It's funny how your world opens up a bit more when you have kids. Despite living in Baltimore for many years, I had never been or even really known what this is. Well for those that don't know, it is a dope three level museum for kids that had rooms upon rooms and activities galore. Anything that you can think of is here, a grocery store, car, train set, boat, water area, crafts...and more. My son and I were there for over three hours and did not even get through to everything. If you can, purchase your tickets prior to going, and look for "community days," my son and I were both able to go for less than the price of one regular ticket. There is a parking lot nearby and supposedly you can get discounted parking, but unfortunately that was not my experience. My kid had a ball and wants to go back- maybe next time we will be able to experience more. read more

I cannot believe I've never been to Port Discovery before! We were invited by a friend who has a membership with guest passes and had the best time! Parking was super easy as there is a public garage just a 2 minute walk from the main entrance. It was easy to know where to go because of the crowd walking towards the museum. We just followed everyone and getting in was easy. They give you a wrist band to wear. (I do think they might want to consider having parents write their phone number on their child's wrist band just because the museum is so large!) If you have belongings, there are lockers to place your stuff in. It is located in their cafe which has tables, loads vending machines and microwaves as well. There is hand sanitizer stations scattered around. If you have small children, there is an in closed area for babies. The exhibitions, activities and engagement opportunities are endless. My child had such a good time. We barely scratched the surface and will need to go back to see more! read more

The activities seem good. Here's the beef: we tried to enter using an AARP coupon and were told by front desk that they are not honoring any entertainment coupons. They further informed us that "this happens all the time". I'm not sure if this is some coordinated bait and switch or if the front and back offices don't talk to eachother? but buyer beware. I cannot believe I've never written a review for this place. Every year I get an annual pass at a new place and 2023 we had passes here. I cannot say enough great things about this place. The locations is always clean and well maintained. There are 3 total floors with activities ranging from water play, to puzzles, to physical activities. My kids favorite attraction is of course the but slide. We do this no less than 5 times every time we visit. There are rotating attractions in addition to their standard ones (grocery store, gas station, a restaurant, water play, and more) and annual holiday themed activities. Our favorite by far was the Halloween parade and dance party. Each visit would include several interactive activities as well, giving you a variety of things to do, which is helpful if your kids get tired of routines. We easily spent 2 1/2hrs here on any given visit and I've never had a bad experience. A membership pays for itself in 2 visits and my kids always enjoy their time here. I decided to get passes to the science museum this year because I thought my kids may have aged out (7&8) but they still talk about how much they loved Port Discovery. Like any place that caters to children you have the expectation of unruly kids and germs. Be kind to the workers, bring your patience and some antibacterial wipes and you'll be fine. This place is really cool. It's great for kids ages four through seven. I did go with my sisters to take my nephews who were admittedly a little too young to fully enjoy it. They do have a toddler room and a water room. Unfortunately, the water room was out of commission. And the toddler room is fun, but it definitely needs some TLC. Each room and each level have different activities for children to enjoy and central climbing area! there's fun activities and sometimes even guided activities. The kids can participate in. I would say my two major complaints is it's just crowded. It's in a city and it's just crowded. there's not much they can do about that. It's heavy traffic and that's something you should be prepared for when going for a visit. I wish they would have different section that would work too kind of contain the mess and sanitize during playtime. The great thing about different area. Is it fostered the kids creativity but sometimes that includes fostering with germs. Some kids play styles can be very chaotic so things often get misplaced or unorganized and the responsibility falls onto the parents to contain the mass while watching their kids. I wish each location had a team member who was in charge of containing the mess as much as possible, and also armed with sanitizing equipment so when they see toys going in and out of toddlers mouse, there's a better system to ensure we're minimizing germs as much as possible! Staff members could also lead creative play. For example if a staff member was working in the fake diner, they could pretend like they were server who also encourage kids to use the stove and put food back where it goes before they're done! We had a great time at the Port Discovery Children's Museum. The facilities were clean and the staff were very friendly. They had fun things for all ages- and my kids really enjoyed the Egypt section. Was a little pricey in my opinion but would come back if we had friends or family in the area. read more

