Having dealt with plumbing companies before I was worried that I'd get bent over the table with the price to repair it. She asked me send some photos of my problem to show Jesse when he got home. I got a call back and the estimate was very reasonable. Jesse came out the next day when he said he would. He was very polite the whole time and explained what needed to be done. I needed the two basket strainers and pipe. He said he had to go and buy them and went to Home Depot, it took a while and when he returned he apologize and explained that the ones sold at HD were inferior and went to a hardware store for better parts that will last for many years. Owner- Operator Jesse came out and gave us a quote to replace the faucet and shower fixtures in our primary bathroom. The quote was very reasonable so we accepted. He came back out this morning and did the installation, arriving exactly when he said he would be here. I've used JK Plumbing twice now, and I am just absolutely blown away by the excellent service at a reasonable price. My bathroom has never looked so good! Before calling JK, I had called one of the large local plumbing companies 3 times for the same problem - a really bad odor in the bathroom sink. They charged me every time and never did one thing. Jessie found the problem and pulled out a stinky mess from the pipe. He also replaced the faucet and toilet which look great. I had him back to replace the exterior main water shut off, which was really old and didn't operate properly. I'm so happy that I can now shut off the main water supply if there is an emergency. The pilot light on my water heater ended up going out and I tried to get it to come on but without any success. I called out JK plumbing and was instructed to send over images of the water heater to see if there was anything to advise over the phone. Unfortunately, there was no way of telling the issue without a service appointment do we scheduled one and Jessie came out the same day. Jessie tried to get the pilot light to work but was unable to, even after splicing one of the electrical wires going to the light. The pilot light would spark then, but not stay lit and there was no status indicator on the unit. Jessie sent me a quote for the cost to repair and a cost to replace the unit Seeing as the unit was about 10 years old and likely would fail shortly anyway, I decided to opt for a replacement unit. I inquired about a larger unit and was able to get a separate quote to make a decision on the size and cost. I ended up getting a bigger unit and Jessie was able to secure one, despite short supply for larger units. The next week we were able to set up an appointment and get my water heater replaced. Jessie went the extra mile to ensure the replacement water heater installation would be up to snuff. I appreciated his attention to detail and talking me through some of what he was doing.
