I went into getting my first tattoo with nerves and excitement. But not only getting one I decided to get a majority of my arm for my first . I had an idea in mind in getting what I wanted. The artist and I met and worked with exceeded my expectations and I couldn't ask for anyone better . He added his expertise without compromising my vision and he made the design even better. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed through the whole process. Something I noticed is that when we would walk toward the mirror to see results during the process is that he would walk with me and analyze the design and talk me through it . That is something I didn't see other artist do with their clients. He gave me excellent service and gained a returning client. TL;DR: amazing tattoo studio with super talented artists. Thank you Sogdiana! I knew I wanted a fine line, black & gray, floral forearm piece, and through many hours of research, I found Eden via Instagram. The artists are all incredibly talented and have stunning portfolios on their pages. Booking: I initially submitted a request through their website with Taylor and promptly received an email with additional details, including the fact that she typically only does specific kinds of flowers. After some emails and reference photos, I was recommended to work with Sogdiana instead. From there, I scheduled the appointment, sent the down payment, and eagerly waited for the date. Ambience: after checking in at the front desk and filling out a quick consent form, I only waited a short moment while Sogdiana was getting set up. The studio was clean and modern with a B&W aesthetic. Tattoo process: it took 3.5 hours total for me, between the stencil, the actual tattooing, and a couple short breaks. Sogdiana was very friendly and easygoing - she was always open to feedback for changes and made sure I liked all aspects of the piece. It was nice to have a balance of conversation and focusing on the work (or in my case, my phone lol). When we were almost finished, she wondered if it could use more shading. I deferred to her choice to add some more since I trust her opinion, but I appreciated that she asked! The photographer took a couple pics, and I checked out at the front desk with a beautiful tat on my arm. Communication: the Eden team had great communication across all fronts - reminder emails prior on how to prepare/what to bring, walking through the process during the actual tattooing, and follow-up emails on proper aftercare. I had a small question on one part of the design (the negative space leaf), and they quickly answered it, offering to touch it up if I didn't like it. They even sent the photo the day right after the appointment! Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Sogdiana and Eden as a whole, and I'd recommend to anybody in DFW (or anywhere, really). Came out of here with a freezer in my ear!!!! Whoa do I recommend Haley! My friends and I came to get conch and helix piercings. To put my pain tolerance in perspective, I have no tatts or anything besides 2 standard lobe piercings I got when I was 4...was legit worried I'd come out sobbing, screaming or worse idk Haley was so incredibly patient, diligent and calming. She explained every part of the process. Sanitized every piece and ensured we were all comfortable and knew exactly what we'd end up with and were happy. Haley was so skilled I feel sooo encouraged to come back and get more. For the process, you find pieces with online companies that Edens is affiliated with (Buddha, Junipurr, Anatometal). You message Edens through their IG and have them order the piece. Fill out an online tracker and pay 50% down. When the piece arrives to their shop, they message you to schedule your piercing! Buddha had a bit of a delay in ordering (not on Edens) then since I did this with friends we had to coordinate amongst ourselves to schedule a date so we pushed things out like a month and a half. Piercing fee was $45 and the optional can of piercing after care was $15, when budgeting remember that the cost can vary based on the jewelry you select and then add to these costs. Process very smooth and Edens is so professional. 5 stars highly recommend. read more

My amazing tattoo experience with Eden Body Art Studio started with the ease of scheduling and communication since I was traveling from the west coast. I spoke with Willow my artist before my appointment about what I would like included in my tattoo. I sent some sample artwork and pictures of the location on my thigh. Looked up good places to get piercings in Dallas, and found this gem. Went to their website and found that Haley has an instagram account with photos and tons of information about typical questions about piercings. I sent her a message and scheduled my appointment. Today I arrived early and filled out the consent form while Haley was finishing up a client. Soon afterwards she explained the jewelry and the prices and got everything clean and sterile for the procedure before calling me back. She called me back shortly after and explained everything and let me see the placement before piercing. It was quick and it wasn't bad, but it will make your eyes water based on where the piercing is. I drove from Austin to Dallas for my 2nd tattoo, with Willow. Here's my full experience: Customer service: Communicating with Colton and Nicole was a breeze. Colton helped match me with the perfect artist for my request and was great about answering all of my questions. Studio: The studio is clean, trendy, and has a comfy waiting area which is super appreciated! I loved that the artists all get along and hype up each other's work. This was my second time coming to the studio. The first time Willow did an wonderful job on my detailed memorial piece and charged me an understandable and reasonable price. She did great checking me out after my appointment was done and gave me what I requested. She even told me my tattoo was less because it "didnt take her long"..I decided to come back to her but this time I was taken care of by a new front staff lady who I was not very fond of from the moment I walked in. I stood at the front desk for 15 minutes yelling helloooo while staff and the lady herself were in a visual distance of me while not greeting me until a customer had to tell them that they should greet me. The owner is giving the excuse that i was early, i guess the protocol is you dont get greeted if youre early. From there on, the front lady who did not give me her name, was unprofessional. She immediately had an attitude because she can see that I was frustrated for waiting for someone to greet me. She then told me to sit down on the couch and wait for Willow without offering anything to drink. I sat down on the crumb/food collected leather chairs and listened to the same front staff member talk bad about two other clients in the almost two hour waiting period I waited. I own a business and I understand that clients can get frustrating but it is very unprofessional to speak very openly aloud about other customers in front of your customers. The owner has claimed they have footage of me being at the front desk for only 5 minutes but is acting like they dont have footage of the bad mouthing happening when the camera is right where she was too.. i am confused by this statement.. Aside from the unprofessionalism from this woman, she told me that the tattoo I requested, which I gave full detail of what I wanted at the time of booking, would need to take half a day. I even had requested I come in around 6 o'clock but she said that I need to come around 4 o'clock because it would take the tattoo that much longer. Essentially I took off work early to make sure I got there. I even told my husband "they said half day so i think ill be home after 10". I never once changed the style/size of tattoo that I wanted and they were given plenty of time to draw out my piece. Willow was trying to change what I wanted suggesting me completely different types of flowers than what I sent (which was one rose and eucalyptus leaves,pretty simple) and spent more time doing that even though I kept telling her kindly no I still want what I originally wanted. Willow only spent no more than one hour and 20 minutes on my tattoo. I have timestamps of the photos that were taken before and after. I told the older front staff lady/person who scheduled me the exact size that I wanted at booking and then when I expressed my concern after leaving my appointment with my charge being extremely high, she admitted that she quoted me for a larger tattoo but yet still charged me for a big tattoo but yet did not offer a partial refund. I spent 1.5 hours in Willow's chair and was charged an entire half a day of services of $800 for a 3/4 dollar size tattoo!! Me being a returning client, I was never informed willow was not charging hourly anymore and that her minimum charge was $800. If I would've known that I was going to get charged a half day for only an hour and a half worth of work then I would've decided to go with another artist somewhere else. I was never notified that her prices had changed and was under the understanding of how she previously charged me less than one year ago. I spent more time sitting on the filthy leather couch listening to the front desk rant and talk bad about other customers than I did getting my tattoo. The owner does not respond and has been unprofessional up to this point. read more
