I needed a dishwasher installed. They were on time, professional, and the final price was less than the invoice. Great job!

Without using a camera, they then defaulted to snaking the drain from the roof (not covered, an out-of-pocket expense). We paid and they did - but it did not solve the problem. In fact, it turned an intermittent stoppage on the washer drain into into an absolutely clogged sink drain the week before Thanksgiving. As they snaked the kitchen drain vent, they hit a bunch of black sludge that had been in that section of galvanized pipe which then solidly clogged the kitchen drain. At that point we were told 'oh, this means we have to bust up your slab and rip out the main cast iron drain'. Except that's not clogged. They did send one last technician out to climb under the house to where the galvanized sink drain lies into a cast iron junction with a clean out BEFORE it joins the PVC washer drain. His little snake produced nothing going down that PVC line into the cast iron drain that connects to the main drain so that's not clogged, is it? To their credit, their office manage admitted that they'd made it worse and refunded us the amount we'd paid to have the drains snaked from the roof. Their last technician actually led me to identify the exact problem: the galvanized sink drain line that goes to a cast iron junction before connecting to the PVC washer drain (there's a reason no one uses galvanized drain lines anymore). That is where the clog is. The washer drain is apparently clear (we tested it) clear and the toilets, sinks and shower / tub drains upstairs work just fine. No one ever mentioned replacing that galvanized drain or the cast iron fitting. It was all "rush, rush, snake the vents, oh that didn't work we're outta here. and we're so busy we can come back and tear up your house to further not fix the problem until some time next year. And here's your money back.' And All American has not responded to the AHS so I can officially get a second opinion (which seems to be a thread in their reviews). Instead I'll pay to have the problem diagnosed out-of-pocket. RESOLUTION. Roto Rooter sent out a great plumber, Matt, who snaked the galvanized sink drain all the way to the main drain (from the kitchen, which AHS would have covered) with a 200' snake and then we arranged to have that replaced with PVC.
