I needed a last-minute reservation somewhere we could grab food, drinks, and watch the Longhorns game, and found Bar Louie. When we arrived, I was super surprised to see it's actually attached to the Embassy Suites. It has its own entrance and accessible parking. The hostess was great and seated us right away, and we totally lucked out with a table right in front of a TV. It's a very accessible place for a wheelchair, with plenty of room to get around. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is fun and laid-back, with local celebrity murals, a live band, and even a disco dance floor![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is great for all sizes including large groups. There was a bachelorette party going on. They were having so much fun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the BLT chopped salad, my husband went for the pepperoni flatbread, and for dessert we ordered the chocolate cake and strawberry cheesecake (sauce on the side). Everything was pretty tasty, especially for bar food. They have a full bar and the beer on tap was cold. Our waitress (wish I could remember her name) was fantastic, checking on us often without hovering. We asked her to change the channel to the game, and she was very accommodating. By 8 p.m. most tables were taken, so definitely make a reservation if you don't want to risk it. Between the good food, great service, and a Longhorns win, I'd say it was a good night out!

Immediately welcomed at the bar by the servers who introduced themselves and the rest of the crew. The bar has made a name for itself on their wonderful martinis of which my friend and I tried. We can vouch for their deliciousness! The appetizers are full-sized and fresh and tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We didn't stay this time for the live music but we will be back![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Stopped in after checking out Captain America BNW. [[HIGHLIGHT]]BEAUTIFUL restaurant. The vibe and atmosphere was elegant casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was prompt and checked on us often. We jumped into the menu with the spinach artichoke dip and a round of Shirley temples. I partook of a big boy drink in the form of a Long Island ice tea. The Bean gave their version of the Philly cheese steak a try. I opted for the salmon sliders while our son tempered the all night burger. Out daughter played it safe with the chicken tenders. The appetizer was a good start. Gave signs of promise. But we found the entrees wanting. The cheese steak and salmon sliders were bland, with no seasoning. I would assume a culinary safety measure, however these dishes were nothing to write home about. Chicken tenders were chicken tenders. Nothing out the ordinary. The all night burger was cooked well but, again, no seasoning. The Long Island was more tea than Long Island. Service was great and we enjoyed the visit. But far as food goes, unimpressive.

Great spot, me and the wife heard about this spot a while ago but had never came. We've been here now a few time and every time we've had a great experience. Chicken wing are a must along with the tomato soup with sandwich. Join the rewards its pretty good actually and come during happy hour. Forgot to take pictures of food because we ate it all. Will come back for sure!

Sat at the bar for dinner one night and it was pretty busy. Bar was full and still got good service. I got a salad and pretzel bites. Best chain pretzels and cheese I've had in a while Salad hit the spot

Checked out happy hour here. I was surprised how large the bar area was. It's a very nice space. Our bartender was Stephanie and she filled us in on the specials & entertainment on certain nights. We enjoyed $7 martinis - Diva for me & The Dirty for my friend. We also had a couple of half-priced apps - the dip trio and a flatbread pizza. I'll return for the yummy martinis.

The Entertainment: 10/10. They sounded AMAZING and really engaged the crowd. It was fun seeing people of all ages dancing on the dance floor My Food and Drink: Not 10/10. Drink: I got the Strawberry Lemonade Sangria and I was catfished. There was nothing lemonade(y) or sangria(ri) about it. It tasted like a sparkling water or a seltzer. Very disappointing. Food: My flatbread was pretty good, and I appreciated the portion size. The only thing that threw me off was the cheese. Something was off putting - which is unfortunate since pizzas are 80% cheese. Overall, I would definitely go back because I had such a fun time. I would just order something completely different

Bar Louie is convenient and they have great drink options on happy hour. I'm not a fan of the food but I typically don't come with the expectations of a great meal. 6 drinks and 4 appetizers for $70 yep I'll take it. The server was very attentive, which is always a plus. Yep I'll be back.

We stopped here for brunch on Sunday as we were big fans of Bar Louie when we lived in St Louis. This location is in the Embassy Suites, although it has its own entrance and is actually very well separated from the hotel. We had to ask for the brunch menu, even though it was served till 3 and it was only 12:30. The food was very good, and the tots were as amazing as we remembered. I had the bacon and egg flatbread, which was drizzled with ranch and quite good. The flatbread was well baked and crispy, but still soft and chewy. My spouse had the wings and burger sliders-he had ordered them without cheese but something must have gotten mixed up bc they came out with cheese. We were hungry enough that we just scraped the cheese off as best we could rather than send it back. The kids had a pepperoni flatbread pizza and chicken tenders. Very good sized portions for kid's meals. We made reservations online as we weren't sure if it would be crowded-but at the time we went we didn't need them. Lots of empty tables available, and lots of tvs showing the various football games-a great space to eat and watch the game!

