My toilet was running nonstop even after another plumber had "fixed" it. As the previous plumber was from MacInnis, and I've had excellent service with them before, I called them. I got an appointment within a few days and a different plumber came out with a young man who appeared to be an intern. He explained to both the intern and to me exactly how the job should have been done, including parts replacement, and noted that the previous plumber was no longer with MacInnis. He replaced the parts and demonstrated that the toilet was working properly. As the service was under warranty, the service call was free; however, he also included the new parts. A neighbor found a water leak by our mutual mailboxes. Unfortunately the leak was our water line where it connected to the main pipe. Checking Yelp we found MacInnis Plumbing. I called at 5:45PM on a Friday evening and this wonderful company had a plumber at our home by 8:30AM Monday morning. The plumber introduced himself to my husband. He explored the leak and then explained he needed to go collect more supplies and returned to begin working. Within a few hours the leak was fixed. We were so fortunate that we found this wonderful company and they had reasonable prices. I recommend this company highly. Great company and very responsive. After being ghosted by the bigger companies, the owners, Mike and Heather, came out to look at a water leak I was having whenever I ran water in the kitchen. They guessed where the leak was (at the drain pipe between my walls in the front of the house). They scheduled an appointment and their crew actually showed up on time to do diagnose the problem (the guess was right) and do the work. It took a few hours, they answered my questions as they worked, and they did a nice job cleaning up. They don't repair the walls they had to cut, but they were very upfront about that. My sister thought she had a leak under her kitchen sink from a pipe, so she called MacInnis. They sent two guys, Stephen P. who checked it all out and discovered the problem was not a pipe joint but rather a poor seal surrounding the sink itself.. she wants a new sink anyway, so she'll ask MacInnis to replace. Then they removed the faucet part of an under counter water filter, plugged the opening, brought the filter assembly to my house across the street and replaced the faucet on my filter with hers. Everything works perfectly, they did the work in an hour and we are so pleased. MacInnis has done work for both of us in the past -- they are responsive, professional and we won't call anyone else. read more

I was originally quoted $200 to repair a water line leak. They came while I was at work, and placed a temporary line running across the driveway cutting the water line at the water meter box, and at the house, without contacting me. So, I had to use them. I was told the material used for my water line was going to fail again, in another location, and they recommended I replace the entire water line, $5,000+. I was working on my roof at the time, and chose to only make the repair. Then, because the leak was under the sidewalk, $200 turned into $1,017.93. The real issue is, within 3 months, the water line is leaking again...where they repaired it, not in another location/not the poor water line I already have that was supposedly going to fail/leak again. My water bills have been double, as a result. Do not recommend! read more

Family member used MacInnis for a remove and a replace of a vintage water heater. Thought they missed the appointment because inside and outside of the water heater location is was so clean. About a month later, we needed our water heater replaced. It was a very tight space for removal but they located a tall heater that was the same gallon amount as previous one. When I walked into my laundry room early in the morning and there was a spreading pool of water coming between my cement slab and my brick wall, McInnis plumbing was there almost right away. We just finished remodeling our bathrooms and MacInnis relocated drains, fit new shower and bath lines, installed new valves, replaced sink valves... Contractor would finish and would need the plumber for next steps and MacInnis made it happen. Because of the uncertainty in the job scheduling was a bit rough and we had to work with several different plumbers from MacInnis. Normally this would have had me on edge but each member of the crew I worked with was more pleasant than the last. In the middle of this project I had a couple plumbing issues occur in my office. Gave em a ring and they fit me in quick, did a great job, and didn't interfere with clients I had in office. After reading the reviews of MacInnis Plumbing and based on a referral I received; I can honestly attest that Mike MacInnis is truly a man of his word! He tackled replacing my 33 year old tub/shower fixtures by finding Moen Chateau after-market parts that would work without tearing into my wall. I needed to replace the tub fixtures in both bathrooms. The master bath garden tub spout had a crack in it. The new ones work so easily and look so much better in a brushed nickel finish versus the original chrome finish. They saved me a lot of money that I didn't want to spend...Yay!
