I have never been to an urgent care before, but I imagined it to be chaotic, loud, or like an emergency room. I was glad it was more like a pediatrician's office that had extended hours. My friend recommended this place after bringing her child here, so I knew I could schedule my visit online before going (their site also says if there's a wait). I completed the first time patient paperwork in the waiting room. The staff was really friendly and took care of us quickly. They sent the script we needed to the pharmacy and I was able to pick up immediately after. They do what's called a shnozzle, which is like a saline rinse or neti pot situation to relieve congestion, and they give you the kit to take home with instructions. I just had to pay a co-pay a month later so everything went smoothly. Only complaint is that for a single visit I received 15 emails before/after the visit: confirming my appointment, signing up for their app and then notifications after the visit, reminders to share feedback. A bit aggressive, but my friend who has gone multiple times said she doesn't get all those emails so maybe it's because it was my first time. Not bad enough to dock any stars or deter me from coming here again if I need to, just a little annoying with their automations. read more

The billing issues start when you walk through the door, they pretend not to be able to find the insurance then tell you it's ok they will locate it with corporate. 6 months and several phone calls later and still they are telling me my son was not insured, even though i have provided proof. I've had to report this company to state insurance board! Not to mention the physician that saw my son 4yr old- told me his jaw pain was because his "toddler" teeth were coming in. Toddler get those teeth at 2yrs old, i mentioned he has all 20 of his baby teeth. She still stated some were growing in. 1 week later his back molar was extracted because there was a small infection! On Saturday November 30th 2023 I came to urgent care for my 16 month old because she had a cold and I wanted to make she didnt have a ear infection or anything. I made an appointment at 2:00pm I was seen until 2:30pm I did Arrive early I wasn't mad at the wait time. As I was taken back for my child's appointment a nurse and a patient where arguing back and forth in the waiting area while my child and I stood there and I personally felt as if the situation could've been handled better. very unprofessional that my child and I had to be in the middle literally of the heated argument. My other issue is that when my daughter and I was in the room I felt as like the doctor did a rush job. I was told that there was only 2 doctor, but no patient should feel like you are rushing them out. I was told my daughter didn't have a ear infection. the next day I was able to get a appointment with her primary doctors office and they did an amazing job, i was told my daughter indeed have an ear infection. I will not be coming back, or recommending this urgent care because I personally don't think they take ALL patients serious. read more

I am so displeased. I give 0 stars for this place, but they required me to give it at least 1 star. I just experienced advice from a "Caregiver" that was not requested of him. He was condescending, not informative, not compassionate, and acted like we were a bother. My daughter woke up with an earache, but no fever. I provided her with some Motrin and sent her to school. After receiving word from the school that she is crying in pain from her ear, I pick her up. After being home for some time, she started to have a fever. I live 2 minutes from the PM Pediatric Care Center in Springfield, PA so I said OK I can step away from work for 30 minutes take her there to be checked, and get her medication that she needs. Anyway, this is beside the point of this review. Here is the dialogue with the gentleman who triaged my daughter this afternoon. I will further list him as "Caregiver" in this review. Caregiver asked what brought us in. I share that my daughter has a low grade fever today and has been complaining that her ear hurts her. On Monday she had higher fevers, vomiting, and broke out in hives around 7 PM, but no Urgent Care center had open appointments to see her so I brought her to the ER. The ER provided her Benadryl and told me how the body can react to ongoing fevers and break out in hives. I shared with Caregiver that this was the first I ever heard of it and it happening to my daughter. Caregiver went on to say how the first time with something can lead people to be dramatic. He continued to share that her pediatrician's office should have after-hours. This all took me back, but I said that is good to know, but I wanted my daughter to be physically seen and checked as I am sensitive right now because a young boy in the area just passed away this week due to a fever. Caregiver showed NO REMORSE. The response from Caregiver was it was not the fever that caused the death it had to be whatever caused the fever. I said yes, they are still waiting on an autopsy report but what they know right now is that there was a fever. Caregiver then had the AUDACITY to say how he hadn't heard this story yet and said you know how stories change for all we know he could have been run over by a bus. I proceeded to say sternly "No, the father of the child posted about it so it happened." He ignored my comment and proceeded to say nothing was wrong with my daughter and she was fine. Well, guess what, she is not fine. I went to her primary care doctor which is further away and they notified me she does have an ear infection. So this caregiver not only provided poor service in his attitude but also in his ability to diagnose. I will not be returning here. It was a waste of time and energy, and I am still APPALLED at how any human being could have commented on a tragic death that just happened in this local area. RUDE, INHUMANE, AND ILL-MANNERED. You call yourself a pediatric caregiver and you can't even seem to care about this? Also, the ER (Riddle ER), was amazing and a completely different experience than this urgent care facility. The ER was so sweet, loving, and caring, and even with my daughter being sick, they had her smiling. I would take my child to that ER before this Urgent Care any day or time of the week moving forward. I hope PM Pediatric addresses this issue further because Caregiver are taking advantage of those families right now by charging them money to get checked and not being given the CORRECT diagnosis. Also, I sat on this for a while, while waiting to speak with PM Pediatrics' customer care service, and they have had me on hold with no update for over an hour. You have lost customers from this community because I will continuously spread the word about this experience. read more

