This was one of the first businesses I frequented when I got to Columbus in 2019. I am happy that they survived pandemic times and seem to be thriving. They were as busy as ever on a recent visit. All the blenders were firing away making smoothies. My favorite is the Protein Packer smoothie and it is just as delicious as when I first tried it. It pains me to give this rating as I'm usually a big Pulp fan. However, based on this trip alone, I would have given them a one star, but based on history, I bumped it up to two. When I first came in, they immediately asked "what do you want" and walked away as soon as I finished talking. I didn't get an option for a receipt or anything. They were very snippy, but I was willing to excuse it because maybe they were busy with mobile orders or something. I used to work in food service so I understand! Then our drinks came out, and one was the incorrect size. I brushed this off until I got home, and we realized it was the wrong drink. The only reason I took it is because the employee handed it directly to me as she said the correct name of the drink. It also tasted very watered down, and the other smoothie we got tasted similar. We got two wraps: the turkey avocado wrap and the chicken caesar. Both were massively overloaded with their respective sauces (mayo and caesar dressing) and weren't too enjoyable. My husband and I are so glad to have stumbled upon this place. For years, I received mailed coupons but never checked it out. The menu is long and amazing! Something for everyone. I ordered a kale smoothie and my husband, a chocolate peanut butter smoothie with extra protein. You can barely tell that they are healthy! Just want to gulp them down. My smoothie was quite sweet and if they didn't add sugar, it must be the fresh fruit. We ordered kid sizes and it was more than enough. We also ordered wraps - buffalo, honey mustard chicken and an asian sesame. The first two were GREAT. Fresh, made quickly, great ingredients. The asian one lacked any real "goodness". It was just - eh. It was mostly lettuce and carrots. Overall, we plan to go often. Good prices too. read more

I absolutely love Pulp. It's summer and smoothies are one of the most refreshing things for me! Their location on Bethel just recently opened up, and everyone working there is friendly and attentive. I've tried a lot of their flavors already, and I've honestly enjoyed every single one. The prices are extremely reasonable given the sizing options and there's truly a flavor for everyone. It's a perfectly good place to buy a smoothie and a quick lunch? There was nothing wrong with anything I got, but it all tasted a little like it just came from the grocery store. The vegetables in the Asian chicken wrap were very fresh and crispy, but the chicken looked and tasted more like chicken nuggets than actual grilled chicken, and the dressing seemed to just be some kind of salad dressing. I've been an avid Pulp lover since I've lived in Cleveland and was so pumped to see a Pulp in a surrounding Columbus city. Their initial greeting was no problem but they seemed stressed. It was apparent that at least one of them was still going through training during a shift time that I would consider a rush. So we get to ordering a few things that totaled a little over 50 bucks (not including tip), and the kid at the register up and crumpled our receipt without even asking if we wanted it which was the first red flag. I wanted to try their new Pink Dragon smoothie which I was hyped for since it's made with dragonfruit, strawberry juice, mangos, yogurt, pineapple sorbet, lemon squeeze, and chia seeds. I kinda watched while they were making our drinks and saw she had put a banana in my blender with the dragonfruit, and the The Pink Dragon I received tasted entirely like a banana. Every smoothie we got was extremely watery and just honestly not good. I didn't want to ask for our drinks to be remade or for a refund, I figured I would just take the L but those were the worst smoothies I have ever gotten from a Pulp. Also the lack of any type of window directly next to the connected gym is surely a great idea for those finishing their workouts and getting a treat to go home, but the smell that ruminates from the gym and into the Pulp store is honestly foul to the point I had lost my appetite. I'd be surprised if this wasn't a health code violation of some sort. The kids who work in the mornings to around noon are truly great, no complaints, we had come in around 5-6pm when this experienced occurred. I do wish some good training would be put in place and hopefully they will not substitute a sorbet/ice or other thickening factors with a banana in the future. read more

We were in the area when we passed by Pulp and thought that a smoothie sounded good. We opted for the three berry smoothie (strawberry, blueberry, raspberry). Even the kids size is a generous portion - it's helpful that they have the three different sized cups lined up in front of the register to check out when ordering. The staff was efficient - they were already making our smoothies before the receipt was even done printing. They offer quite the variety of smoothies, as well as bowls and wraps that sound good that we'd be interested in trying in the future. A few tables are available inside of the shop, and there is a window to the gym next door. There is plentiful parking available in the shopping center lot. read more