Pretty cool space though I've only been there for an adult event. I have never seen children using or playing with any of the things. But, I can imagine they really enjoy it. Everything is padded, to start. Falling here is easy. Plus there's just a lot of stuff to do, a lot of activities. I found out the hard way the only way down the big slide is to climb all the way up there. I don't recommend adults do this, lol, that climb was pretty claustrophobic. Overall, good visit. Absolutely love this museum! My littles love coming here and so do I. They have staple exhibits ie interactive grocery store, gas station, etc where the kids can pretend do grocery shop, drive and get gas, and then they have rotating exhibits that they change in and out seasonally I'm assuming. They have interactive rooms where kids can draw pictures, pretend they are on stage, and have a quiet room as well. There are three or four levels to this museum. I've been here twice and each time I wasn't able to go through the entire museum. They do have a "snack bar" area where you can purchase heavy snacks via vending machine, they have microwaves to warm up food. I see you can host parties here and they also have an "entertainment/interactive component" where the museum staff may host a session so kids can get more information on specific exhibits, or have a scavenger hunt, etc. long story short, great educational adventures. I'm just not convinced the value is there. Over $95 for a family of 4 to come plus downtown parking, and despite the large exterior of the building, the musuem itself is rather small in number of exhibits. In reality, I think it's a stretch to call it a museum, it is much more of a "play center" with mild facts sprinkled in that no children pay pay attention. The cargo ship is probably the only thing where everyone cab learn - from how the engine room works, to how the cargo is loaded, to the port security - it is all hands on fun. However, the rest of Port Discovery was trite and not well suited to the large crowds they admit - a "diner" (basically a large plastic Fisher Price kitchen), a library with some themed books, a agricultural area, and an Egyptian adventure that was difficult for even the adults in our party to understand the procedures. The main feature is truly just a giant slide accessible only be climbing an enclosed cargo net. Wait times can get rather long, but it was fun. Overall, I think Port Discovery would benefit by having timed entry tickets on their peak days and hours. Beyond that, I don't think I'd go back with the prices the way they are; it didn't provide enough value for me and my family. read more

Overall my kids and I enjoyed our visit to the Port Discovery Children's Museum. What we liked: *The Ancient Egyptian exhibit was incredible. It incorporated history, kinesthetic learning, hands-on activities, art and problem solving. We spent more time here than almost anywhere else in the museum. *The huge twisty slide *The old timey diner *The water room *The farm exhibit *Something to do indoors during the summer So, why only three stars? Mainly the cost. For three of us, the cost was around $75. Coupled with the additional parking cost, we spent over a hundred dollars. For parents, there isn't much to do. So why do kid and adult tickets cost the same? Why not charge kids full price while the adult ticket is slightly cheaper? Or what about validated parking? Overall my kids enjoyed their visit to Port Discovery. Unfortunately the cost will keep it from being a place that we regularly visit. read more

Best kids place ever.... Been going there for more than 10 years and it's always a hit!!

I've been coming to Port Discovery for over 20 years and it is a place that holds many cherished memories. Most recently I brought my young cousins, 6 and 8, and was disappointed in the way the museum has been upkept. Many of the exhibits have broken or missing pieces or just look rundown. The museum has been around since 1998 and it LOOKS it. Nothing has been made over or refurbished. I was also DEVASTATED to learn that Miss Perception's Mystery House is GONE. This is seriously one of my favorite childhood memories and I was heartbroken not to be able to share it with my cousins. I'm fairly certain it was still there 2-3 years ago when I brought my nephew (although you couldn't go down the drain anymore). This was seriously one of the best (albeit bizarre) exhibits and it's disappeared just like the daughter who used the vanishing cream on her zit (IYKYK). PETITION TO BRING BACK MISS PERCEPTION'S IN ALL ITS GLORY!!! Additionally, I think more care and consideration needs to be put into cleaning the museum and well as employee supervision of the different areas. It does seem that parents are mainly responsible for guiding their children through the "museum" when there could be a lot of value in an employee or 2 monitoring each area to ensure patron safety and the cleanliness of the area. It looks like a bomb went off everywhere and although there are a few hand sanitizer stations, there's not enough being done to mitigate germs. I got a nasty cold the day after coming here and a week later I'm still sick. Periodically shutting certain areas down for 15 minutes throughout the day to sanitize and tidy up would do wonders. We were there for 4 hours and the only employees I saw were at the ticket counter. read more

