This place is my go-to for a healthy snack. The menu is extensive with so many delicious options. Everything here is fresh, nutritious, and full of flavor. My favorite bowls are Pure Vida, Coco Berry, Dragonberry. I also like their smoothies, fruit juices, and oatmeal bowls. The portion sizes are good and reasonably filling. The service is fast and the location is convenient next to the #1 train station.

Great açaí, a little pricey but I thought it was still good! A reasonable amount of Nutella

    Melted açaí bowls. Very sad.

We had the worst experience. After spending all day moving we went on a hot day to pick up three bowls for dinner. Inside the AC was broken so it was sweltering. We order, then get the food and walk just three blocks home. All of the bowls were melted and were messy soup. Ok that's bad, but we couldn't even enjoy that because it still tasted terrible. Almost like a bad margarita mix it was super sweet and artificial. None of us could finish our meals so this was $50+ literally down the drain. Will never go back.

Playa's finally moving further uptown! Im on a personal mission to visit all the Playa locations in NYC so I was so happy that this one popped up. I love how much seating they have in here. It's pretty spacious! Got the tropical bowl with no pineapples and added peanut butter! Delicious as I expected.

So many fresh and delicious options! Staff is friendly, and everything is made to order. Very generous portions, and vibes transport you from NYCs grey skies to sunny LA beaches.

I love Playa Bowls; the staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and the store is consistently clean. Last time I went, I brought my dog and they gave her a pup cup which is their banana base with peanut butter on top!

A refreshing Acai or really any bowl spot! Got the Pink Power delivered and the bowl was still fresh and chilled. Wanted to try something different with the Pink Power Pitaya bowl! The base had just the right amount of acidity and sweetness (less berry like than açaí). The granola added a great crunch. Overall, I would order from here again!

    The work area looks awful.

Service needs improvement. The product is good but loses appeal when you're forced to deal with poor customer service and you actually watch your order being prepared in an unclean area.

Realistically I just love an açaí bowl. DEF better than Loco Coco. I like their base açaí a lot and it's the best treat on a hot day. Line today was crazy long though I just turned around.

More expensive compared to other locations in NYC. Plus they don't put in as much effort in presentation.

You have to go in person to join the waitlist, and the staff will not seat you unless your full party is there. It is always fun going on the weekend because they have specialty menu items. The food is consistently tasty and served very quickly. A few highlights include: - Banh Chung | Crispy Rice Cake: A solid starter to share among two to four people. The texture is chewy with a light crispiness on the outside. There is also a vegetarian option. - Vegetarian Curry: A savory yellow curry made with a coconut milk base. Really appreciate the variety of seasonal vegetables included. - Bun Ca Hai Phong | Fried Fish and Tomato Noodle Soup: Highly recommend getting this during the weekend! A nice alternative to the typical meat-based dishes. The tilapia is lightly fried, so the tomato broth does not become overly heavy, and the dill helps cut through any extra oil to balance out the flavors. - The beef noodle soups are also very good, but are more classic options. The rice platters are great to share since the portions are generously sized. The staff are always friendly and helpful throughout the meal. Service is very fast, especially considering the restaurant has always been full.

The inside was cute and cozy - a true mom and pop shop. When we left, the whole family showed up and was eating together which was super cute. For the food, I would say skip the pho - it was okay. But the bun thit nuong was pretty good!! The fish sauce was a little on the sweeter side but with the egg rolls, the noodles, and the grilled pork, it was so fresh and delicious. It's one of my favorite Viet dishes and it didn't disappoint. The viet iced coffee was also pretty good for New York! I want to come back to try their banh mí!