We did go in about 20 minutes til close, we asked if they were okay taking us which is no problem. It is pretty close to close. The issue here is that when asked there was a 16 year old kid that rudely laughed and said no. Should probably train your staff to let customers down better. It truly was no problem, we went in with the expectation of them saying no. It's just how the kid said no. Didn't get his name because he has his shirt off, leaning on the counter not doing anything. I am constantly surprised by this place time & time again when I visit! We keep saying we need to come more often. You normally don't have high hopes for a small smoothie joint with a limited amount of sandwiches, ect but everything we've gotten has been great every single time. The tuna wrap shocked us. Tasted really fresh and all the vegetables were crisp. We didn't think we needed the Asian dressing it came with on the side because the wrap was so good on its own...until we tasted it. We just had Pulp for the first time on Saturday. I highly recommend. This location is connected to a gym on one side and has an open window type concept so you can get your smoothie while you sweat it out on the treadmill! I thought Pulp was the best smoothie place around. It was so much better than others and it was a lot cheaper. This is a pretty good smoothie and juice bar. It is located next to a gym, and there is a window so you can order while in there. Would be going there more often if they would not close early. I had the blueberry smoothie. It's about $5 which is much better than others. The consistency was nice and it was cool and refreshing. It has many others to choose from. They include a free enhancer with each smoothie. It makes it even more of a value. This is a better value than something like Smoothie King. It also has some pretty good wraps. The vegetable wrap is a good price at about $6. It is conveniently located next to a gym so it's a nice way to load up. They even have a window so you won't have to leave to get something there when you are working out. I like smoothies and Pulp is good and more affordable than other smoothie places. It has sandwiches and wraps which are a nice compliment. Would come back here to try another smoothie. read more

I'm sort of a regular at this Pulp. Only about every other week, sometimes more. Most all the time the smoothies are great. However the service is hit or miss. A few weeks ago I had ordered online: I arrived to pick up my smoothie and there were four other people standing and waiting. No one was ordering at the counter. We were all waiting and the staff were bustling putting together orders. I was not acknowledged to be there until I had stood there a good five minutes. At which time the young man asked my name and gee there was my smoothie that had been sitting on the counter the entire time. It would be nice for the employees to acknowledge each customer's presence. The next time I went the service was the normal decent. Today though. There was only myself at the counter to order. There were two employees putting orders together and an employee doing dishes. I was glanced at and ignored. The lady doing dishes spoke something to the young man....he looked at me and said "oh!" Then the girl meandered to the register to take my order. This was at 1:30 on November 10 and I think I'll check out Hilliard Nutrition on Cemetery Rd and see how they are. Just like everything else now, they started charging more and giving way smaller portions. I used to be able to get 2 meals from their chicken wraps it's kind of funny how much smaller they are now. Pay more than before but get less food. You can literally make the smoothies yourself for a few bucks instead of spending $10 on one. Also I feel they break up their smoothies I to categories just so they can charge more by calling it a 'premium blend' just because they threw in some chia seeds. Stopped in for the first time the other day and will definitely go back. The service was really good and everyone was friendly. They seem to be pretty organized and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. The food actually came out before our smoothies. Smoothies - I liked the options and fresh ingredients. I didn't try the strawberry banana because it had pineapple juice in it which was weird to me. The Elite Eight was surprisingly good the Cranberry Fix was not too tart. I think I will try one of the juices next time! The food - We tried three different wraps. Nothing to brag about, good for a small lunch. We got four wraps and three smoothies for just over $40. A couple of the tortillas seemed a little dry, but the food was still pretty good. The spicy turkey had a kick to it which is good because I don't like when menu items say spicy and have no heat at all. The club was pretty much what you would expect. The PB&G was a hit with the kids. A little messy, but good flavor combo and the granola gives it a little crunch. I don't like cinnamon and it tasted like there was some in it, possibly in the granola?? Everyone else loved it. My five year old ate a whole wrap and I was still a little hungry after finishing mine. So I would say it's a place for a light meal or quick stop on the go, just done expect to sit down and be stuffed when you leave unless you have a small appetite. Which brings me to my next point. There isn't a lot of seating. We had two adults and three kids. They had a bar height table with three seats that isn't good for little kids and they had two small tables with two seats each. There is an extra chair that you can pull up so we had just enough seating. There is a sofa and chair in the corner as well. Like I said, this isn't somewhere you'd bring your family for a sit down meal so the seating is on line with this type of place. I didn't notice if there was a drive thru. Overall...great people, a little high on price for me based on the amount of food you get, pretty quick service, very clean and bright inside, good smoothies, and a decent amount of menu options. read more