This has become one of my regular hangouts. You may be hesitant because it's in a hotel, but don't be. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bar Louie is the perfect spot in Round Rock to listen to fun bands, eat good food, and have a drink or two.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Don't worry, if you don't wanna sit down, they have a really fun dance floor where you can groove out all night long![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've never had a bad time at bar Louie or bad service. I love this place.

I've been to Bar Louie twice so far, both times during happy hours on Tuesdays (when burgers are half price). Both times, I was in a group with others who'd been there before. Both times, we had the same waitperson. The food tasted great both times, but I could tell on Wednesdays that I'd consumed lots of sodium the day before. Bar Louie is a restaurant chain (it calls itself a gastropub) based in Texas. In Round Rock, it's located in the Embassy Suites hotel on Mays St. between University Blvd. and Westinghouse Rd., and has a prominent exterior entrance off Bass Pro Drive. Happy Hours run until 7 pm daily, and the close-in parking spaces can fill up by 5 pm. There are reduced prices on a large selection of food and beverage items during happy hours. The place can get noisy at times, between the ambient music (which can include live entertainment some evenings), people talking, and the live surfaces. Everything I've eaten at Bar Louie, from "bar bites" to burgers, has been long on flavor, with interesting and good combinations of ingredients. Burgers are cooked to order (although my first was somewhat undercooked), and a side of fries or tater tots is included, packed into a cup. For vegetarians, there's the Impossible Burger (as well as other vegetarian fare). But there is much more available besides burgers. There are loaded flatbreads, wings, sandwiches, and entrees. There's a great selection of craft beers and cocktails, too. Service is good, even though the waitstaff seems very busy. There's a variety of seating options, including booths that seat up to 5, low and high tables, and the bar area. Bar Louie has a "Louie Nation" app that rewards its customers with points that may be used as credit towards future food purchases. If you join this loyalty program, be sure to get a paper receipt and scan the QR code to get credit for your purchases. We will definitely return to Bar Louie to try menu items other than bar bites and burgers. I'm guessing it'll all taste good.

I went to the bar and ordered (no wait staff at the tables). I ordered the Fish-n-Chips w/ a Pearl Snap, my date had the Biggy BBQ Mac Burger with a Dragon Fruit Daiquiri. For the positives: our drinks were very good, hard to mess up a draught beer, but it was not flat & just cold enough. She absolutely loved the daiquiri, side note- she's with me so standards aren't super high. Bar staff were super helpful and attentive, patio was very chill and secluded from the other spots surrounding it. The bathroom was clean and didn't smell like vomit. Negatives: My fish and chips were below expectations. Their grease was entirely too hot and it was flash fried causing the batter to be too crispy and the fish was piping hot. The selection of cod was not good either most of the pieces were blackened meat and the chips were crinkle cut fries, a letdown. I wasn't expecting a London level plate but it was a very sad and lonely one. Her burger was loaded with BBQ sauce and her mac-n-cheese balls were fried similarly causing the same burnt batter. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at a chain beer joint, looking at you Fox and Hound, but it wasn't close to the best. The Flying Saucer has a very good bar style fish and chips plate that costs about the same but they pay attention to the details that make it better. Overall I would not recommend and I will not be going back but in a pinch it won't make you sick.

At the time this establishment was built, we lived nearby and were extremely excited to have an Irish option so close. We've been several times and enjoy ourselves a lot. Their menu is full of good appetizers that pair well with their brews, which is what they do really well. Ordered the Grumpy Old Fashioned and another drink. But the old fashioned had me blown away. Forget…read morethe other drink... If that's what grumpy tastes like, sign me up. Rich. Smooth. That hint of chocolate bitterness sneaking in like it has secrets it's not ready to share. Strong, confident, and completely unbothered -- the kind of drink that doesn't raise its voice because it doesn't have to. No unnecessary frills. No overcomplicated theatrics. Grumpy never tasted so good -- and I wouldn't mind getting into trouble with it again. The bar itself? Classy without being stuffy. The kind of place where you can show up dressed up or dressed down and still feel like you belong. Dim lighting, great vibe, zero pretension. I'll absolutely be back, service was stellar. The place is narrow and can get loud. We were still able to talk at our table. The food menu is somewhat small. There are options for most tastes. I had the chicken Caesar. It was excellent and I highly recommend it. My wife had the fish and chips and was very happy with it. I do recommend finishing with the sticky toffee pudding. It was a great finish to the meal. Lots of options for cocktails and beers as well. Looking forward to going back
