9/10 would eat again Went to Pluckers Wing Bar and tried the 10-piece wings with spicy lemon pepper and spicy garlic Parmesan. Flavor-wise, they did not disappoint. Both sauces had great taste and were packed with seasoning. The spicy lemon pepper had a nice kick, and the spicy garlic Parmesan was rich, savory, and super flavorful. Definitely solid sauce choices. My only downside was the wing size and portion. The wings were on the smaller side, and even with 10 pieces, I didn't feel fully satisfied afterward. If you're really hungry, you might want to go with a larger portion or add a side. Overall, great flavor and good quality, just wish the wings were a bit bigger or more filling. read more

Thanks to the Spurs giving out coupons for free wings, my husband and I decided to give Pluckers a try. Our daughter went with us and she had been to one before and knew what to expect. When I put us on the wait list before leaving my house on a Saturday night, it said the wait time was 30 to 45 minutes. We got there and waited another 15 minutes before we were seated. The atmosphere was very loud and a bit rowdy. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating of us being first timers. This place clearly gets very busy on a Saturday night, but we did not have to wait long for the food to arrive. I had the BBQ chicken salad and some lemon wings. Both were pretty good. I tried some of my daughter's waffle fries and they were very good. The sweet teas was also really good. FYI: They charge for every extra small dressing you get, so keep that in mind. Definetly worth the drive from New Braunfels. We've been to the San Marcos one before, but the Mrs. Was not a fan of that location, however the Selma location has a completly different vibe. Good food good service Lorena did awesome as our server. Manager Xavier even came to our table and said "I'm here if y'all need anything" which apparantly did not apply to a side a ranch, because there we sat ranchless until Lorena came and got us. Went here for some cold ones to watch a game yesterday and it was surprisingly not packed this time which was great. we chose to sit at the bar and we had a nice ice cold Jüngling, a nice ice cold love Street and ended our evening with two mega margaritas. The atmosphere was great and the bartender was super sweet. We enjoyed our little conversation we had with her. We arrived about 6:30 and sat at the bar. I ordered 10 wings with 2 flavors and my husband ordered the cheeseburger. It took quite a while for the food to arrive. Half of my wings had the wrong sauce. My husband's waffle fries were cold. When he started eating his burger, it vey salty and inedible. It took us a while to get some assistance. We finally had them redo our food to go. They comped the burger and redid the burger, fries and 5 wings. We got it to go at that point. Sevice was really good, we had a large party and they were very accommodating to our party. It's a great place to watch the game. Plenty of TVs around. Staff super friendly and always cleaning up after a table. Bathrooms are clean. Plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors. No smoking 15 feet from the doors. So, if you want to smoke a cigar, you need to smoke in the parking lot. Not my favorite thing to do, but if you find a good spot, you can probably still see the games. Their mango habanero wings are by far THE BEST FLAVOR! Their boneless wings are HUGE and their bone in are good size ! I've been here a lot of time but this time I went with a huge group of people (around 21 people) and the staff WAS SO NICE AND SWEET! Ordered the Monster Boneless Wings with Dr Pepper sauce using their mobile app. Picked up the wings from the restore and realized when I got home that it wasn't Dr Pepper. Called the restaurant told them the sauce was wrong. This was the second time this has happened to me using their mobile app. I'm not going back to get a new set of wings. I'm just not gonna use this location anymore cause they don't know how to follow simple directions in an online order. After you have Pluckers Jumbo Wings, I don't think you will ever want to have wings anywhere else. I have only had the lemon pepper ones. They are so good that I just do not want to try another seasoning or sauce. The boneless wings are HUGE!! Sometimes I get the salad with the apple cider dressing. So, so good! Other times I may get the tater tots or fries. Their food is consistently good. I will say it is easier for us to get into the Selma location vs the San Marcos location but I think that is because San Marcos is a college town. Just went for lunch with my daughter ,1st time there ,hamburger was ok nothing to brag about though meat tasted good ,tater tots were not crispy at all,Salad with blue cheese was nice lots of blu cheese and bacon crumbles ,but the reason for 5 stars goes to the waiter we had Kason and absolute gem of a waiter ,couldn't of been more helpful and fast on serving when I needed some garlic Parmesan sauce he was back in a heart beat ,the food was a 3 in my opinion but honestly the waiter was a 5 ++++ in our book .I do reccomend that you get a few t.v.
