Purchased a cute wallet that fit all my needs yesterday at the Tannersville PA Coach outlet, only to find someone's cosmetology license and a building access key card tucked inside -- meaning I purchased a USED item from this Coach store! I live 2 hours away, so returning to that store is not an option. The Outlet referred me to Coach Customer Service, who will send me a return label, but I still have to pack it up and drop it off at the nearest UPS location, and will not be able to get this same wallet as it's out-of-stock (and the nearest outlet is 45 minutes away if I want to find a similar one). Customers should NEVER have to check to be sure a Coach item hasn't been previously used, and should NOT have to go to any effort to be made whole when something like this happens. I have a Coach Brooklyn bag that has some stitching coming undone. Since I purchased the bag less than a year ago, this repair is covered by the Coach 1 year warranty. I brought my bag into this store as stated I could by the Coach website. The manager at this store, Fransisco, would not take my bag for repair. He said that because the bag was purchased at Macy's, then I would have to return it to Macy's (this isn't true as per Macy's policy). He told me to leave this Coach store, head to the nearest Macy's (at a different mall), and IF they wouldn't help me, I could drive BACK to him at Coach, and ONLY THEN he could help me send the bag in for repair under warranty. So, he admitted that he is able to send the bag in for repair under warranty... Why not do it now then? I did not want to do this since I was already at Coach, and I explicitly read on Macy's website that Coach bag warranties must be made through Coach directly (which we mentioned to him). I decided that instead of driving around, I would just ask him how much the repair costs. He never answered this question for me. Each of the 3 times I asked, he redirected the answer to once again "go to Macy's and they'll probably just send you a whole new bag!" Which, by the way, is not even true because my bag is 11 months old, but seemed like he was just saying anything that would convince me to go to Macy's. Again, at this point I was not even worried about the warranty, or even a new bag, I willing to pay for the repair. I eventually left as he clearly did not want to deal with the repair, and at that point I didn't trust that he even knew how to do it properly. I am now mailing my bag into Coach directly. Isn't that interesting how Coach online is happy to deal with my repair even though it was made through an authorized retailer? I'm a Coach collector and love this brand for the high quality of their products. Two weeks ago for the second time I visited this location. Same as last time, as soon as I entered the store, the bald manager, Francisco, stared at me, looked me up and down, and started saying something into his headpiece instead of greeting me to make me feel welcomed and interested in shopping. Same as last time, he made me so uncomfortable that I ended up leaving the store without buying anything. As soon as I stretched my hand to touch a bag, two people would approach me from right and left like I was a criminal. I would never return to this store in a million years because of the unwelcoming culture that this manager has. I purchased 2 Coach totes from the Coach Outlet in December 2025. They arrived quickly. Both arrived on the same day, but in different boxes. One was wrapped in brown paper and the other in purple tissue. Upon opening, BOTH totes smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. So heavily, we had to quickly close the boxes and place them in the garage. I noticed the boxes were sent from a "return center." I was obviously sent items that had been returned. A Coach Outlet representative acted confused about my receiving items from a return center, but promised I would receive a $50 certificate for each of the bags for my troubles. Careful! They use Fedex to ship. If Fedex loses your package, you have to dispute credit card charge to get your money back, even when Fedex records show the package is lost, Coach won't reimburse you even though they can file an insurance claim with Fedex. Apparently, Coach doesn't insure their shipments. They just dump the cost onto you. I have to dispute a $400 purchase never received with my credit card company to get reimbursed. read more

Every time I've gone in here they are having at least a 50%-60% off sale.(off already discounted items), sometimes even more. They carry the latest Coach items, however the latest stuff may not be discounted. Customer service is also on point. I even had to bring my purse in for repair. I ordered a carryall purse and a medium wallet off of the website a couple weeks ago and even chose the no rush shipping option and it came on the December 23rd right in time for Christmas and did not take long at all! A++ for shipping and time. I love it and the bags and wallet were nicely wrapped and protected. My only issue is that it is not as big as I thought, but I don't mind. I don't carry much anyways, but even with the little stuff that i do have in it, it is still kind of heavy. I also noticed some of the threads have small pieces sticking out and I noticed some spots around the bag (they are tiny so at first glance no one would see it and I don't know if they were there when I got it because I was not looking too closely) but I have only barely used it for 2 days and I think its the material on the bag that made those "wearing" type of small dots because they won't go away. I think its the outer leather material of the bag. Otherwise I love it, I just really hope it lasts me a long time. Today is December 26th, 2020, so I guess we will see, but a definite 4 stars for now. It was cheaper than the original, yes, but it