pick up and tend to. Owner flags and removes negative reviews on Google. Went as far as disabling her reviews on Facebook and shares specific posts her business is tagged in to look better before her grand opening. Yet she has been open since the beginning of August. She talks badly about the parents that bring their kids in. she did it both times I was there. it was not a welcoming experience after she shared her displeasure of having a mom meet up group come in even after I said I was with the group. I felt extremely uncomfortable the whole time since I was made aware that the owner was pretty angry at the group I was with. The group made reservations, so it's not like we just walked in and took over the place. I watched her shaking her head and taking pictures of the camera screens. let alone the whole place was hot and there were safety concerns. When there was a review made about some concerns, she proceeded to make an Instagram live about it. My kid loved the place but as a parent, if I don't feel welcomed, my child isn't either. we won't be back. I hope more people read this since the owner is quite literally doing everything she can to not have negative experiences posted about her unofficially opened (but actually open) business. read more
