I was sad to find out they got rid of the veggie sandwhich and no longer carry mushrooms or peppers all together. We ordered 2 salads, the holy mac, and a order of lemon pepper waffle fries- our meal took about 25-30 minutes to be delivered which was odd being as it was salads. also it's a bummer when ordering a salad with no chicken the price is still the same. anywho, fries arrived room temp- which the server was quick to put in a fresh order for us . We stopped eating at Pluckers years ago because the service, regardless of location, was comically bad - consistently. We went today for the first time in like 10 years and sat on the patio. Kamari was our server and he was AWESOME. He was helpful, and just a fantastic server. We even ended up signing up for the membership thing which means we will be back often enough! Best wing bar in town you can't beat the ambience, all the flatscreens, the noise & conformity of Texas Longhorns in one area. Add the best wings in town and ice cold beer I'm in heaven. Probably explains why I've been coming here for the last seven years and never made a review until now. Over the years, the prices have gone up a 15 wing combo with a side I remember was $24 and now it's $29. In my opinion, it's not worth $29 for 15 wings and a side of fries or tots that cost I would assume sense on a dollar. But because the wing flavors are so hard to find and when you eat, salty tangy wings, you need ice, cold beer, and pluckers has it. All-time favorite ice cold Miller light mixed with the different flavors incredible. Gotta try the ranch wings, it has a deep ranch dry flavor, which keeps the wings, moist and crispy. I love the mild flavor of the ranch. The next flavor I recommend is vampire killer, it's a garlic teriyaki type of flavor I would try to describe, very strong garlic smell. The next flavor I recommend is maple chipotle, it's a mix of like a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce with a hint of hickory smoke at the end. The pluckers nachos have a strong funky blue cheese sauce, which I really like mixed with the salty chips and the crushed bacon. Great nachos because it has fresh chopped vegetables on top with some sprinkled shredded cheese so one bite to have all the notes it sings in your mouth. A must 1000%. I stopped in to place a to-go order, figuring between baseball and World Cup, they'd be packed, but there were actually seats at the bar. I got the boneless tenders, which are always amazing, and some fried pickles as an appetizer. The food was ready quickly, and was delicious. Pluckers needs to make it a point to train the staff to share that if you have parked at the Pawnshops parking lot YOU WILL BE TOWED!!! The hostess said we have a sign on the door as I look back the door was being opened by a person exiting the restaurant NOT EVERYONE can read it if the door is opening at the same time you are coming in. The announcement started until I guess someone said about being towed! Paid $321.47 to get my car out... FYI PARK AT ACADEMY OR THE BANKE PARKING LOT those towing trucks are watching and Pluckers is well aware this is happening and aren't sharing the information properly with their customers not even as courtesy! read more

We had a great experience here. On Tuesdays kids eat free and the place was packed. I especially love that giving the kids an opportunity to dine without breaking the bank. We were seated immediately and out lovely server came over and took our drink orders quickly. The place was packed but it wasn't overwhelming. There are TVs everywhere so you have a lot of options to watch. They were out of chocolate milk so she made my daughter some. That was very thoughtful of her! My kids had the corn dog and apple sauce and the buffalo bites with fries. I had the boneless wing basket with the Cajun ranch and hot lemon pepper. Both flavors were good and the meal overall was filling. This will probably become one of our go tos because the kids loved it so much! read more

Pluckers isn't the same anymore. They must have changed their wing supplier because their wings are now overly and unnaturally large. The wings were so chewy and disgusting. The sauce is good as usual but if you're going to resort to the same wing quality like BW3 or Wingstop, what's the point then? read more

It was as if they forgot to assign anyone to my table. So, I waited and watched other people come in and receive their drinks while I just sat there with my menu closed waiting. The pluckers upgrade is remarkable. It has been several years since I had visited this pluckers restaurant. They have re-organized the dining area with TVs along all the walls so you can watch all your favorite sports and events. Me and my friend went here for lunch and we were very surprised. The white staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had the tea that was freshly made that day. We also had the appetizers of the fried pickles spears. They were very good. They came out hot with the dipping sauce and we enjoyed them very much . I typically do not like fried speared pickles but these were very tasty. We ordered the boneless chicken wings, which were actually a whole chicken breast cut in half and deep fried like a chicken wing. They were very large and very tasty. We had the lunch portion with an amazing salad. The salad came out on a cold chilled bowl with the salad neatly arranged on top. We had ranch dressing on the side, and it was quite lovely. When the chicken breast came out, they were very hot with the dipping sauce that was very good. I was amazed at how large they wore and how good they tasted. They were the dried Parmesan chicken rub, and it was very very good two pieces of the boneless chicken breast and a salad was very filling, and we actually took some home . Once again, the ambience of the restaurant was very nice. We were able to have a conversation, even though it was packed and we could hear each other talk. It was not loud and noisy. At first, things seemed a little hectic when we arrived, but that quickly changed. We were helped by two servers, one of whom was in training and they both did a fantastic job. They constantly checked in, made sure we had everything we needed, and kept things running smoothly. This trip however there was a line of 5-6 people waiting to pick up our respective orders while 2 of the three staff simply directed people to the line without any offer to help their colleague. When I finally arrived at the front of the line it was apparent that my meal had long since been ready and increased my annoyance at watching 2 additional staff gab and goof off while the one person handling take out was in the weeds. I normally don't go to this location because I've had the same bad experience when I go but my god tonight took the cake. Got my drink order wrong twice. Not only mine but my friend waited forever for her Pluckers Colada only to be told almost 40 min later machine wasn't working. My other friend's Psychedelic Frog turned brown. Like we could not enjoy our visit or food because we were not properly waited on by our server at all. While I appreciate the manager for taking care of us at the end , someone needs to step up and clean house. We expected better than what we got tonight. read more

I've been to every Pluckers location in Austin and even SA and DTX, but this one in RR has horrible service. The food didn't disappoint as usual. But crappy service ruins the whole experience honestly. The hosts all have RBF. The sign-in and text feature doesn't work well. We got a text to see the host for our table- and the host told us twice they were cleaning our table (over a period of 15 mins to clean a table). Turns out that was a lie- they gave us the table people were still dining at when we got the text that our table was ready. Once we sat to order- our food took almost 25 mins to come out and it arrived WITH our appetizer. Not okay. Overall just a crappy experience there. read more