We took a day off work and came up as a family to baltimore. Drove two hours in car for kid to have an epic, family fille day! We registed way in advance and planned out to have it on a community day to maximize cost savings since we had to plan gas, snacks and resturants in that area. The parking was more than the tickets...And it seemed like 2/3 of the items were not for the kid's age group we brought or it was under construction (all of the top level and other attractions). Was a huge disappointment since we travled for it and never got an email saying the exhibits would be closed or that they would require an age level or height level to participate. The favorite activity was the ropes suspended "bridge". But the kids that were there pushed and kicked our kid off the suspended seat/circle and didn't let her participate, event though she waited her turn. There is not supervision it seems from staff and a lot of parents seem to be local /residents that were meeting other parents like at a park and didn't care what their kds were doing. This part was cool, that it was local, but not cool for out of towners that were expecting all parents be at the same level of supervision. Overall we had a terrible experience and I do not think we would go back to baltimore for this experience. After paying $65+ for my wife, five-year-old daughter, and I to visit Port Discovery, I was skeptical. After several hours wandering the space, I'm a convert. The building is tight hence why they build up. The first hour, my daughter and I climbed the giant rope course to the very large slide. It was a blast for both of us! Afterwards, we found the craft room and did a few paintings. Then we visited the kid-sized grocery store, diner, maze, ship, and so many exhibits. There are ample restrooms and kids my daughter's age could easily stay for hours. However, our friends that went with us didn't love it for their two-year-old. They were overwhelmed by the small space and crowds. If you go, keep your receipt. Kids eat free at nearby Phillips Seafood. Also, avoid the expensive parking garage and park on the street if you can. read more

What a lovely museum! There is a parking garage right beside the museum (Harbor Park Garage), which is incredibly convenient. Employees are welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. Tychell was so kind and made sure we were all set to have a good time. We absolutely love the bright colors, different play areas, and the creativity that went into building this museum. The kids (and adults) had an amazing time! So much to see and do in here. We all learned so much! You are allowed to exit and re-enter on the day of your visit by showing your wristband. Just keep your wristband on if you plan to re-enter. You may bring food and drinks into the museum, but it is not permitted inside the museum exhibits. There is a designated eating area at Port Discovery, where you may eat your lunch or snacks. Vending machines are available for snacks and beverages. There is no café or restaurant inside but there are many family-friendly restaurants around the museum. Several nearby restaurants offer special discounts to Port Discovery guests and members. Came here with my bestie and niece. I love the fact they have different areas to rest. They also have sensory/quiet rooms. There was plenty of sanitizer stations. There is an area to eat for lunch/snacks. We came on a day when it was a field trip for a school. But surprisingly it wasn't over crowded. I parked in the garage that's adjacent to the Power Plant. THIS place is amazing. My children thoroughly enjoyed every single part of it except of course check in. Lol I even went down the big slide. I cried. I wish I could add an emoji so you can understand that I thought it was all over for me. Lol the only reason I went down the slide is because climbing back down those ropes was not an option for my toes. So adults be warned. Lol Each floor was filled with surprises. Each room was filled with entertainment. We ended up buying the family annual pass. How could you NOT buy the family pass? 1 thing I would say that was deceiving was the "Kids eat free at Phillips Seafood when you purchase port discovery tickets." That is a complete lie. Only 1 child per port discovery receipt was able to eat for free. ...and the food at Phillips was awful. When I say terrible...I mean terrible. The service was not bad, but the food was awful. So...why partner with them if you're 1. Going to lie about the kids eat free and 2. The food is despicable. All in all Port Discovery was theeee best. First time coming here for the little one. It was in inner harbor. Parking was right next to the museum which was super convenient since I always hate looking for parking in Baltimore. The museum does parking validation, so definitely do that so you don't have to pay too much on parking. The place has 3 floors and each floor has all sort of things for little ones. My LO loves the water area and the train/construction area. We spent 3 hours in there. Some of the stations are out of order which was sad but hopefully they will come back in service soon. If I were a kid THIS is where I would want to come! My niece is in town with my 'grand-niece'. To give them something to do we came to check things out and I must say....... I'M IMPRESSED! First of all..... there's a ship in here! Well, not a real ship, but it looks close enough. It's got a horn, the steering wheel and all that. Then, there is a climbing net the kids can enter on the ground floor to climb ALL the way to the top floor! AWESOME! They can also enter at the second or third level. Once at the top they can ride a slide all the way down. Tell me that's not the coolest thing ever. For an indoor spot, that's COOL! A lot of the things were for older kids as my niece was only 14 months, but there are things for all ages. Texture walls, a 'water room', soft blocks they can put together to build a fort...... a whole lot of thought was put into this place! As the day went on more kids arrived, but I never felt like it was 'packed'. There's a grocery store, a car you can put gas in and fill up the tires, a diner where kids can pretend to cook, an ancient tomb with things to decrypt, and much more. You could stay here for hours. I think I tapped out before the baby did. It's a lot! But it's a fun spot. Parking is convenient in the garage next door and they will validate your ticket. Overall: Great place and about an hr in we decent to become members. Covid protocols : Masked staff and kids required and corrections made Lots of hand sanitizer stations. A+ and the reason we signed up as members on that visit. Additionally they close down and clean during the 2 visit times. Parking: Lot right next to the front. They validate it for $15 flat fee. Lockers: Free available to drop your stuff and stroller storage too. Value: so much to do for kids mostly grade age. There is stuff for littles under 2 as well and a 3 floor slide you have to climb a rope..tower to get to sand shoes. Not to parents if you need to help your little one, its a beast on your knees and feet. 3 hrs per visit is not enough so we came 2x in a week and could come back again to get through everything. Fun slightly chaotic play based learning center my 10 year olds had a blast on the slide and doing things with blocks. We participated in an organized design competition that didn't seem very thought out more like a photo op for the museum than an educational experience for the tweens. The place has a good, warm vibe with lots of fun nooks and crannies. The bookstore tucked in the front is excellent - my child found a signed copy of Dork Diaries! Cafe was self serve with fair pricing but wasn't well stocked (maybe since it was a holiday weekend). Overall a fun way to burn off kid energy for an afternoon. read more