I have 2 children and have been here several times. The first time we went the doctor was lovely with my child she was helpful and attentive, However everytime since has been awful. My children have been rushed out. The last time we took my nonverbal 2-year-old son my concerns weren't even listened to. he wasn't even checked out just offered a covid test and then told he could go. I am writing this review today because my 11-year-old is going on 3 days of being pretty sick and when choosing an urgent car she asked not to go PM because they never listen to her and she always ends up having to go somewhere else anyway. My son stuck a bead up his nose so I called them to make sure they could take care of something like that, they assured me they see it all the time and to bring him in. I go in and wait 2 hours to be seen since they only had 1 doctor working. When we are finally seen the dr comes in and doesn't introduce herself or say anything just immediately is rushing us and rude telling me to follow her to another room. Her and her assistant are looking for tools to help and they bring out small metal forceps and have me hold down my son. MIND YOU she is also using her phone light to see up my son's nose. She SHOVES the metal forceps up there causing him to bleed immediately and then tells me she doesn't have the right tools and call ent tomorrow. I ended up having to take him to the ER because she shoved the head even further up his nose to the point he almost needed to be sedated. HORRIBLE service read more

I've been to PM Pediatrics multiple times but I will never schedule an appt with Dr. Godson Asamoa again. Dr. Asamaoa treats his practice like a fast-food chain, he just wants to get patients out of the room and only treat symptoms. Without touching, examining, or looking into my daughter's history he determined there was nothing wrong. When I described her recurrent issue that she's had for the past 4-5 years, Dr. Asamoa told me "She's fine now" and the symptoms I described were wrong. He was condescending and unprofessional. I've seen more professional doctors in 3rd world countries. I would only go back for covid testing as I don't feel like this doctor is capable of anything requiring an actual medical degree. read more

We had an excellent experience taking our two year old here. It was on a holiday when his PCP was closed, and we needed a strep test. We arrived right when they opened, and the staff directed us to register and check in via a QR code, which was quick, easy, and paperless. We were seen with a very short wait time, and the nurse/PA who helped us was so friendly. Doctor was very kind and patient with our toddler, and they helped us get in and out in 45 minutes all told. We are new to the area and glad there is reliable pediatric urgent care nearby. read more

PM Pediatrics staff was great today ! From the front Desk staff, to our nurse and our doctor, Dr. Briglia. We had an appointment- and although wait time was longer than I thought it would be the whole process was smooth considering the amount of patients to be seen. Stay away from this place!. Absolutely the worst ethically - a total rip off - and frankly it is theft from families. I went there to get COVID-19 tests for my two kids. These tests by the way are totally FREE to anyone - the tests are fully reimbursed by insurance or by Federal/State governments. This pediatric urgent care establishment advertises Covid tests for kids. Once they get you in the door, they rip you off! In addition to collecting fair reimbursement for the Covid tests from my insurance - the manager insisted on charging me an additional $100 per child for an "urgent care office visit" which is not covered by my insurance for a voluntary Covid test. My kids have no symtoms and do not even need to see a doctor - we just wanted the 5 second nasal swap test before out-of-town family comes to visit us. What this company is doing is actually illegal price-gouging during a pandemic by overcharging Americans for a free test - with costs fully reimbursable to test givers. I immediately stormed out of there and will never go back. Take my advice - stay away from this place and hope they go out of business to stop them from stealing money from local families. read more
