The owner has truly thought of everything to make the wedding process easy, stress-free, and absolutely beautiful. You can tell she's poured her heart into creating a place where couples can fully enjoy their day. Ashley, the rock-star wedding planner, and her team were a dream to work with. They were kind, professional, and always kept communication open, which gave my daughter such peace of mind during planning. On the wedding day itself, they took care of absolutely everything so we could just soak in every moment without a single worry. They listened to what my daughter wanted and brought her vision to life in the most thoughtful way. The venue itself is breathtaking--the covered outdoor chapel was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony, the reception hall was stunning, the bridal and groom's suites were spacious and comfortable, and the lobby and courtyard made cocktail hour so fun and inviting. To top it off, the DJ kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long! And the best part? The pricing was extremely reasonable with no hidden fees--such a rare and refreshing experience. Everything felt transparent and fair. We left the weekend feeling so thankful. To the owner, Ashley, and the entire team: thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making my daughter's wedding day everything she dreamed it would be.

I did enjoy Sharp Mountain Vineyards, but I don't think it quite makes my list of top favorite…read moreGeorgia vineyards. This is a bit of a smaller place, and the interior doesn't fit too many people. There is a patio outside though and you can walk around outside near the vines. I think the most difficult part was getting here and the parking situation. The way to get here was an extremely winding and twisting road. It was pretty hard to drive, but most roads to vineyards in North Georgia are like that. However, I did think this was a little harder to navigate and drive to than others I have been to, though. The most important part is the wine. We got a Groupon deal for 2 premium wine tastings (pick 5) and a souvenir glass. We tried the: -Sauvignon Blanc: Flavors of fresh cut grass, melons, and herbs. Definitely a good one if you are a Sauvignon Blanc fan like I am! -Gewurztraminer: Gardenia and Jamaican allspice. This is the most unique one I tried with a very interesting spice flavor to it. -Sangiovese: Red with fruity flavors of strawberry, cherry, raisin, and spice. Medium-bodied. -Collage: Bordeaux blend with black cherry, raspberry, vanilla, and chocolate. -Trebonnay: Semi-sweet with pear, mango, and citrus. Most of the wines here are all dry. But there is one semi-sweet wine, and 3 sweet wines. I enjoyed all the ones I tried! I really would recommend all of them. After the tasting, I also got a glass of Pickens Pink, a sweet blush wine with cherry-berry flavors. I thought it was a sweet, refreshing finish to the tasting. For parking, there are only 3 or 4 parking spots and the rest of the cars were parallel parked on a very small section of the road. There was no space available when we got there, so we actually parked somewhere across the street and walked there, which I'm not sure if we were allowed to do. The lady working here was very friendly and pretty quick to fill our next tasting. However, she did accidentally overcharge us since we already paid on Groupon and she charged us again. She did reverse it though, so not too big of a deal. Sharp Mountain is a cool place to check out if you are looking for a new vineyard to try in North Georgia! I really liked looking at all the vines since all the rows are marked with what kind of wine those grapes produce. There's also a nice mountain backdrop to the vineyard which gives it a nice view.

However, it became clear pretty quickly that Angela is a nice person and a good salesperson but has very little experience with weddings, especially one as large as ours (150 people). Her contract was extremely vague, listing no specific details or costs. And although she continually boasted of her wonderful vendors we quickly realized that she was just scampering around trying to find someone that was available for our day so that she could get a percent of their profit. Catering was not included in her "all-inclusive" package but she kept trying to get us to use a caterer she found. After doing some research (and reading the email exchange between the two of them that she sent us by accident) we realized it wasn't a particularly reputable company (name spelled wrong on the invoice she sent us, no online presence whatsoever, had no dishware or wait staff) so we requested to use our own caterer. Suddenly out of the blue she tells us that there is a fee for using an outside caterer..what?? We ended up cancelling the contract to find a more professional venue that would have our best interests at heart. In the end it ended up being a pretty stressful experience and if you do decided to use Venue2Remember I don't suggest the "all inclusive" package and make sure all details and costs are clearly spelled out in writing.
