I was asked to give a brief review of my recent car-buying experience at your dealership, and one word immediately came to mind; that word is "smooth." After viewing the television advertisement showcasing the general manager and some of the gorgeous automobiles on the lot, I decided to swing by to visit Plaza Cadillac at 8893 U.S. Highway 441 in Leesburg. From the moment I walked onto the lot, everything fell into place and, within a day and a half, I was driving off in my brand new and gorgeous, I might add, 2018 Cadillac Escalade! During my initial visit at the dealership, and while peering through the window of a beautiful Cadillac Escalade on the lot, a very lovely salesperson named Teresa Matey approached me. At all times, Ms. Matey was very nice, pleasant, friendly, professional, soft spoken, informative, and so much more! I liked her straight away. During the entire transaction from start to finish, the first impression I had of Ms. Matey never wavered. As a matter of fact, all the folks at Plaza Cadillac were very polite, friendly, helpful and courteous and they made the entire sales process almost effortless. From the first meeting with Ms. Matey, through the price and trade-in negotiations and the document signing with another friendly manager, everything was made easy, simple, and pleasant. I have just purchased my 4th vehicle from Plaza Cadillac and I can't say enough positive things about the dealership. The general manager Greg is very approachable and always friendly. Tony Pagano knows so much about a Cadillac I think he could build one from scratch, and my sales person Rick was great!!! The service department is always friendly and eager to take care of any concerns immediately and in a timely manner. The new building is also a treat. The waiting area is very comfortable with wifi, a flat screen tv, drinks and snacks. No matter what you need, they have it or can get it for you. The entire team is there to meet any and all needs. ZERO! Actually, one percent. Only because Colt Cyr, this quality young salesman tried to apologize for his general managers's disrespectful, unruly behavior. This man was being blatantly racist to an Asian woman just because she demanded to take a couple hundred dollars off. GRANTED we would've bought it at 13,000 anyways! My son liked this car so I would've bought it one way or another. This GM is a douchebag. Came in, threw his hands up and yelled NO! And stormed out. Didn't even make eye contact or even a "hello, I'm the GM." Anyways, we had to leave because we felt so disrespected. Like we're spending thousands of dollars, not stealing an F-ing vehicle. When we got into our car outside Colt rushed out and apologized again and really just tried to be nice about the bad situation. From the moment we got to the dealership, we were treated like they really wanted our business. Our salesman, Bob McFall, answered every question we could possibly think of, and then some. When it came to negotiations, there really wasn't any. Bob submitted our information to Tony, who then inspected our trade- in. When they came back with a price for the trade in and the final price on the XT5, all we had to really say was yes. Between the Costco discount that we used, and the generous trade in allowance they gave us, it was a no-brainer. There's really no reason to travel all the way to Orlando, when you have such a great Cadillac dealer in Leesburg. New car buying is often a challenging event, and my purchase was no exception as it involved ordering a new model. Chris Gurnett, the salesman handling the transaction, took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and needed. He kept in contact with me on a regular basis with the status of the production of the new vehicle. When the vehicle was delivered he took the time to explain the myriad of functions the car systems would perform, and did his best to teach me how to operate them. After the sale he has followed up with me to assure that I had no problems or questions.
