Don't waste your time coming here. The whole place is a complete joke with no prices listed on anything. Online it clearly states that you are open at 7am on Saturday. We arrived at 8:30am and were told you don't actually open until 9am. The receptionist said we could come in and look around but no one would be there to help us until 9am. An older woman with dark hair and a cane came in at 9am and completely ignored us. Instead she talked to the receptionist about the food she had brought with her. When she did acknowledge me, she snipped that I was going to have to give her a few minutes. It wasn't the wait I had a problem with. It was the attitude. I started to walk out. The receptionist asked where I was going. I said it's after 9am and no one is ready to wait on me. She also snipped at me saying that it was just 9am. Exactly. It's 9am and no one is available. I kept walking. A young woman with long blonde hair followed us outside. Are you kidding me? She yelled out that she could help us. I said that we were all set. She said I can answer any questions you have. I said again that we were all set. She told me that she had to drop off her kids. How completely unprofessional. I told her I didn't care about her kids and left her standing there with her mouth hanging open. These three employees cost you a sale. We went to a competitor and bought materials for a complete bathroom remodel. Until the day I die I will tell everyone I know not to shop with you. read more

Good source for Kitchen & Bathroom Plumbing upgrades. The only issue, you are expected to be working with a Plumber and/or a Contractor for full assistance. The average Joe & Betty can browse the showroom at anytime (when they're open), but ordering can get a little difficult, if you're looking for a Contractors discount. We recently, browsed, like any Joe & Betty, but we had previously spoken with a Contractor (actually three, which is my minimum) and dropped a name when sitting with the Showroom Staff. We were welcomed and allowed ample to time to ask questions and select the specific item we were looking for. In this case a Shower head, shower handle on an adjustable bar with a mixer. With that said, we opted to order directly & pay directly. We were offered our Contractor's discount and plan to pick-up directly at the storeroom / warehouse. Get a new receptionist. The woman at the front desk named Lisa or Linda is absolutely a disgrace for the front space of a business. I was visiting the showroom after a friend recommended it to me with my parents. The showroom itself was very nice and clean. I was able to help my parents pick out what they need for their new kitchen. But amidst our browsing, all you can hear is this rude/ cursing receptionist walking back and forth like she hates every customer who walks in. She doesn't greet you, and she is such a negative distraction. Everyone else in sales was extremely helpful and friendly. But i definitely do not see myself coming back to where the first person you see IN reception, acts rude and unprofessional. Plimpton and Hills, choose the face of your company better. read more

Selection was very good lots to look at and choose from no question about it. Why I give it a 2 experience is because the people who waited on us treated us very poorly. Like we were bothering them. We did find something we really liked but they didn't want us to take home the piece to see if it matched like we're going to steal it and not return it. As others have stated the sales lady had a terrible attitude. I think her name was Jocelyn. She was irritated that I asked questions. When we stated we were purchasing today she was a bit nicer but how do you promote sales when you treat customers as if they are a nuisance. Attitude aside they had what we needed. I was renovating my bathroom and my contractor recommended this place to buy Kohler bathroom products and other bathroom furniture and accessories. You need to call and make an appointment if you want to meet with a salesperson. Otherwise, they do have a showroom and lots of Kohler products on display if you want to browse. Generally, the people working here are very friendly. Unfortunately, the saleslady I worked with-- though super nice-- wasn't helpful or efficient or punctual. She was frequently distracted and ordering two bathroom vanities seemed to take forever. In addition, Plimpton & Hills delivered my order incorrectly (more than once) and items in my order were delayed, which also delayed my bathroom renovation project. It's two months later and I'm still waiting on a part of my order. Frustrated, I ordered the rest of my bathroom accessories from another more competent supplier and honestly, I'd tell other people to do the same. read more

DO NOT go to Plimpton & Hills if you are a layperson. We went there based on the recommendation of a contractor, and we totally regretted it. The showroom is lovely and the products are top quality, but the sales person who handled our order was awful. She tried, I will give her that, but she repeatedly got details wrong, sent the wrong items, and was just generally bad at communicating. When we spoke to a manager, we were told we were wrong and it was implied that the trouble with the order was our fault. Maybe for designers and contractors this place is less confusing and a better customer service experience, but NEVER again would I step foot in there. read more

Terrible attitude, Ray is terrible, rude and doesn't know how to treat customers. I will not use them again

We are renovating our bathroom and purchased all of our items from P&H. Our Kohler vanity was delivered along with everything else - and upon inspection we saw that it was damaged. We called the showroom and they referred us to the Hartford office. I spoke to the customer service rep - and have never been treated so poorly. They refused to take the item back - told me to call Kohler and get replacement parts. Imagine - spending 500 dollars on a vanity - it comes damaged - and they have me call Kohler to fix it myself. THEN - the toliet came. Got it to the house - the bolts were missing. Please do not shop here. Renovating is stressful enough - dont shop at a place that gives you more headaches and grief. read more

I visited the showroom for ideas on how to remodel a powder room and after working with Vito, a consultant, I made a purchase several weeks later. Vito is knowledgeable and a good listener with a good sense of design. He is not a high pressured sales person and puts the needs of his clients first. I was happy that he was able to give me a discount for the vanity. Plus the delivery charge is quite reasonable. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this organization and can't speak to installation, but showroom service was great. read more

I visited the Waterware showroom and worked with Angela, she was so knowledgeable about the latest ADA standards and together we designed a very special wheelchair accessible bathroom that perfectly fits my needs. She even helped with the lighting and tile for the remodel and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome or the thorough, one on one service I received from Angela. read more

We were hesitant to come here because of the poor Yelp reviews but our contractor told us to come and we listened. We made an appointment and got to sit with Theresa who was so kind and helpful. She spent nearly two hours with us and covered every detail we would ever need to finish our renovations. The showroom has many. many items and she has even more ideas.