still wasn't that cheap, and for what I paid, I really hope those spots or little frays won't do any damage. Pros: - Inventory is greater than Viejas Outlet, less than Carlsbad outlet. - On a slow day, customer service can be exceptional Cons: - Sales are commission driven. - Not all employees will offer to check the back for stock. - If you ask for an item from the back due to various customers (including kids with sticky fingers) touching what is to be a "premium leather product", again, some sales associates will check, not all. - Cashier shoved everything into one bag. I asked for multiple bags, they declined. I've seen grocery stores bag groceries with more care than the cashier that helped me. - They don't care to check for sensors. You can walk out and alarms will go off and they wont even bother to stop anyone. Cashiers look at you like you need to get back in line so they can remove the sensors. The security guard doesn't even bother to attend to the situation. Maybe that's why high end stores get looted. You get what you pay for with Coach, but I really don't see this location and or the brand competing with the likes of their competitors. I came in at 5:50pm today June 14th 2020 to get a backpack I already knew where it was located and I was told the store was at capacity and I couldn't walk in ( capacity being 10 people) there was two clients in the store and employees where closing the store early. Additionally, there has now been two times that they have items that are not priced correctly. Not the signage, the actual tag on the item. When it was brought to their attention, I was first ignored, then when I questioned more, they told me they could not honor the price on the sticker. The total amount I spent was $372.00, with the relaxed fit polo costing $68.40 and the two signature polos totaling $136.80, including tax. Yesterday, I was excited to discover a 20% sale on all items. I immediately contacted the store to inquire about returning the polos for a price adjustment. The store representative kindly advised me to call 1-800-307-0040, which I promptly did. However, to my surprise, I noticed today that I had only been credited $1.25. Upon reaching out to the store again, I was told by a representative and her supervisor that I was not eligible for the 20% discount because the original price I paid was already better than the sale price due to a change in pricing. I found this to be incredibly unfair, as customers are being unknowingly misled into thinking they're receiving a discount when, in fact, they are not. So I placed a order for two handbags at the end of November so I figured I would have enough time to get them before Christmas. on their website it says all purchases before the 11th of December will get to you before Christmas.. which is like in my case they said that I would get an email once my products shipped out. today is the 23rd of December and I just got off the phone with customer service and they still have not shipped out my product thanks for RUINING MY CHRISTMAS coach. PSA Be very careful about ordering anything from coachoutlet.com !! I ordered a wristlet and they sent me the wrong one!! It was supposedly the same size and color but it was definitely the wrong style. I thought about just dealing with it, but it looked much smaller than I expected. On the product details, it said it would fit an iphone or Android. It even showed a video of someone putting their phone in the bag. I tested it and my standard sized phone does NOT fit. Wrong style and false advertisement - I'm not keeping that! So I looked at the return slip that came in my shipment. It said "return postage required." What?! I already paid to have it shipped to me, they sent me the wrong one, and I now have to pay to ship it back?! No thanks! I called customer service. My first call to customer service was around 3:45 PM est yesterday afternoon. The automated message system said I could sit on hold or request a call back within 45 minutes. I hit the button to request a call back. Want you know when they called back?!? 3 AM!! Thankfully my phone was on silent. I lose enough sleep as it is! I called customer service again around lunch today. This time they said I'd get a call back within 30 minutes. I finally heard from them at 10 PM... I was actually awake and able to talk at 10 PM so I answered. I explained the situation and was told that the best they could do was to have me still pay to ship it back and then, after they got it back, they'd give me a merchandise credit to cover my shipping for the next time I ordered from them. I will not be ordering from them again... There was a bit more to the phone call and I sat on hold no less than 5 times throughout the call, but that was still "the best they could offer." They sent me the wrong freaking bag!! Why would I pay to ship it back and settle for a merchandise credit to still only cover one leg of the shipping?! I'm currently trying to sell the bag or maybe I'll find a way to return it to the outlet store that's 45 min away from my house...but I was warned that I should call the store first because they may not be accepting returns due to covid. The worse cst service experienc EVER. I ordered a shoulder bag and a handbag to go with it. After not recieving my order I reached out to Coach and was told there was nothing they could do to refund my money because UPS delivered my package. I advised them the order was not delivered to me and they said the notes said it was delivered to a woman. After getting a lead on the line who was no more help than the rep, I asked for a Sup. I was told no one was availabl and that I couldn't wait for one. Was told I would get a CB in 2-4 hours. Issue still unresolved. I will NEVER shop with this company again and I don't suggest anyone else to do so. read more
