She and 5 of her friends were guided to the Venetian and since we had a cancellation due to illness, I enjoyed a solo high tea in the Buckingham across the hall. The Grande has an extensive tea menu from black teas to herbal to rooibos. They light a delightful warmer at your table to keep your tea heated. The soup and salad came first. It was all absolutely delicious. Fresh pear adorned the mixed fields greens and the tomato soup had a dash of creme fraiche. Even the teens raved about them! The tower of finger sandwiches and desserts was also thoughtfully curated and delicious. The egg salad, pimento cheese and scones were so fresh! All of it was!
