Immediately welcomed at the bar by the servers who introduced themselves and the rest of the crew. The bar has made a name for itself on their wonderful martinis of which my friend and I tried. We can vouch for their deliciousness! The appetizers are full-sized and fresh and tasty. We didn't stay this time for the live music but we will be back!

I needed a last-minute reservation somewhere we could grab food, drinks, and watch the Longhorns game, and found Bar Louie. When we arrived, I was super surprised to see it's actually attached to the Embassy Suites. It has its own entrance and accessible parking. The hostess was great and seated us right away, and we totally lucked out with a table right in front of a TV. It's a very accessible place for a wheelchair, with plenty of room to get around. The vibe is fun and laid-back, with local celebrity murals, a live band, and even a disco dance floor! This place is great for all sizes including large groups. There was a bachelorette party going on. They were having so much fun! I ordered the BLT chopped salad, my husband went for the pepperoni flatbread, and for dessert we ordered the chocolate cake and strawberry cheesecake (sauce on the side). Everything was pretty tasty, especially for bar food. They have a full bar and the beer on tap was cold. Our waitress (wish I could remember her name) was fantastic, checking on us often without hovering. We asked her to change the channel to the game, and she was very accommodating. By 8 p.m. most tables were taken, so definitely make a reservation if you don't want to risk it. Between the good food, great service, and a Longhorns win, I'd say it was a good night out!

Stopped in after checking out Captain America BNW. BEAUTIFUL restaurant. The vibe and atmosphere was elegant casual. Our waitress was prompt and checked on us often. We jumped into the menu with the spinach artichoke dip and a round of Shirley temples. I partook of a big boy drink in the form of a Long Island ice tea. The Bean gave their version of the Philly cheese steak a try. I opted for the salmon sliders while our son tempered the all night burger. Out daughter played it safe with the chicken tenders. The appetizer was a good start. Gave signs of promise. But we found the entrees wanting. The cheese steak and salmon sliders were bland, with no seasoning. I would assume a culinary safety measure, however these dishes were nothing to write home about. Chicken tenders were chicken tenders. Nothing out the ordinary. The all night burger was cooked well but, again, no seasoning. The Long Island was more tea than Long Island. Service was great and we enjoyed the visit. But far as food goes, unimpressive.

Great spot, me and the wife heard about this spot a while ago but had never came. We've been here now a few time and every time we've had a great experience. Chicken wing are a must along with the tomato soup with sandwich. Join the rewards its pretty good actually and come during happy hour. Forgot to take pictures of food because we ate it all. Will come back for sure!

The food and atmosphere at Bar Louie is great, but the service is top-notch! Especially the sweetest and most genuine server I know...Mikayla! If you visit there, ask for her section and you will be pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it!

Sat at the bar for dinner one night and it was pretty busy. Bar was full and still got good service. I got a salad and pretzel bites. Best chain pretzels and cheese I've had in a while Salad hit the spot

Checked out happy hour here. I was surprised how large the bar area was. It's a very nice space. Our bartender was Stephanie and she filled us in on the specials & entertainment on certain nights. We enjoyed $7 martinis - Diva for me & The Dirty for my friend. We also had a couple of half-priced apps - the dip trio and a flatbread pizza. I'll return for the yummy martinis.

The Entertainment: 10/10. They sounded AMAZING and really engaged the crowd. It was fun seeing people of all ages dancing on the dance floor My Food and Drink: Not 10/10. Drink: I got the Strawberry Lemonade Sangria and I was catfished. There was nothing lemonade(y) or sangria(ri) about it. It tasted like a sparkling water or a seltzer. Very disappointing. Food: My flatbread was pretty good, and I appreciated the portion size. The only thing that threw me off was the cheese. Something was off putting - which is unfortunate since pizzas are 80% cheese. Overall, I would definitely go back because I had such a fun time. I would just order something completely different

Bar Louie is convenient and they have great drink options on happy hour. I'm not a fan of the food but I typically don't come with the expectations of a great meal. 6 drinks and 4 appetizers for $70 yep I'll take it. The server was very attentive, which is always a plus. Yep I'll be back.

We stopped here for brunch on Sunday as we were big fans of Bar Louie when we lived in St Louis. This location is in the Embassy Suites, although it has its own entrance and is actually very well separated from the hotel. We had to ask for the brunch menu, even though it was served till 3 and it was only 12:30. The food was very good, and the tots were as amazing as we remembered. I had the bacon and egg flatbread, which was drizzled with ranch and quite good. The flatbread was well baked and crispy, but still soft and chewy. My spouse had the wings and burger sliders-he had ordered them without cheese but something must have gotten mixed up bc they came out with cheese. We were hungry enough that we just scraped the cheese off as best we could rather than send it back. The kids had a pepperoni flatbread pizza and chicken tenders. Very good sized portions for kid's meals. We made reservations online as we weren't sure if it would be crowded-but at the time we went we didn't need them. Lots of empty tables available, and lots of tvs showing the various football games-a great space to eat and watch the game!

