Great addition to the park. Perfect for a treat after a walk/run around the lake. Quick service and has seats outside to enjoy.

Bánh is a great Vietnamese spot in Manhattan Valley and definitely worth checking out. The…read morerestaurant is casual yet cozy, and there is almost always a wait on weekends when it opens. You have to go in person to join the waitlist, and the staff will not seat you unless your full party is there. It is always fun going on the weekend because they have specialty menu items. The food is consistently tasty and served very quickly. A few highlights include: - Banh Chung | Crispy Rice Cake: A solid starter to share among two to four people. The texture is chewy with a light crispiness on the outside. There is also a vegetarian option. - Vegetarian Curry: A savory yellow curry made with a coconut milk base. Really appreciate the variety of seasonal vegetables included. - Bun Ca Hai Phong | Fried Fish and Tomato Noodle Soup: Highly recommend getting this during the weekend! A nice alternative to the typical meat-based dishes. The tilapia is lightly fried, so the tomato broth does not become overly heavy, and the dill helps cut through any extra oil to balance out the flavors. - The beef noodle soups are also very good, but are more classic options. The rice platters are great to share since the portions are generously sized. The staff are always friendly and helpful throughout the meal. Service is very fast, especially considering the restaurant has always been full.

That is when I came across this pastry shop. Wow!!! What an incredible experience !!!reminds me of Paris . Extraordinary service . I ordered a croissant and a coffee. Price was very fair. For nyc. They did not just hand the croissant or coffee to me. The staff took my order and then asked me to have a seat. That was a surprise to me. As I seated another staff brought over my order . They did not just put the croissant and coffee on the tray. It came with great presentation . butter , marmalade.cream , coffee , sugar etc . napkin, knife spoon etc. For me this is incredible service. Another highlight of this place. You can get free coffee. You do not need to warm your coffee you get free refills of coffee plus free cold water. FREE coffee and cold water on-a hot day hard TO find in the city. Thank you ALL for your SUPERB service. God bless.

There was a line but the staff moves so efficient it was just a short wait and well worth it. The pastries were a mix of sweet and savory. I was surprised to taste the quality of food was not diminished from the speed of service. Cheese danish was my favorite. Light and very warm.
