I asked if they could just add me onto the schedule since I was planning to patronize this business for a majority of the day, but they said they have no space and all I can do is just cancel the salt room experience. This was a terrible customer service experience, especially given that it was last minute and for a specific special occasion. I will never try to book anything here again, and I suggest that you avoid this place as well. UPDATE: they apparently still charged my account the full price of the services that I requested, despite saying that nothing went through. Despite saying that I only left the card in file, but they would never charge me before the services were rendered...stay far away from this place. Unable to provide the services, but they also don't want to give me my money back. They're trying to scam me out of my money. I am disputing these charges.

Partial disclaimer to start: I went to Kos for the first time in May. Which may change some of…read morethe aspect of this experience versus the winter cold plunge season. I have long thought of coming here but I have a community pass during the colder months at a place in Massachusetts that I go to so reached this during my tour of other plunge sauna locations after my usual closes down. The water temp was currently in the 60's so not a full cold plunge. It is convenient being only a half hour drive from where I live. The parking are is shared with the marina and Lago by Druthers which on a warm weekend day did make it hard to find parking as the lot was almost full when I arrived in the afternoon. The sauna boat space is beautifully and thoughtfully designed for the space considerations with a reception area that doubles as storage for session participants, a roof top deck, small changing area, sauna space and the back deck/cold plunge area. The staff were very friendly and walked me through all I needed to know including the oil they use in the sauna to check for any sensitivity. The sauna session was a great experience, the wood burning heater stayed pretty consistent in temperature across the space. The view and the gently rocking was soothing but this may change depending on weather and motor boat activity as the summer season progresses. I found the water to be cool and refreshing and easy to tolerate at its warmer temperatures. Given the time of year, there was alot of activity around boats, kayaks, paddle boards, and lagos outdoor seating area overlooks its current location. I did leave, hearing from the staff that for the summer they are planning on moving the sauna out to the end of the dock into deeper waters and giving some distance to the water entry points. As an accessibility note, to get into the water you do have to use a ladder to get in and out of the water which I found the ladder to be a bit shorter in the water than I would like, maybe one more step rung would be enough to fix this. You do need upper and lower body strength to get yourself up on the ladder I do plan to go back again and give this another try after they move out and probably in the colder season when the lake activity goes down a bit

My mom was visiting from Cali; cold plunging + WIM HOF has just always been her "thing". When I saw KOS bubble up on my instagram algorithm, I did not hesitate to book. KOS is a group experience so you will be in the sauna with up to 15 others, but for a good reason. You will appreciate the support and hearing other's journeys etc. The facility is clean, peaceful, and relaxing. There is nothing negative I can say honestly--just GO and you will understand. Afterwards feel prepared to have enough energy to run a marathon :)

First, I thought to myself I wouldn't be able to be in a tank. Fortunately, it was an open space. The smell of Epson salt is strong, but I got use to it and it wasn't overpowering. With the ear plugs in, I could hear the traffic faintly. But the rest of my body was jello in the best possible way. It's an hour long of float and the time passes by so fast. I love the option they have for light (low blue light) in case complete darkness is a problem. I used it once to ground myself. Lastly, the water fountain shower after with tee tree and eucalyptus wash shampoo/conditioners and lotions provided at the end wrap up the whole experience. It was clear no one had swept the floors for a very long time, there was hair and cobwebs stuck to the wall, and mold growing on the floorboards and the roof of the tank itself! We visited today, a Sunday, which was a rare weekend visit (usually we take a day off and go during the week for a slight discount in pricing for services). There were a lot of groups of women celebrating birthdays, weddings, and maybe just a girls day (which I have enjoyed there on occasion). We started with 50 minute massages. I had Nikki, who I had not had before but was spectacular. If you are getting a massage for the first time, Nikki is the person to request (although I am a massage pro and still had an excellent experience)! She walked through the process, and was sure to make sure I was comfortable with everything involved. The pressure was perfect and she focused on the areas I requested. Afterwards, my husband and I met in the Bistro for lunch and a cocktail. He had the risotto, which he enjoyed, and I got the chicken salad croissant which is a favorite for me. The grapes, apples and cranberries add a depth that I enjoyed. It was also great to see some seasonal cocktails on the menu (I opted for an apple cider mimosa). Sam and Brittany were super friendly, attentive, and made excellent drinks! We have been going to Spa Mirbeau as a couple, with friend, and with family for the past 5 years and they deliver every time. Can't wait to return!!

In the locker room multiple showers were broken so we had to adjust our plans on showering after our massages but we made it work. And lastly we had issues with our bill and the staff wasn't able to handle it at the moment so hopefully that got taken care of by my friend coordinating after the fact. The floor linoleum was old and in need of replacement, or at least a deep cleaning. The pedicure was slipshod. My feet soaked in the lukewarm whirlpool for about 10m, then she took my feet out for the "massage", This consisted if her rubbing some lotion only on the front of my lower legs. Very disappointing. The manicure was borng as she made no attempt to make any sort of pleasant chit-chat, even when I did. I found out halfway through that they did not use gel polish, and both my mani and pedi had peeled off in a week. The whole thing cost me $120. It would have cost me $80 - with gel and much better service - in my hometown of Cambridge, MA. It's a good thing I downgraded from the deluxe mani/pedi, which would've set me back $145.

When we got into the massage room he said I am going to give you two hours. I said what? He said I am going to give you two hours. I said, oh!! OKAY! While thinking about it I thought I am the only customer here maybe he would rather work than sit around, or maybe its because it is my bday. Or Maybe it is because I am a first time customer. NOPE to all. At checkout he said I owed $130.00 Well I didnt have that much cash on me so he goes credit card? And I am like wait $130.00 plus tip and he said yes. So I said No, I reserved a 90 min. massage for $85.00. He said he gave me two hours. So we went back and forth for a bit when the lady owner came out and pointing at the price board on the wall and trying to say in part english and part other language that yes it would be $120.00 and that is the correct price. She was pointing to a separate foot massage. I was like oh no you dont. I never asked for the two hours, i did not reserve two hours, I never changed my reservation to two hour massage. This is not ethical or good business. I am paying what I reserved for. $85.00 plus a $15.00 tip.
