I was confident that the referral had already been sent, especially considering that this appointment had been scheduled for more than a month. I immediately tried calling my doctor's office to clarify the situation. Instead of showing any patience or making an effort to help verify the referral or confirm the appointment, the receptionist came back to the window asking what I was going to do because otherwise I would have to reschedule. What bothered me the most was her attitude and complete lack of empathy or willingness to help. I had arrived on time for an appointment that had been scheduled well in advance, and she could not even make an effort to contact someone or help clarify the situation before telling me I would need to reschedule. The way she communicated with me came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Front desk staff are the first impression patients have of a medical office, and basic courtesy and willingness to assist should be expected. If someone is unhappy dealing with patients or unwilling to provide basic customer service, perhaps a front desk position is not the right role for them. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning to this office.

The woman just said okay we already cancelled your appointment. Fortunately, their are a lot of good dermatologists in this market so it is time to move on from this poorly run office. But you can tell that they're always in a rush trying to get to the next patient which can be frustrating especially when you pay a lot of money for appointments and they barely are in the room for two minutes (not exaggerating, I've timed it at 90-120 second interactions). Perhaps the worst person at this location is their esthetician. It's the lady that's on the main photo of this yelp review. Her name is Anita & she's an absolute money grab. She will upsell you on every single item possible swearing by their brand "Proscript" skincare which isn't even any good (I'm sure she makes commission). She's uneducated & honestly just annoying to have a conversation with. I would love to get facials done while I'm there but I would never get them done by her so I go to another medical grade skin spa down the road. Perhaps the worst part about this place is getting ahold of them. You'll waste a good 20-30 minutes of your life trying to get the right phone line.
