Cute spot on campus, the bowls were so delicious and they weren't too busy so they were prepared quickly. I do feel it's a bit overpriced as two bowls cost us $30, but it was good for a different kind of lunch stop and I'd love to try some of their other combos!

Not going to lie I am a little bit of a smoothie bowl snob because I got the freshest bowls while living out in Arizona and California but I was beyond shocked to have a bowl of the same caliber. I love how cute this shop is and the staff is so friendly. They're also super quick which is great on the go. I tried a few specials they had and all of the bowls were delicious. I love going here when I want something lighter and I also recommend their fresh pressed juice.

This place never misses! The service is great and the bowls and smoothies are always amazing! I was so surprised and impressed, especially with this being by campus. The bowls are always amazing, no matter the base and toppings you get. The smoothies are also pretty good and refreshing! The inside is beachy-themed and has areas to sit and eat or even study. Love this place!!

Needed a cleanse and figured that would be a perfect time to check out Playa Bowls! The only annoying thing is that it's located on Ohio State'd campus which is perfect for students, but not good for people who gave to drive there. There are meters nearby, but only if you're lucky enough to find one! It's super cute and spacious inside. Definitely feels like you're on a beach side :) I can't remember the name of the bowl I ordered, but it has pitaya (dragon fruit) in the base, which is my favorite, topped with granola, strawberries, and blueberries for $11. The bowl is absolutely delicious. The base was a thick consistency and not runny. I LOVED the blueberries. They were so crunchy I need to know where they get their blueberries from. Would come back if I'm ever by campus!

I've been here a couple times now and each time was a pleasant experience. The moment you walk through their doors it's like you walked on to a beach. They did a great job transforming this old Subway into their very own oasis. The colors pop and for me, it puts me in a great mood. Now on the good stuff! This place is known for their acai bowls but they have way more than just acai. They also have coconut, banana, and a couple other bases for you to choose from. They'll even allow you to do a half and half. My favorite is the coconut with the acai. Another thing I like about this place is the granola they incorporate. I absolutely need a texture element added to my acai bowls and this does the drink. If you're not living on campus, parking here is a drag. But that's to be expected in this area of town. Oh, and the staff is friendly and quick. If you're looking for something fresh, you can definitely get it here.

Pictured below is the 'Tide - Banana Bowl'; a tasty bowl with banana blend topped with granola, pineapple, mango, kiwi, goji berries, honey and bee pollen. Also pictured is the strawberry-banana smoothie made with coconut milk. Yummy. Playa Bowls not only has delicious bowls, smoothies and other drinks, but this place is located right in the heart of campus on High Street. Professional foodie tip... be sure to ask for anything with Açaí in it. I got to sample this delicious fruit and now have a new favorite to eat every time I come back here.

I know they are pretty new and opened recently, so I want to be fair. I assume they are still working out the kinks. Decor is fresh and beachy and fun. Lots of bright colors and tropical flair. They have a back room that has a ping pong table and TVs. Free wifi throughout. I could see it being a great campus hangout for the students. We ordered a smoothie and a fresh juice. The rest of the menu consisted of various kinds of bowls, but we were full from sushi. We waited a hot minute for those two drinks. At least 15 minutes....and we were the only customers in the store. Anyways, drinks were served in the wrong size cups from what we ordered but they did taste great. I was underwhelmed overall, but I think it will do really well in the campus location.

Playa bowls is open and it's amazing! Everything is so fresh and delicious and it looks like the beach in here... You really just have to try it. Did I mention the great location. This is a win for OSU.

What a fun refreshing place!! This place just opened in this spring. Their products are fresh and they sell products to-go from local businesses in their mini store. Previously Ordered a Pura Vida and Lola bowl. Had such a great experience, I went back and ordered Açaí Energy Smoothie. Spread the word about this place! Parking: street/meter parking Ambience: Upon entry, I enjoyed everything about this place- the top hits music, the layout, the colors, the warm/fun feel. Service: fantastic! We were greeted upon entry and guided through the menu. They also made suggestions for first timers. Bowl quality: FRUITY GOODNESS! From the fresh fruit and ingredients to the portions, the quality of their bowls are fantastic. The smoothie was appropriately thick and hit the spot! High quality! Covid precautions: mask if unvaccinated or if desire. Price: $$ ~11 bucks for a bowl/smoothie is pricey. BUT the bowls are filling with good proportions.

Best smoothie/smoothie bowl in Columbus! There is truly nothing bad on the menu and you can customize anything to your liking. My current go to is the Aloha smoothie. So excited for their new spot to open in Quarry Trails!

I just love the atmosphere of this place. They went all out with their decor, and it has a super fun beachy feel tied in with some Columbus love. It's conveniently located to the Ohio State campus, making it very easy to walk to. The menu has a great selection of smoothie bowls, smoothies, juices, and coffees. Fortunately, they have their huge menu boards located near the door, so it's easy to step to the side and take your time perusing before you approach the counter to order. I opted to order an Aloha smoothie, which included banana, mango, pineapple, and coconut milk, and was very sweet and refreshing. The staff was friendly and efficient. There are a lot of delicious sounding options on the menu, so I'm sure we'll be back for more.

I've been to Playa Bowls twice since moving to Columbus 8 months ago. It's a bit pricey for me to make it a more regular stop. This time, my sister is in town and wanted to try it out. They have a wide variety of bowls to choose from and yummy cold brew coffee. Perfect for a warm summer day breakfast. The bowl is very filling, no matter which one you order. It's a spacious place with added seating in the back, so could work for a group!

Wow I cant believe I havent tried this place before! Its the best acai in town you have to try out! I had the nutella acai bowl and it was divine! Everyone loved there orders we will definitely be back! I am so excited for them to open the next location in New Albany! Such great Acai cafe vice that Cbus needed for years!!