Came by yesterday morning; we ended up parking at the wrong garage (out of habit since we visit the aquarium often) so be sure you arrive to the correct garage if you want them to validate your parking. We walked all around and once we found the entrance we were greeted by great employees who offered us a map and after checking in we were off to start o it adventure! We each had a wrist band (not sure why this is mandatory or what it's for; I thought it was to make sure you left with the correct kid but nobody checked them after we put them on). There are free lockers for your stuff in on the right, all bathrooms have smaller sinks for the littles and double toilet seats for little kids (which we love). We started with a climb up the structure (be sure to bring socks/they also sell them for a nominal fee) however, our daughter didn't want to go further than the second floor so she came back down. We met another amazing employee (actually they were all incredible) who told us the port dropped off blocks, showed us how to use teamwork to get the engine to start, we put blocks on the conveyor belt and tried to catch them at the top. The employee also gave us a great tip to swing by the water room at the end (genius since we got pretty wet lol), we spent quite a bit of time in Tiny's diner (our server decided not to take our order and instead made what she wanted ) we swung by the puppets and "milked a cow" before heading to the Egyptian tombs; we made a detour and never explored the rest. When we first got there it was almost entirely empty but closer to 1100 there were groups of kids on field trips so we decided to swing by the climbing structure for a few more climbs where our daughter was braver and went all the way to the top (but opted not to take the really big slide). All the employees we interacted with went above and beyond to make our visit really good! If it weren't for the employees this would be more 2.5 maybe 3 stars; the kids museum in DC is closer (a bit more expensive) but offers a lot more. read more

While anxiously awaiting the opening of the new National Children's Museum, I decided to see what the competition up the BW entailed. Located near the Inner Harbor, Port Discovery is about a 45-60 minute drive from DC. I didn't want to circle around looking for parking so I chose the closest garage.....and paid $25. Parking was more than our admission (my son was free), which was $17.95. This allows for in-out access all day. There is no cafeteria here but several restaurants within walking distance. There is a place to eat (tables,high chairs) so feel free to bring your own lunch as we did. Other logistical matters....there are changing tables in every restroom, stroller parking is available on the first floor, there's a nursing station in the Tot Trails area, and you can check the website for the daily calendar of special activities or events. Port Discovery is three floors. On the first floor the main features are Chessie's Grotto and the sky climber. Chessie's Grotto is designed for ages 3 and under and has a cute slide my son loved. The sky climber reaches up to the third floor and looks cool but is for ages 5 and up. It includes a 3 story slide. Also on this floor is a Royal Farms sponsored play convenience store that has a car and gas pump. There's also a big soccer "field" in the back on this floor. The second floor features Tot Trails which is an awesome interactive area for the under 3 set. Lots of places to explore here! We also enjoyed circle time with instruments here. The Oasis is also located on this floor. It's a more quiet space with lots of toys and books. It's designed for age 6 and under. The Port is also on this floor. It's a replica of exactly that, a Port. On the third floor we spent some time in the water play area as well as the Diner as my son loves to play "cook". The mummy/Egyptian area (second floor) is really cool and my son loved being pulled on the raft. It was crowded on this visit but we still had a great time and stayed for several hours. I'd definitely return to Port Discovery but I'd love to be able to visit a children's museum closer to home, which should be possible at the end of the month! read more