I order the yard bird. it was an oven baked chicken with veggies. good, but not worth $22. I could've made it at home. everyone else at the table basically ordered pancakes with eggs or French toast because the menu was literally that limited, there was no "oo I want to try that!" moment. The service was great as we were a big party. The staff kept coming to our table to apologize on the long wait times; which was confusing because there was barely anyone in the restaurant... but the parking lot was full? where were all of those people? I don't know. the experience wasn't bad but, it didn't hold up to the standard of whiskey cake that I'm used to. especially for $66. the Katy location was so good, it even smelled like whiskey cake. and I remembered this restaurant brand having more culinary forward items like their blue cheese chips during happy hour. (which i lovedddd) If I'm ever out in Round Rock again, I may give it another try, but it won't be for brunch.

They are NOT a virtual kitchen - and it is just as well that they are not a virtual kitchen. They make it sound like Chronic Fries is borrowing space from Urban Chicken. Chronic Fries is not "borrowing space" from Urban Chicken. The two institutions are one and the same. The menu for one is printed on the back of the menu for other. They may have a complicated ownership structure - But that does not get around the fact that this is simply a fast food restaurant where you can order both chicken and fries. * * * I don't see why Chronic Fries would want to be a virtual kitchen. Virtual kitchens are awful antiseptic places where there is no place to sit down. In a virtual kitchen, you get your food from a numbered box. In a virtual kitchen, there is screen against a wall from which you order. Otherwise, you use your phone. It takes effort to make contact with a human being. Virtual Kitchens are total THX 1138. Virtual kitchens s**k. * * * Chronic Fries/Urban Chicken is a nifty place for a fast food restaurant. They have tons of seating both indoors and outdoors. The crowd is heavily college-age which may or may not be collegiate. The crowd is diverse the way Round Rock is diverse. The crowd has a lot of church kids the way Round Rock has a lot of church kids. My male companion and I were the oldest people in the place. Virtual kitchens don't have crowds - let alone young ones. * * * The fries are super-duper. (Okay, for a college aged place, I probably should have used a term less dated than "super-duper".) For the maximum french fry bliss experience, get any version with chicken on top. Some versions give you chicken automatically. All versions let you order chicken on top as an add-on. Urban Chicken does a good chicken And what goes on your French Fries will be top notch. We got three kinds of fries. The standout was the BBQ Mac and Cheese Fries. Hot Cheetos Fries were just what they sound like. The sides that don't have much Hot Cheetos on them are not all that interesting. You get to the part with industrial quantities of ground up Hot Cheetos on top and, Suddenly things start to go live action. Plain macaroni and cheese fries are not that exciting by themselves. But they sell about half a dozen sauces to put on top of your macaroni and cheese fries. Some of those look like they could make a real compelling argument That they belong on your fries If your toppings are not exotic enough already. * * * Just for the record, they also run a soft-serve operation. That soft-serve operation offers milk shakes as a possible beverage. Thumbs up on the soft serve milk shakes. Their version of an Oreo Milkshake has about a truckload of Oreo crumbs dumped on top. On a milkshake that means that the crumbs end up all on the bottom with your maraschino cherry. Why oh why, in the 21st century, do we still have to put up with maraschino cherries? Why oh why, in the 20th century, the 19th century, the 18th century or any century that you can possibly think of, do we still have to put up with maraschino cherries? The church kids eating at the various tables around you can probably explain to you that because Eve ate the Apple in the Garden of Eden - and Adam ate the apple too - that they were thrown out of the Garden of Eden - and forced to have maraschino cherries on top of their desserts. God's love and the Forgiveness of Jesus Christ gives you the really good Oreo Milkshake that surrounds that maraschino cherry. I have no idea if that theology is sound ... But the Oreo milkshake is objectively good And the difficulty of sucking up those Oreo crumbs with your straw Is the exact equivalent of attaining heaven merely by the force of good works. * * * First rate fries. First rate toppings. First rate drinks. A corporate office with an identity problem. And religious people to talk to in the seats If the fries inspire you to seek a higher way. * * * What's not to like? (Outside of the identity problem.)

First seating for a large family was a small booth, so we asked to be seated at a bigger table. Second seating in the back of the restaurant close to the bar and kitchen. Initially, our waitress seemed expedient and friendly. Took our drink and meal orders and brought drinks out quickly. First round of drinks were fine.. Appetizers were mozzarella sticks and spinach and artichoke dip. Entrees were a bacon cheeseburger, baby back ribs with a loaded baked potato and broccoli cheese soup, chicken parm, beef dip sandwich, and a 10 oz ribeye for me. Order made and we waited. While waited we watched for servers standby and talk about random cartoons; one server was loudly having a conversation, with himself; bartenders seemed disengaged at times from the patrons. But as the bar filled in they seemed to liven up. I mention the servers talking only as a reference to our food. One of the servers being our own. Waited for our table for what seemed like 30+ minutes.. we didn't get a table until 745pm.. and only after we asked the front desk person a couple times.. we got to table and waited more. We didn't get to order and receive our food (Caesar salad) until 8pm.. kid ordered mini corn dogs+fruit, I ordered crispy Korean style chicken sandwich, and a Sante Fe Salad. The black cherry soda was out today also.. so we ordered 2 root beers instead. The food was just okay. They used to shave their parmesan cheese for the Caesar Salad.. but not anymore. Also the food took A LOOONG time to come out despite what we ordered.. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt in that their slow service was caused by kids coming in for their prom dinner etcetc.. this time's experience wasn't the greatest...
