Excellent work! I ordered 3 pillows for my living room. I was extremely pleased. Pillows had matching zippers that exactly matched the fabric. Work was top notch! They have a very large selection of fabric & trim to order. New location is super nice with expanded selection of in stock fabrics. I'm quite surprised to read the review from the former poster, because my experience with Plush has been phenomenal! From the first time I went into the store, the level of service I received was very high. I had 2 chairs passed down from my grandmother that I wanted reupholstered, and they consulted me on fabric, trim, how much to order, etc. and were generally a great help. Not to mention, Plush's prices for labor are very good - much better than down in Austin proper - and they did a bang-up job with my chairs!! (Posting photos to the Plush page.) The free pickup and delivery that Plush offers makes the whole experience relatively painless, and my delivery guys were extremely prompt and courteous. If you need custom upholstery done, I recommend Plush highly; they offer everything from custom bedding and drapes to upholstery services. read more

Had them recover some chairs a few years ago and they did an amazing job. Fast forward 4 years.... Just brought a chair to be recovered in leather and they did not do so great. Had a piece of raw leather exposed at a seam that required that the chair be reworked..... took an hour of my time on something they should have caught first time around as it was front and center. Went to pick it up a second time and there are light scratches on the seating area... looks like they used it as a table and it looks like a box was set on it and pulled off. I can buff it out but aggravated at sloppy work, wasted time and carelessness. read more

Wow, what a great group of people! My wife and I needed our outdoor furniture to be restrung. After calling all over Austin we settled on Plush. Sydney convinced me that her team could get it done correctly and quickly. Because we live in South Austin and Plush is in North Austin, Sydney arranged for the furniture to be picked up at our house. They could not have made it any easier. Unfortunately, when we received the chairs back we realized the fabric we picked wasn't the correct "grade" and sat too loose in the frames. Sydney and the girls at Plush never hesitated to make it right. They immediately came and got the chairs, ordered a stronger, heavier outdoor material and completely restrung the chairs. The chairs are on the deck now and look amazing! What could have been a disaster was fixed to 100% satisfaction, I can't recommend Plush highly enough. Thank you!!! read more

We worked through a local "designer" based on their recommendation of this business. They made custom decorative fabric panels and shower curtain liners for our bathrooms. The delivery of the custom work took months. When the solution was finally installed, we had family stay over and the shower liners were so heavy (thick plastic) and made too short, they would not stay in place and this caused them to flow inward. This made a huge mess with water leaking out and makes taking a shower difficult since you have to constantly move the shower curtain back. We provided feedback and asked for the solution to be reworked. Plush came back out and secured some cheap hangers to the liner to lower it but this did not solve the problem with the weight of liner. After providing additional feedback, we were told that our bathtubs were not a standard width and this was the problem. This is interesting since the company had been out to our house several times and measured the size of the space. I asked for a more light weight nylon liner and was informed that they would make these but we never heard back and we were never contacted. Now we are over a year later with $2,000 custom shower curtains and liners that are useless for practical application. When you pay extra to work with people who are experts in their trade and you did not direct or design the solution, you would think there would be accountability on the business who executed the solution, not the homeowner. We will move on and replace the solution but this was a waste of time and money! read more

Stay AWAY: Run by a bunch of FLIGHTY WOMEN!!!! With excitement & pleasure I entered Plush to schedule the recovering of an antique chair. We made arrangements to have the chair picked up between 11 & 12 the next day. The time came and went. When I called Plush, there was no explanation given other than my appointment was missed. The delivery crew was down in S.ATx all day & no ONE was responding to their cell phones (per the owner's mother's statement). The owner is out of town on vacation. No ONE could give me a time that someone would be at my house to pick up the chair. One employee went so far as to say there was no hurry because they would not begin work until AFTER Christmas. Of course there is no hurry. They have nearly $200 of my money as a deposit. Never mind that their customers have schedules & lives as well. STAY away from this business unless you can operate at their convenience, on their schedule, & do not mind endless excuses with no solutions proposed. Unfortunately for these people, I have several other items of furniture in need of work & would have become a long term customer. read more

i just had my outdoor porch furniture reupholstered. What an amazing job they did. Sydney spent an hour with me picking outdoor fabric options that I could share with my husband. While he had his pick of fabric, I had the amazing outdoor seating! They delivered to the day on time. They did a fabulous job matching the stripe and the jumbo welting. The price for the reupholstery was beyond fair. We had such good results that I have now taken two other chairs to be finished. I can't say enough great things!! read more
