I really enjoy coming here to sing karaoke with my coworkers on Friday nights. It's a great way to unwind after a long week of work. I do think it is a bit pricey but if you make it before 7 pm the price is not too bad for two hours of karaoke. The food and drinks are expensive so I suggest eating elsewhere. However, I have tasted the sushi and the bao buns and the food has always tasted very good. The employees are very accommodating and will try their best to resolve any technical issues you may encounter. During our last visit we did experience a couple issues and Jeff was very attentive and was quick to resolve every single issue. It was a bit inconvenient and he was understanding. I must say, it's very rare to find a place that offers private karaoke rooms in South Florida so it's nice to see a trendy/non-shady establishment pop up. It was a fun time and my party enjoyed themselves and I'll recommend it to others but it did come with some drawbacks...they still have some kinks in their process. First impressions - nice lobby with a bar and very vibey decor with DJ out front but it took a while to check-in which took time away from our reservation (mind you, we were already running late). Personally, I think the price is a little steep if you get there later--they won't prorate it. The price is for 3 hours but if you get there later than 12am then you're still paying the same price since they close at 2am and you won't get your full 3 hours. So once we finally got into our room, I felt like they gave too long of a run down of everything (again, more time lost). There was an ipad which you could choose your songs, you could also adjust the temp and the lighting which was cool. Song selection was sort of lacking and instead of being able to order food from the ordering option on the ipad (like the karaoke rooms in Japan), you have to pick up the phone and dial 0 every time you want something. Food and drinks were decent and had a good selection. My qualm was that we felt inclined to have to stop singing every time someone did come in to check on us because they would be talking about something and we couldn't listen to what they were explaining (once again, more time lost), so I think that happened about 4 times which was sort of inconvenient. Ultimately, we had a good time but I would have liked less interruptions, a smoother check-in, and prorated price if you're not getting your full 3 hours. read more

A lot of space, the place looks so good, food was great, DJ was super, we had a private outdoor sitting for whoever wanted to rest outside for a bit, great bartender. I called and booked a private room for my friends and I. I gave them my card number and they charged me for a deposit. I ended up having to cancel for personal reasons so I called back 2 hours later to let them know. I asked for my deposit back and they refused. They said that I could not have it back because I need to have canceled within 48hrs. The person on the phone never mentioned this. I would have been hesitant to give them a deposit was I made aware of this. When I said this to the guy on the phone, he was very dismissive and said "yea well I'll talk to the staff but I still can't give you the deposit back." This place is so much fun. I have been to many karaoke bars, but this one takes the cake! The private rooms are clean and I was able to invite 25 friends and it still thought it was roomy. They have a great variety of music, from rock 'n' roll to country to rap. They also have a server come in and out to take your order, which is great so you don't have to leave the fun to go and place orders. They even gave us complementary shots to start up the party. It's a great fun exciting atmosphere when you're looking to do something different. I will definitely go back and the prices are reasonable. I just had a birthday celebration there on May 1 and could not have been more pleased with how every thing turned out. I booked the largest room (Room 1) with an open bar, food package, our own bartender and DJ. My idea was basically to give my guests a VIP experience and the event planner, Shani, was very helpful in arranging everything for me beforehand so that my guests and I only had to show up and drink and eat for 3 hours. Our assigned DJ, Devon, was also a hit with the crowd and seamlessly integrated karaoke with his sets so that the group was on the dance floor for most of the night as opposed to just sitting and listening to whoever was performing karaoke at any given time. Everyone who attended keeps asking me when we're going back and I will definitely be booking future events at this venue. read more

First time here but had been hearing about it for months. The cocktails were good although expensive. The fries were amazing! The owners cane by and checked on us multiple times. They also brought shots to our room twice. Overall they care about customer service and making sure you keep coming back. It's definitely more on the expensive side of things that you can do on a Saturday night but the service was pretty great. Man this place is beyond amazing and the food is the final piece!! Too many places like this serve average food and rely on their entertainment value, but not PlugIn! We used them for a 60 person event in room 18 and it could not have gone better. DJ was outstanding, in-room bar was ridiculously convenient, the catering staff was timely with almost all requests, and they made the night as easy as possible for us as hosts of the event. It's important to call out two things specifically though: 1) Samantha from sales/event planning made our lives very easy, and 2) the chef at PlugIn is just amazing. Okay, this was probably one of the funnest places I have been to in a while! We came Thursday night at 9:30, we had made reservations for 5. For $20 each, you get your own karaoke room, where you can control the lighting AC etc. It is super private, and no one bothers you unless you call the waitress that is assigned to you. The prices are super affordable; they have Pinot Grigio bottles for $28, and since we were 5, we got three and it was more affordable than getting individual drinks. The food was super yummy. We had the baked Mac n cheese, dragon roll, tostones topped with chicken, and truffle fries. Our waitress was super nice as well as the guy who brought our food in, even gave us a round of shots on the house! The song selection is pretty decent, a little outdated, but you'll find most classic karaoke songs. We were there for two hours and felt like it wasn't enough because we were truly having so much fun. Can't wait to come back! read more

Had my birthday celebration at this establishment. Cute place the food was good. We had a horrible experience when we received our bill at the end. The bill said $500 when we told the waitress they made a mistake she fixed the bill and it was wrong again. After the third time the bill finally made sense. The next morning I get a call from my friend saying they charged her card for $500!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed. I feel like they know people will be drunk and not notice their bills. Place won't last long if they keep doing this to people and over charging for no reason. I went here for my birthday last week and had a great time. However, two of my friends went in first to check In at 4:30 (my start time) and then everyone else arrived minutes later. When I arrived, the karaoke system wasn't set up because they were "waiting for me to arrive" even though there were party guests ALREADY in the room. They took about 15 minutes to fix their technical issues, during which, they did not apologize once for the wait or the problems. Afterwards, we were all supposed to pay $24 each and we ended up paying $30 each with no explanation. The song selections were bleak, the system was lagging, the drinks were WAY overpriced and the overall customer service was awful. I won't be going back. It's a fun place to hang out with friends and family but it's way too overpriced. We came on a Saturday night and it was $45 per person for 3 hours, we had a reservation at 9pm but showed up at 9:30 and they ended the time at 12. So if you make a reservation be on time since they start charging you regardless. The drinks are also expensive, $12 was the cheapest drink it's not like we're in Brickell. They do have ladies night on Thursdays (women sing for free) so that's the only time I'll ever come again. read more
