Had them install a new hot water heater and water filtration system. Wasn't even made aware that a new pipe would be installed outside my house and it's a total eyesore. I feel like if a contractor is going to change the appearance of the exterior of the home they should walk through such things in the bidding process. Worse still, the craftsmanship looks like it was done by someone on their first day of high school shop class. Even have a hole they drilled and didn't use as you can seen in the pictures. Also, the water filter system was installed about 50 feet from the nearest outlet, so the just ran an extension cord lying in the dirt which seems like a very unsafe way to install given once rains come there is a live connection in the dirt. Not sure why they didn't find a more permanent solution. When I asked they said we don't do that, get an electrician. Which is totally appropriate but they should have explained this when bidding so I could understand the actual install would include additional costs. Google reviews were outstanding for this company, maybe I'm just unlucky. But I've got $$$ in repairs to cleanup the mess. read more

Professional, fair rates and they fixed the problem. I am so happy to have found a reliable plumbing service where I don't feel taken advantage of (because I know nothing about plumbing). The guys that came to my house told me they don't work on commission, and it was obvious, and I'm so much more comfortable with that. Initially I got an estimate from Cummings who quoted me over $400 to fix a component in my toilet tank! I suspected this wasn't right, as I paid less than $400 for the entire toilet 10 years ago. My suspicion was confirmed after I texted them about the high estimate and no one even bothered to get back to me. This was just one of a few things that needed fixing and Plumber of Tucson charged me less than half what Cummings quoted for the toilet and 3 other issues that needed to be fixed. Really great company. We had a massive water/sewage leak, that was supposed to be a one day job. It turned into 2 days as it was much more extensive than we thought. They did an amazing job, repaired and re-piped. We also needed a new water heater replacement. Pricing was great, better than Home Depot's water heater replacement service. This company is SO AMAZING!!! VERY REASONABLE, and so good at what they do!! We used them a few years ago, and were thrilled with the results then. Our "clean out" was under the patio, house built in 1956. Had other companies that bid $5000-$6000, wanted to tear up the patio, and the price didn't include putting it back the way it was.... Plumber Of Tucson, came in WELL UNDER HALF the price, pointed out that the patio did NOT need to be torn up, and gave us a clean out just beyond the patio. It was BRILLIANT!!!! (that was 3 years ago) so Tuesday we discovered our master shower had backed up after doing laundry, thought we had the problem solved, but nope, so we called PLUMBER OF TUCSON, they were all booked up and they SQUEEZED US IN, at the END of their very long day in the dark, these guys came out spent an hour and a half snaking the line, but it didn't work. So they didn't charge us!! Even used their camera which is normally an additional charge...Came back this morning took care of the roots they'd seen last night, and we are BACK IN BUSINESS with a cost that was a FRACTION OF WHAT OTHER COMPANIES WOULD HAVE CHARGED!!!!!!! My husband and I just purchased a new home in the Tucson area which needed a few plumbing updates and a safety check for a gas line connected to our stove. The experience was great from start to finish. In particular, the technician assigned to perform the work needed, confirms why Plumber of Tucson gets so many positive reviews. The company sent Dillion out to provide a free inspection and give us an estimate with absolutely no pressure. Dillion is an expert. He is professional, friendly and very informative. He made his assessments quickly, answered all of our questions and gave us insight into what needed to be done and why. In fact, we were so impressed with Dillion's expertise and work ethic, we specifically asked for him to be assigned as our technician to perform the work required. Also, our new home was not plumbed to accommodate a whole-house water filtration/softening system. While Dillon was here to inspect our plumbing and gas line needs, we asked about a whole-house water filtration/softening system. Another company gave us a cost-prohibitive estimate to provide plumbing to a system which included cutting through interior walls, going into the attic and re-configuring the piping, etc. It didn't make sense. We hired this company to install a whole house Aquasure water treatment system. Our previous system was 24 years old and needed replaced. So I contacted the company through Yelp and they promptly set up an appt. Someone from the company came out to review the Aquasure system, it's placement, plumbing in place etc so the actual installation would go smoothly. Which we greatly appreciated. At our appointment they arrived on time. Did the stated work efficiently and cleaned up any mess. Payment price was more than fair. A year later and we've had zero problems with the system. Recently hubby tried to change the pre-filter unsuccessfully. He found he didn't have enough room to use the wrench. So I contacted the company and asked them to come out we needed revision on our system. Two nice men arrived on time and instructed hubby on how to change the filter. They didn't even charge us for the service which was very kind. If you want someone who is knowledgeable, does exactly the work they contracted for in the time period they provided use this company. Eric Ortiz deserves my highest praise, respect, & gratitude for masterfully troubleshooting a kitchen leak issue that several older more experienced plumbers misdiagnosed as a "slab leak" --a diagnosis that requires expensive resolution & restoration. One plumbing company wanted to create access to the so called slab leak by removing a 2 foot by 3 foot section of by kitchen floor & digging 2 feet down. I truly didn't want a grave in the middle of my kitchen. Then came Eric. He looked at kitchen sink faucet which is old & was covered with lime & calcium deposits, next he opened the wooden cabinets under the sink & turned on the faucet full blast & water just gushed out. All you need is a new faucet. It was all so clear & obvious. Two other plumbers (Gavin & Tommy) from Plumbers of Tucson installed the new faucet, went outside to turn the house water back on & said to wait for 24 hours to see if the leak returned . It's been 5 days. NO LEAK!!! Eric is truly a skilled plumbing engineer & a talented diagnostician!!! read more

A had a leak under my mobile home in the area of my bathroom. I thought it was coming from around the toilet. I had another plumbing company come out. He looked in the area around the toilet, saw that I had galvanized pipe with some rust on it and said that was the cause. His company quoted me $7,000 to re-pipe my house and said they wouldn't attempt to fix just the area of the leak because of the likely hood the galvanized pipe would start leaking in other places. I called Plumber of Tucson the next day and they had someone out that afternoon. He took the time to really look. He found there was no leak in the area the previous plumber had identified. He saw no water, the ground was dry and then went and looked at the meter which showed there was no active water leaking. He then removed more of the skirting on my mobile home and found that the shower pan was leaking. There was obvious signs of moisture there. He though it might be the drain so he did the extra work to verify that by plugging the drain and running the water. It was then obvious it was the shower pan as water rained down on him. While under the house, he noticed an old drain that was not plugged and took care of that while he was under the house. The plumber, Dillon, was professional, empathetic and honest. I did pay $140 diagnostic fee when it turned out that the issue was not what I had thought it was but the company and Dillon were upfront about that. It was worth it! They saved me from paying $7,000 from doing work that would not have solved the problem. Lastly, the Operations Manager called me about an hour after Dillon left to check on how the appointment went. I couldn't say enough good about Dillon and his company. Honesty is so important and I detest companies that don't do their due diligence and then try to sell you on an expensive repair. Get a second opinion! Or better yet, call Plumber of Tucson first. You won't be dissapointed. read more

We had a green fusion water softener installed by Plumber Of Tucson about two years ago. I had some concerns about the controller and the screen because I hadn't heard the unit doing its recycle. I requested somebody available come out and check it out. They put me on a service list as soon as available.
