I requested a quote from Dawson regarding the part so I can approve purchase and get my dryer repaired. I've contacted them several times, and each time they tell me they will get back to me. So I've been without a working dryer for nearly a month. I'm trying to give them my business and get my appliance repaired, and they are not following through. Edit: after multiple requests for a quote on price of the needed repair item, and being told repeatedly that I will get this information the next day, it is only after I post a review that you tell me you cannot repair my unit, even if I pay for the part myself. I've never heard of a repair company that can't provide a repair.

My wife's sewing machine wasn't working. She called them up and was invited to bring the machine…read morein. Fortunately the machine was still acting up so the shop could see exactly what the problem was. Turned out the machine needed a different bobbin, and they also showed her the correct way to thread the machine. Since she has been sewing heavier material and doeskin, they also suggested a "walking foot" to make the task easier. The only charge was for the walking foot, they didn't charge anything for getting the machine going and showing her how to use it. Lot's cheaper than buying a new machine!