Visited Port Discovery this past weekend - tickets had to be bought online for either a morning slot or afternoon, which we did from 2pm - 5pm. Tickets were $20 for everyone, children under 1 only free. There's mostly garage parking in the area and there's one actually right next to the museum. The museum is pretty big and had lots of fun activities of all ages. There's a huge slide you have to climb up to get too which I think is for a little older children. We spent a good almost 3 hours in there - my son was occupied with the water activities, the blocks that go up on a lift, the gas stop, and grocery store. Masks were optional. If I could give this museum 10 stars I would. We took our grandkids and they absolutely loved it. They had so much fun being able to do and learn by being hands on. From the minute we got there they were going from one exhibit area to another. We essentially spent about 4 hours there and could have easily spent another 3 hours. The kids had a blast. The favorite station for the grandkids was the climbing course. They loved being able to climb all the way to the top and then jumping on the slide. They must have climbed at least 10x. Another area they enjoyed was the diner/restaurant area. In this area the kids were able to work at the restaurant and learn about how to work and prepare the meal they were serving. In another area they were able to put their artistic skills to the test. The museum also has area for kids of all ages-toddlers up to about 12 years old. Strongly suggest you purchase your ticket online to ensure admittance. When we purchased our tickets they had to different time frames to be able to enter and it looks like they only sell a certain amount of tickets; so to ensure entry I recommend you lock in your time slot. This was completely underwhelming. We had 4 people in our party, one being an almost 3 year old and the other three of us age 30 & 40+. That being said, this was a ripoff. If there was enough activities to make adults and children content, that's one thing. But 3 adults paying $20+ a person to just stand there is ridiculous. The only positive thing today wasn't even working. We could have used the bubble machine multiple times, but there was a lack of water and soap, so there were zero bubbles to be able to lift the hoop. The youngest was 1/4 inch too short for the slide, which is fine because it is a big slide, but none of us adults were climbing it either. The kitchen/diner was just mayhem. Kids licking all the food and unaccompanied. The art room was okay, but the project was just blah with dried out markers and scraps of felt to choose from. I think realistically, you can have kids pay full price but adults should not me more than $5 really in assuming you're paying for the bathroom and to chaperone. The entire place is in dire need of help and I don't know who is saying this place is amazing. The reviews are skewed as this place is not even for older kids. They would be bored as can be. There simply was not much to choose from nor was it entertaining. $70 was a waste. Not to mention you still have to deal with parents who do not parent and have snotty kids who don't share the few things that would have been good. There was one ball in the kicking section and an older kid was kicking it at the younger kids hard. No staff working in that section either. I can't recommend this place at all. read more

I happen to really, really love children's musems. I enjoy watching my grandkids' faces as they discover and learn new things. I also studied child development some years ago, and spent time working in education. So I especially like to see recent knowledge of how children's minds work put into practice. This place really has it right! DGS, age 10, surprised me by spending more time at physical activities (not the new climbing structure, which he pronounced "boring - not as good as the old one"). He had the best time trying to make the engine of the Friend Ship start up, then catching and tossing the foam blocks at the loading area. DGD, age 7, is much more into pretend play, so her focus was on Tiny's Diner. She took my order, "cooked" my food, served me, and gave me a plastic dollar to pay my bill. I pried her away for a snack break, but she made a beeline back to it and even convinced big brother to go with. I allowed them to go off together, because quite frankly I was too warm from chasing after them and found a place directly under an A/C vent to sit. ;) And really, they are old enough to do that - AND - the staff is very security conscious. We had wristbands with matching numbers and when it was time to go, they made sure I was allowed to take them. Pros: free room with tables to eat (bring your own food); free lockers for your extra stuff; security, which I already mentioned; lots of staff circulating; cleanliness (tough to maintain with so. many. people.) Cons: honestly, the price. It was $53 for the three of us. Only kids under 1 are free, and there are no price differences for any age group. I mean, as a senior, really? Plus, add in the cost of parking - which yes, they do validate but it seems to only give like a $10 discount, so I still paid $15. $68 for a few hours of play is really, really steep and not in our family's budget more than once a year, if that. read more

