We purchased a used vehicle at Villages Subaru. Salesman Ricardo was awesome! Finance seemed quick and easy. We took delivery same day. We had to move money around and would bring the 5k check the next day, WHICH WE DID. My check cleared through my bank. We sign a paper staing that if we DID NOT bring in the check, that it would be automatically withdrawn A few days later I look into my checking account and they withdrew another 5k from account leaving me overdrawn! We are now on day 2 of trying to get 5k returned! This is not an easy task! DO BETTER VILLAGES SUBARU! Finace dept 0 stars. I purchased my first Outback from Bill Byrant 7 years ago and decided to buy a new one. My salesman Lemond was terrific and stayed with me until I was completely satisfied with my selection. The floor manager then took over the process and after several back and forth we, I thought, agreed upon a price. I then proceeded to the finance office where I noticed that all the computer screens were built into the desktop. This individual was very adept from moving from screen to screen, never stopping at one screen to focus on any particular number. After we agreed upon a monthly price, I was handed a thumb drive with all of the documents contained therein. After several weeks I opened the thumb drive to find out that not only did the floor manager put back the original dollar amount of the car but the finance dept also added a line item that I was not aware of. Once I printed out the documents, I spoke to the general manager Mr. Keegan who apparently did a little research and refunded me $2100 that I overpaid on the front end and am still awaiting $1697 which was unduley charged by the finance dept. I understand that this individual is no longer there, but all I can say is CAVEAT EMPTOR! read more

Price gouging. Prices for typical services are double and triple as compared to other Subaru dealerships. Example North Orlando Subaru was $208.00 for new spark plugs, their price $650.00. The service is always good, but setting up an appointment is a challenge. Three times I'm told this call will be recorded. Then I get to 'Cella' I believe her AI name is to try and book my service. Over and over about which name, then telling what services are needed, just settled on 50K miles service. Two times round and round on that. Asked about my experience, it was a 1 with a comment of 'horrible.' It thanked me. I will take both my printed coupons and my wallet based ones. I'm betting the wallet will be rejected because they STAPLE coupons to the repair receipt. I'm hoping service will go well. read more

Now this is on an advertised unit which may also cause concern to the FLHMSV. What I share is to walk away! Allow the General Manager M. Keegan to abuse other clients financially, and take unfair advantage during all parts of a retail sale. Undervalued trades also were apparent and unjustified.. They also started with financing when clearly told unit would be paid in cash. More profit to the shady dealer. Business is dated and reeks of used car salesmen; however, they had the car we wanted. Called to confirm before driving an hour and a half and was told vehicle would be detailed and ready for us. Car was filthy and full of food/candy in back seat. After negotiations was told car was being detailed for us to take home. Was run through car wash but wasn't cleaned or vacuumed inside. Not what we expected for $50,000! Got home and noticed mileage was almost 4k more than what was advertised or documented on our paperwork. They advised they would send us a check for $500 for discrepancy and we agreed. 10 days later I called as we still had not received the check. Bottom line is that we got the Jeep Wagoneer that we wanted but dealer seems very slippery and would never go back there... read more

I went in to test drive a used Impreza. When it came to an out the door price, that 13K car was over 20K. The salesman got the manager to "explain" the fees to me. What he did was "mansplain" the unexplainable in the most condescending tone possible. His "explanation" was that every dealer charges an additional $1600 "fee." Service department poorly installed replacement part. The "new" interior part was dirty (including dust ball and hair...pictures to prove it) and not properly installed. Bolts and other interior parts were left on the floor mats. Attempts to contact the dealership via phone calls and emails to address the issues before posting this review go unanswered. After confirming the price and dealer fees (on a used 2020 Honda Accord), with the "2023 salesman of the year", we drove over 2 hours to look at the car. Once we decided to move forward with the purchase at full list price, we received the price contract which included over $3000 for an unnecessary "add on package"that did not amount to anything. When we questioned this , the finance manager got involved and agreed to sell at the original asking price and even shook hands on the deal. However, within minutes, he returned and said the GM would not let the car go without the "add on package". When I spoke to the GM to express my concerns and frustrations, he didn't even have the courtesy to uncross his legs or get off the couch he was sitting on. This is a shady business and I would expect better out of a Morgan Automotive Company. read more

