Tasted authentic, generous portions, nice ambiance, but overall probably won't return. I ordered a beef chimichanga with a horchata and hubby had the triple soft tacos with a jaritto. The complimentary chips and two salsa frescos, red and green were decent although not spicy enough for my liking. There was hot sauce on the table but I felt they were catering to a mild palate. The chimichanga was overstuffed with too much rice and not enough meat and veggies. Also, the thicker portions of the flour tortilla were a bit soggy and not crisply fried as I would've preferred. The food was overpriced, I felt, for a lunch for two people and get this, drink refills of my horchata was charged each time. The glass was small and half of it was ice cubes. My total bill was $40 including tip for lunch. Disappointed overall. Response to business owner's comment: regarding free refills, your competitor up the highway provides free refills on Horchata (I understand no free refills on the Jarittos. There was only one hot sauce on the table. Maybe a better option would be to offer more than one heat intensity for varying tastebuds. read more

I truly wanted to like this place. Given the fact that I ate very little all day I thought I'd eat anything. To start the allergen awareness here is very good. They seem responsible and understood Laura's nut allergy completely. For that I thank them. The food was just average on one and and BAD on the other. To start with my shrimp tacos. These were essentially steamed shrimp with NO seasoning on the verge of being raw garnished with cilantro and onion. The tortillas were insanely greasy and helped contribute to these being nearly inedible. I tried doctoring up the taco with guacamole, salsa, lime, and literally ANYTHING else I had available for some kind of flavor but the shrimp's texture made it hard to get down. It was SO off. I would expect the shrimp to be sautéed, browned on a side maybe, seasoned? Any one of these things would have made a world of difference. Then their was the black bean quesadilla. It was fine. No issues with the taste. It just was exactly what I wrote. Black beans in a cheese quesadilla. It was loaded with them which is fine for me personally but it has literally nothing else. One note...Bean. Their guacamole and salsa was quite good actually. Which made seeing and trying to ingest my entree that much worse. I'm not sure how to describe it but the flavors weren't right. I ordered carne asada and tacos. The ground beef was semi congealed and the steak lacked seasoning except for cinnamon in the background. Both were lukewarm when picked up ( at the appointed time given). I'm not sure what has happened, but the flavors are no longer there. I'm a bit sad about it. read more

I have never been dissatisfied when ordering from here. In fact, it is my favorite place for Mexican food. Their tacos are amazing. I really like the nachos as well. The food is always well prepared and ready fast. Overall great place to eat. read more

Decided to try to place for dinner. Just opened up not to long ago and I was excited for an actual Mexican restaurant. Decided to get take out this go around. Looked over the menu and they had some decent options, even had a vegan section which I thought was nice. Looked over the menu and decided on the shrimp burrito. With a side of guacamole. Decided to keep it simple this time. Prices were also pretty fair. Got home and the burrito looked okay appearance wise. Took my first bite and my first thought was I wish the tortilla would haven been cooked up a little. Maybe a little crispy. It was like they just put everything in the tortilla and didn't even warm it up and I know what you are thinking well you go it to go so it may have gotten cold. No I can tell the difference when a tortilla has been warmed or cooked a little vs when it has not. I have had plenty of take out. The burrito had decent flavor, it had more beans than anything however. The shrimp were pretty small. It wasn't the best or the worst burrito I had. The guacamole was pretty good and the meal came with home made chips. I would possibly go back and maybe try something else on the menu if I didn't feel like cooking one day. This place is amazing! I just went last week and I already want to go back. The food is good and our waitress offered us free margaritas! I'm a vegan so their vegan menu is a huge plus for me. Their prices are very reasonable and you get tortilla chips for your table. Our waitress was one of the nicest waiters I've ever had. She was super friendly and kept coming out to see if we needed anything. She was always smiling. The chef also came out at one point to check on us. 10/10 would recommend. Visited Plaza Vazquez for the first time and I wish we'd known about this place sooner! Super tasty and authentic with decent prices. Friends and I ordered a burrito and empanadas. There are quite a few vegan options on the menu so everyone in our party was happy. Many items are less than $10 and they have a variety of inexpensive a la carte sides such as rice, beans, mac & cheese, etc. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our server was very attentive- quick to refill our waters and chips. The chef even came out to check if everything was going well. Inside was very clean and quiet on a Thursday night. Trying this for the first time, my daughter wanted authentic Mexican food . They gave us chips and an assortment of salsa that was tasty and homemade. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. So today I gave this place a try. I just want to firstly say that I am never one to really nitpick about the servers being friendly or not. I honestly am the kind of person that likes good food and the place being clean. Having good servers is just a plus but will never actually affect my review if it does it's for good reason. But anywho the service was great and everyone was nice. So I had the vegan burrito, horchata and flan. I wasn't expecting the burrito to be as big as it was or the pico de gallo to be on the top but it wasn't bad that way and for vegan cheese which I'm not really a fan of wasn't bad either. The horchata could have had more cinnamon but that was just as good as the other places I have been too. But the flan. It was probably the best thing I had. Not too sweet but sweet enough and nice and creamy and thick. I know most people don't make it with cheese but I really prefer it that way. Gives it a better consistency in my opinion. All and all for a first experience it was really enjoyable and I was really full. I will be going back read more

Just ordered through doordash and had to call because of a minor issue - the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful and tried to blame the driver which is totally unprofessional. I had ordered steak fajitas and the order was missing tortillas, sour cream, and salsa. I received a container of meat and veggies with rice. That is not a fajita meal. When I asked if they could send the missing items or refund my card, they said the driver must have taken out the items: out of a fully tied bag they want to say the driver just took out tortillas, salsa, and sour cream. Went with a group of about 10 friends to Plaza Vasquez in Stowe. Parking was no problem. All were amazed at how nice and clean it appeared throughout, with a nice atmosphere for a restaurant in a mini-mall. It is possible to see the cook and the clean kitchen, from the dining area. The waitress was very hospitable, accommodating, and helpful in ordering items from the menu. She took orders from the group with no problems or mix-ups with the food or bills. The waitress was very attentive and responsive to any special requests. The food came out from the kitchen presented very well, fresh, delicious, with quantity and quality. There were no complaints from any one, and the consensus was that we would make a return visit. We need a blend of various type restaurants in the Pottstown / Stowe area, and we are so glad to have this one nearby. read more

This place is great. Fresh ingredients, big vegetarian menu if you're into that. Real Mexican sodas none of that corn syrup stuff. Ambiance is great. Food was fresh and waitress was good too. Guacamole was to die for. We enjoyed that the owner came out and talked with us also. We definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be telling all of our friends about it as well.
