It is a private and personalized experience. She was thorough and attentive to my needs. She was also thoughtful about privacy and made accommodations for my chronic pain. While I have been having waxes for a while and rarely experience pain, I experienced NO pain with Gail! She is extremely knowledgable and has medical expertise in addition to aesthetician expertise. She was able to advise me on issues I was faces related to the services, and I have had the best after-effects I have ever experienced in 8+ years of consistent waxing. I normally go to EWC, but she has a new repeat client. Loved speaking to her as well; she is a warm, genuine, and friendly person. This is in the Phenix Salons. They're sticklers for having you call to be let inside the building, which is frustrating but that's on the building management--NOT on the suite owners like Gail. Parking is easy--there's a garage right next to the spa. The atmosphere inside her suite is cozy, clean, and neutral without strong smells or loud music. After…read morethe first treatment, I could already see the difference of less and much finer hair coming in. The appointment is super quick and gets less painful with each treatment. If you can only get one area lasered, do your underarms! I used to be self conscious of my underarms because of the dark spots that were there even after I shaved and now they are completely gone. I was a little skeptical about getting my mole removed since it was above my eyebrow but in a couple months you won't even be able to tell it was there! Since it scabs up immediately after the treatment you have to be patient and let it heal on it's own. Reka is fantastic and let's you ask a million questions and has a ton of great suggestions for other products to help with your skin. While the procedure and healing process was quick and painless, he did not completely remove all of the excess skin I have from blow outs that were caused during the stretching process. Because of this extra lump, my earrings do not fit properly causing constant tugging and infections. His nurse was the only one that tried to make sure I was comfortable during the procedure. He was more concerned about getting done and getting me out of there. He did not bandage my right ear correctly, causing the gauze to be adhered to my ear for weeks because of all the dried blood. I had to cut the gauze off because I couldn't loosen the blood. When I went for my follow up procedure to have my stitches removed, he left a few of them in, leaving me to remove them myself at home. As far as getting my ears re-pierced by him, I should have ran when I saw he was using a piercing gun. For those of us that are piercing and tattoo fanatics, we know piercing guns do loads of damage. My piercings are crooked because he did them one at a time rather than mapping them out with a marker to make sure they were even first. It's been 7 weeks since I got them re-pierced by him, and although I have been keeping them clean, I am still having problems with constant pain, swelling and infections. I knew I should have gone to a tattoo shop to get them re-pierced.
