He also pulled $10K more on the down payment from our sale, than what had asked for and that has really strained our move. Jonathan helped us buy our current house and he was fantastic! But for us, we like his cut-to-the-chase, no-nonsense style. We have a 5 yr old who CAN'T be vaccinated yet so having an unvaccinated person come to our house and sit at our kitchen table for an hour puts our child at risk. The house closed just two and a half months after she started showing it, during a fairly difficult market for sellers. - Guiding us through the process of purchasing the townhouse that we originally fell in love with, which was magically still on the market. (This was the last of three identical townhouses that didn't sell during the difficult market. By the time our house sale finally closed, one was still left, at a considerable discount off it's original selling price. Every title transaction I've been through has been a rushed process, and WFG was no different…read more I told WFG there was an error in the calculations 10 days before signing, they simply ignored my email. Then when signing papers, they told me "it'd be corrected by tomorrow when it all settles". Guess what - it wasn't corrected. After following up with them to ask what happened and why they ignored my email, they said "Sorry, we goofed, but you now have to wait for the bank to send you the check. It'll be 20 business days." An error that I caught and notified them of was ignored, and now $2500 that was erroneously paid to the bank instead of us and all we get is a "sorry sucks to be you." Every real estate transaction I've been privy to has had calculation errors (can title companies not do math??), but this was a bad error, caught, and ignored. Not OK. Will be telling everyone to avoid WFG.