I went into Villages Subaru in Leesburg to purchase a 2024 Wilderness all-wheel-drive. My trade-in was a 2020 Onyx XT Subaru with @ 20,500 miles (the second least miles of any 2020 Subaru Onyx Edition XT) I found for sale. The Villages Subaru salesman showed me the 2024 Wilderness which were available and provided me a worksheet which delineated, "my cost" to get the deal done. The first offer was $36,753 (have the written offer). I explained to the salesman that I really would liked the new car and wanted to trade in my current vehicle, but the price was just way too much. He went back to speak to his supervisor and they were able to offer me the same purchase for the exact venicle and the exact same trade-in for my Onyx Edition XT for a total of $23,500 (I also have in writing). It was great. I am a 57 year old woman who came into the dealership alone...so they really were looking out for me. They also offered me their current special Value...I think this is correct...a $2,700 value which included towing, lockout assistance, flat tire change and some other things...I think it also included the locking wheel nuts (which they explained were really needed since covid (I had no idea); and a protectant over the paint of the vehicle. The entire charge for the $2,700 value was only $700 (I think...)...but really lots of support and items for a significantly discounted cost. Once, the supervisor provided me with the 2d and final offer...he was somewhat exasperated that I wasn't taking the obviously great deal immediately. Once he left, the salesman explained...this was it...the supervisors absolute best offer and I better take it.... Note: I had purchased my last vehicle at Villages / Leesberg and wanted to purchased this one here as well.... I told the salesman let me think it over and look at some options over the next 3 days. I looked at the internet for Subaru deals and possible better deals just to be sure...I found Subaru Sport on John Young Parkway. Subaru Sport appeared (according to the internet) to take $3,000 of the sticker price and have no added fees (It really didn't seem believable). I went to the dealer on Sunday...just to check it out. Sure enough, 3K off the sticker price, no fees, and 7 year / 70,000 miles gold warranty which included Mechanical and digital (all computer issues). And lucky for me...the purchase of the added warranty allowed emergency towing, battery jump, lockout assistance, roadside winching and flat tire change...it also include custom trip routing and mapping, auto rental discounts...and other cross country perks not directly associated with my purchase...all for nothing. The plan had most of the items included in the great value of village Subaru for the astounding value of $700 (Disconnected from $2,700) included in the price. So, with the 2020 Subaru Onyx Edition XT with 20,500 miles and the same Wilderness I wanted at Leesberg / Villages...and the gold 7 year or 70,000 warranty the entire walk-out the door price was a total of $21,910. And, amazing Sport Subaru on John Young park way...reminded me I only needed service once every 6 months or 6,000 miles...and they wanted me to know...they their hourly rate was $50.00. With my 2020 Subaru though Village / Leesberg, I believed I required service every 3 month or every 3,000 miles service (...I also understood that the villages / Leesberg Subaru had a $100 an hour service fee...(I will defer to Village Subaru for any corrections). Again, I am a 56 year old woman who tried to do this all by myself.... I did buy my 2024 Subaru Wilderness ) and all additional parts from Subaru Sport on John Young Highway. I did call Subaru International to thank them for having Villages Subaru take good care of me...Subaru Villages revised their out the door price e door price of $36,753.51 to $23,500 all within 10 minutes...they really wanted to keep my business. RememberI purchased my previous Subaru Onyx XT 2020 at the Villages. As a recap -- I finally completed the 'walk out the door' deal with Sport Subaru on John Young Highway. I purchased the same car I initialed wanted (Subaru Wilderness 2024 with all the options and my original trade-in). Plus, the Gold Warranty (which was never included in the Villages Subaru Deal) which includes mechanical and Digital (Computer) Warranty for 7 years / 70,000 miles for a grand total of total of $21,910 at Sport Subaru on John Young My final cost at Sport Subaru was $14,813 less than Villages Subaru initial offer, and $1,590 less than the Villages 2d offer (neither Village offer included the Gold Warranty). * Thanks to everyone for their assistance! I was able to make my appointment over the phone without a wait, got in right away at the appointed time, and only waited 45 minutes for my service. Summer was awesome! Really friendly and efficient. I bought my Outback here over 5 years ago and it was a good experience (If buying a car can actually be a good experience). I've not come here for maintenance over the years since it is close to an hour from my house. My Outback came with a locking lug on each wheel (I'll never do that again) and when I was having some work done last week the unlocking tool was nowhere to be found. I think it was not replaced during a previous service. Anyway, I called two Subaru dealerships. One said they could order a tool for me and it would arrive in 8-10 days. One said they could do nothing for me but I could get one at a auto parts store (not true from what I can tell). I then called Bill Bryan Subaru and they told me they have a master key which worked out well since I had no locking lug nuts to replace the locking lug nuts. I got there and Rachel was amazing. She was friendly, funny, and made me smile. She was also efficient and very service oriented. I wish I lived closer so I could use the service department more often. read more

For Service Dept only: I got my Tekata airbag changed (for the second time) and one of their mechanics botched my wired-in radar detector. He left the wire somewhere behind the steering wheel in the dash. It clearly had a plug on the end where it went into the detector. Did he do this on purpose or was he just stupid??? read more

The tires on my Outback, which was under warranty, were never rotated. The front tires are considerably worn in comparison to the rear tires. Stay away from Bill Bryan. If you do have an issue, call Subaru customer service. They truly listen to your complaint. read more

I found a very nice car listed for a decent price, reached out, and worked with the dealership to arrange a deal with trade. I'm already financed, so it should have been a pretty painless process. Which I will admit, it was going very smoothly until I received an email from the dealership stating "Good news! We just lowered the price!". When I replied to the email asking the price, I was told it was an error and don't worry about it. When I check the website, the vehicle is listed for $100 lower than the NEGOTIATED price. They made weak attempts to convince me that my price was the best deal they could do, they're giving it away, blah blah blah. I understand their intent is to take as much money from me as possible, but to blatantly think I'm an idiot, and to tell me how great of a deal I'm getting is just disrespectful. Buyer beware. When buying a car from them, wait a week or two and see if they magically lower the price on their website. This is the most difficult experience I've had trying to purchase a vehicle -- and I'm already financed! Check in hand. After agreeing on the price and interest I requested to send an email to my banker to finalize the deal and the sales manager got out of the office and told me that the vehicle was SOLD to a lady from Amsterdam. I question why would you sell a car to somebody else when I have spend over 2 hours in their dealer dealing for the same car and the deal was basically closed. An out-of-towner, I came in for service because something didn't look quite right with my brakes. They looked over the car and told me it looked like it was in great shape. I was so relieved! I know very little about cars and it would have been easy for them to make up something to charge me for. In addition to checking my brakes, I had them do an oil change while I was here, because it was getting close to time for that anyway. I was in and out in about an hour. Everyone was super friendly, and I even bought a cute Subaru hat because I was in such a good mood and didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars on a repair. If you guys read this: Thank you!