I really like Pulp. I've had a few isolated occasions where the service or the food purchased wasn't the best. But it's only been 1-2 times out of several that I've been here. Are the employees overly chipper? No. Is there someone new there almost every time? Yes. But 98% of the time, they deliver exactly what you order and it's delicious. I vary with what I get. Sometimes I'll just get a smoothie (Peach Beach is my favorite) or I'll get the pb&g wrap/bowl. They have lots of smoothies to pick from, along with extra adds like energy or hangover relief (lol). Salads, wraps and bowls as well. I find coupons in the mail a lot for them which helps. I do wish they had a loyalty program for customers! I would have at least 2 freebies already! read more

I used to take classes at the gym next door and noticed they have a window that allows gym goers to order from inside the gym; what a great idea! Let me just say that I need to visit again to try something else, maybe I just picked wrong on the menu. I got a bowl that had yogurt, banana and peanut butter. I usually love this combo and was so excited to try it, but there was so much peanut butter it made me feel sick. I am a peanut butter lover but it was just too much smeared on top of the other stuff in the bowl. Prices here are better than some of the other local smoothie bars but I don't think they use any organic ingredients either if that's a must for you! For example I always get a $10 juice and it fills the large 32 ounce cup ~ today it was missing kale and when the young lady poured the juice into the 32 ounce cup she put ice in first, so there was a TON of perfectly good juice wasted that I paid for. Also, marking the drinks helps when you purchase more than one to identify whose is whose when you get home or to work. I really wanted to like this place. It's a smoothie bar/lunch spot connected to a gym, so I was hoping for light but filling and flavorful fare, made with fresh, healthy ingredients. We ordered the dragonfruit blended bowl, the peanut butter granola bowl, the açaí blended bowl, a smoothie and two design-your-own juices. The blended bowls were giant, but not flavorful at all. Just underwhelming and bland. I make these at home and the flavor is always intense. The peanut butter granola bowl was a hot mess. It was a pile of big chunks of granola, with a giant scoop of peanut butter on top. Like at least a half-cup, probably more. We ended up taking it to go, and it was so clumpy that it was hard to remove it from the container. The smoothie was met with mixed reviews, and one juice (kale, apple, cucumber) was really tasty. Unfortunately, juice No. 2 was not to be. The carrot-beet-ginger combo (my go-to at another local juice shop) broke the smoothie machine. The staff were super nice and apologetic, but it clearly wasn't the highlight of the visit. I would have been fine if that's all we encountered, but the whole visit was tainted by a peek on the counter. Skippy peanut butter (not even the "natural" kind). Dannon yogurt. A big tub of sherbet, which went into the smoothies. Everything felt decidedly less healthy, to the point where I was wondering if there was HFCS in my dragonfruit bowl. The prices originally seemed pretty reasonable: $6-10 for a fresh juice is on-par with other shops around here. I used to go everyday after my workout at crunch and for some reason EVERY time I go, I get ignored by every single teenage girl who works there, they skip over me and take everyone else's orders and then they "forget" about my order or just take 15-20 minutes making it. They sit in the back on their phones and act like they don't see me it's ridiculous. And I ALWAYS tipped before they made it too but they don't deserve my tip or my money. VERY upset with todays lunch visit. A girl, who I believe the girls called her Kailie or Kylie, was talking about VERY inappropriate things. I brought my 6 year old daughter from daycare with me for lunch, we ordered and went to the side to wait for our smoothies. This girl was very rude when I asked questions, and was more focused on talking to her friends about a "hot boy" at the gym next door. She proceeds to yell across the restaurant about this boy making a scene, also ignoring my questions I had about the smoothie. After I finally order, I hear from this same girl: "I could not go a week without pen!s" (not sure if it would sensor that word. I hope the owner gets to see this) after she said this her coworkers yelled "Kailie or Kylie as I stated earlier, "there is customers in here.." which she was very well aware of since she took my order.
