When I was looking for a new account, this bank felt like a small business, so I explored creating one. I went online to set up an appointment--easy breezy. I get text messages to remind me of the appointment. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by a sense of nostalgia. The bank's design and layout reminded me of the banks I used to visit with my grandparents. It was a comforting and familiar feeling, despite the modern addition of video cameras at all angles. It was very smooth to open an account as the confirmation email informs you what documents you need to bring.

This new Capital One Bank branch just opened in late 2024. The atms were available prior, but now…read morethe office is open and staffed. The setup is pretty simple. There is a one security guard at the door and occasionally a person checking what people need. There are 2 private rooms and a customer service desk in the back. The customer service representatives are ok. However they seem to be bery limited in what they can do besides simple transactions and basic account maintenance, which may be by design. The layout and decor are modern and minimalist. There is ample seating along the wall for people to wait and that's about it. Overall, the experience was OK. However, if you need to get a lot done that doesn't require you to go in person, you may be better off with phone customer service.

I just love new banks it's like new crisp money to me and this one is lighted up like a disco. They advertise the power of red but the place is is mostly blue ? It is open 7 days, and they got safe deposit boxes and free coin counting like TD Bank used to do. So now finally I can lug the 5 gallon water jug with pinnies down here and buy meal a happy meal at the McDonald's next door. They also posted no ATM fees and that you get $75 bucks for switching from your bank.
