First, I thought to myself I wouldn't be able to be in a tank. Fortunately, it was an open space. The smell of Epson salt is strong, but I got use to it and it wasn't overpowering. With the ear plugs in, I could hear the traffic faintly. But the rest of my body was jello in the best possible way. It's an hour long of float and the time passes by so fast. I love the option they have for light (low blue light) in case complete darkness is a problem. I used it once to ground myself. Lastly, the water fountain shower after with tee tree and eucalyptus wash shampoo/conditioners and lotions provided at the end wrap up the whole experience. Sauna was ready to go and just needed to add steam to get it roaring. The little 15 minute sand dial partially worked and needed some assistance at time. 50* water for the cold plunge was refreshing. I did it three times during my session, first time was for a minute, second time I was more mentally prepared and worked on my breathing which allowed me a five minute session, last time two and a half minutes as I was done with it The massage was zen. When it comes to a massage therapist's routine, Joanna kept me at bay and relaxed to where I couldn't move I was so relaxed. Takes a lot for me to mentally check out too and I was right on the cusp. Cardio machines are abundant but the free weights area is small, mats are located upstairs huh, next to more cardio machines.
