Outstanding Service from a True Professional I recently hired Brett from Plumbing Repair Service INC in Port Hadlock, WA to help prepare my father-in-law's house in Port Townsend, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience from start to finish. Simply put, Brett is top notch. We had a leak at our house, which needed attention quickly, but was not destroying our home. After some initial research I connected with Brett from Plumbing Repair Service. He called me back within an hour or so, we talked through the issue, and he rearranged his schedule to come a day later. While he as here he was polite, and friendly, and clearly knew what he was talking about. We've had several plumbers to our house for other issues over the past year, and Brett was just a different breed and a great guy. He gave us some sound advice on some other plumbing questions we had and we are happy to say we will be having him back to do some additional, non-emergency work. He showed us everything he did, explained a LOT of things to us, and was so very thorough. He even ensured everything was written up for our home insurance claim. This is all in stark contrast to the one other call I made and the plumber told me "We are always booked and busy. We recently purchased and moved into an older manufactured home in Port Hadlock that was missing the dishwasher and disposal and the plumbing under the sink was, lets say, interesting. Asking around, Brett came highly recommended by a number of sources. He exceded his reputation. He did a great job installing and replumbing. Brett Nelson has done a number of big jobs for me, and each one has been well executed. He replaced a gas water heater with an electric, which required getting rid of the venting. He connected my yard hydrants to the PUD water after the well pump failed and the well installer would not repair it. This turned out to be a good thing, as the PUD water is reliable and I got rid of an unsightly tank and pump in the laundry room that took up a lot of space. He replaced all the failing yard hydrants as well, and got a spigot off the main house that was apparently disconnected before to work. Perhaps the most challenging and risky job was to replace an undermount kitchen sink, because there is always a chance the granite top will crack or break. The old sink was divided, which I hate, and was improperly sealed. The new sink fits perfectly and now I can fit my largest cast iron pots and baking pans and a very large breadboard. The new faucet is also fabulous, with an articulating arm. Before and after photos attached. I can't recommend Brett enough. His work ethic and skill is the best I've seen around here. Brett Nelson (dba Plumbing Repair Service) is awesome. We have a house near Port Townsend which I inherited from my parents. My father was not easy to please so when I saw several receipts from PRS in his files I figured that Brett must be good. I have continued to use him for plumbing work on this house and yes, he is. In addition to doing good work, Brett is extremely easy to work with. He listens to what you want done and respects your budget. His truck is well-stocked; he didn't have to order anything when making repairs to the oddball plumbing in this house. He is also dependable. A few years ago someone drove into an outdoors faucet uphill from this house and broke the pipe, creating a new water feature in the front yard. It was bad enough that the water system folks noticed it and notified me. I was in Seattle and couldn't head to Port Townsend immediately but was able to hand the problem off to Brett. Knowing that things would be handled, and handled well, took a huge load off my mind. In addition to doing good work, Brett writes very detailed work invoices.