I'm going to start off by saying how huge this place is. There is a new exhibit at every turn. Our child is under 2 and she enjoyed herself here. It's great for all ages, COVID protocols are in place, easy parking and generally a good time for the family. Be prepared to spend at least 3 hours here. The only thing I'll knock them for was the parking validation. Maybe I missed something but we got the parking validated and ended up having to pay upon leaving. read more

Overpriced and underwhelming. For one adult and two children it costs $75, add an additional $15 for parking; I spent $90 total for this "museum" when it should be considered an indoor playground. If I wanted to go to an indoor playground I would've gladly payed half the price, but even that is a reach because both my children thought this place was boring. If a five year old and a two year old say it's boring, please believe them. I drove over an hour and a half just to come to this place because I believed that it looked more fun than the National Children's Museum in Washington, D.C (Which was way closer to me), but I was very wrong! The only other museum that I've taken my kids to was the Discovery Children's Museum in Las Vegas and even that was 10 times better than this place. My kids constantly tell me how they want to go back to Vegas just for that museum. Overall, I would NEVER come back to Port Discovery Children's Museum in Baltimore, Maryland, let alone pay for a membership here. It really is pathetic especially the parking situation. The first four floors are for members and those floors are basically empty during peak hours which says a lot. Also, I wanted to note to avoid emailing them. Per their confirmation email, I tried to email them to reschedule for another day and nobody responded for the entire business day, so I had to call them to ensure that it was okay. Save your money and just go to a regular park with your kids, they'll enjoy it more and probably won't know the difference. read more

My family and I had SO much fun at Port Discovery! We went on a rainy Sunday so it was a little packed. Once we entered the building, we saw a room filled with tables, chairs, vending machines, and lockers! Lockers were totally free. There was an overwhelming amount of activities to do. It definitely caters to all ages. I have a 4 year old and 1 year old and they stayed busy the entire time. We were there for 2-3 hours and probably got to do maybe half of the activities. We live in Northern Virginia and would be MORE than happy to make the our drive to this museum again. read more

The best attraction is the rope climb up to the longest circular tube slide. Basically it's 4 floors high. There is a height requirement, so if your child is too short, an adult will have to climb too. Other parts of the museum include a library, supermarket, gigantic ship, and Egyptian section. A perk, you are allowed in and out of the museum all day with your ticket purchase. As long as you have your wristband. There isn't a food court or cafeteria. Only a seating space for you to eat your own food. So we ate at the Peruvian Chicken spot on the corner. read more

We just went here for their NYE bash and it was so much fun! They are at a much lower capacity so it wasn't crowded at all. They did a confetti drop instead of a balloon drop and there were special events on all the floors. There was an animal exhibit, a snow exhibit and a tall man on stilts. There was a DJ blasting music. The music was great but it was a bit too loud. read more

We love this place so much, that don't mind driving from Alexandria, VA. This place is a paradise for kids. I have 2 boys, 9 and 3 years old, and this place is awesome for both. We had great breakfast at Miss Shirley's cafe and walked back to Port Discovery. The museum validates parking, which brings all day" rate of 28$ to 15$. That's a great price for the area! Can't wait to come back for another awesome day of fun!! read more

What a fun place! We live down in Silver Spring, so I'm still debating if a membership is a good choice for us. But we were up in Baltimore last weekend and I knew we had to check it out. Three floors and so much fun! For the kids who want to climb, they have that in the main hall - a twirly slide that has to be two stories high. So cool! The water table area was probably my kids' favorite. Because not only is there the classic museum water table, there's also an area where you can squirt a water gun at different instruments, or where you can stand in the middle of a giant bubble. In other areas there are such things as a sound studio, coloring/tracing, a train, an ancient tomb to explore. And many other areas we didn't even make it to. I can't wait for us to go back. My only complaint is that they don't have their own parking. Yes, parking is close. But I hate the idea of shelling out so much money to park (it's not included with a membership). But again, awesome place that's definitely worth visiting! read more

A majority of the the items are in need of maintenance. Broken lights, missing pegs... rockets that don't fire.. foggy magnifying glass.. The whole place is in need of an update. 20 dollars per guest is a complete rip off.. you can get better story times for free at the library. I do believe a rainy day at Chuck E. Cheese is worth a couple hundred days at port discovery. I do not recommend. I will not return. With parking this can be a 100 dollar event( multiple kids, family members etc) Port discovery is in need of a major over haul read more
