Cost: $650. Didn't fix anything. Second diagnosis: "It's ventilation. A Studor vent will fix it 99% sure." Cost: $850. They cut open my wall, tested it, STILL didn't fix anything. Only after all that did they finally run a camera and claim the pipe was "collapsed." Repeat until you get off your dead butt and call a repairman, in this case Apollo Beach Plumbing. I called and was told that someone would be there in an hour. Within an hour Greg showed up. He knew just what to do, had the parts in his truck and started working. After replacing the upper and lower controllers and heating elements, the water heater is new again, Greg said it just needed a tune-up. This was a no BS repair, done in an hour and fairly priced.
