I used to love this place, but it has gone downhill. Especially one teller who just takes…read moreridiculously long at everything, from deposits to exchanging coins to cashing a check. Once she even told me she couldn't cash a check because both mine and my husband's name was on the check so she needed two signatures. I've never had that before. I just deposited at the ATM and took out the money anyway. So annoying. I don't know if they are understaffed or everyone is only allowed to do one thing, but it always takes too long to get things done at this branch. I am so tired of trying to go in there. If you say I should always go to the ATM, that would be fine, but the one outside breaks down pretty routinely. It runs out of money to give out, or is unable to accept deposits. Also, apparently there's only one person who covers a few different branches who can talk to you about investing your money. It took a few days for him to get back to me and then even longer to make an appointment, which is only for like 2 hours on every third Tuesday of the month on a full moon or something. I exaggerate, but you get the point. I was unable to make an appointment time because my work schedule did not coincide with this guy's schedule. And of course no one else can help. It's just not very well run. I'm really about to change banks or at least open a second bank account somewhere else just so I can cash a check or go to an ATM without problems.

I got a new computer and it took me three tries to access my Chase online account for security measures. Then I tried to input an external account to transfer some money to. That took 10 days and three attempts. They finally got it worked out and I verified the account, then I made a small transfer. They denied the transfer shortly thereafter and locked me out of my account. I called the security number given on the lock out notice and was told I needed a debit card number to talk to somebody. It's a business account and I don't use a debit card for it. I finally got through upon the forth attempt. On this occasion, I was asked 3 security questions, including one that involved companies I was involved with in the past. I had never heard of any of these companies yet they tell me I failed the verification. ‍. On the fifth try of calling them, I spoke to a helpful person that took 25 minutes to resolve the issue. He told me this happens all the time and their security system is very "tight" and doesn't let people transfer out of the bank on most occasions. This sounds highly suspicious and more like a play where they want to keep your money and not a security concern. If Chase has trouble verifying another bank at their size, why do all these smaller banks not have any issues doing it???. This afternoon I am driving over to the Chase branch and will probably spend another hour and a half trying to close my account, but I am out of this insanity. As a point of reference, I have worked for Wells Fargo, Bank Of America, and two local banks. I have never seen Issues such as what Chase has. They take forever to do anything for you, their Customer Service people don't really care, and their system, highly technical, has major issues. Stay away from these people!

Maybe she was having a busy morning, or maybe she was distracted by my flawless skin or my Mexico #16 jersey. Thankfully, Noemi, the Lead Member Consultant, took over. As I was about to enter the bank, instead of a polite greeting, I was immediately asked where I parked. There was no "Hello" or "Welcome"--just a question seemingly to ensure I was a customer. I responded that I was indeed a customer and pointed out that this was an inappropriate way to greet someone. Unfortunately, instead of apologizing, she justified her actions, which shows a lack of professionalism and a need for training. Mistakes happen, and that's understandable, but refusing to apologize and attempting to rationalize poor behavior is unacceptable. This incident stands out because I've never had issues like this at Seacoast Bank before. It's disappointing, especially when I've always trusted this institution to deliver excellent customer service. I'll be making a formal complaint because everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their status as a customer or visitor. Employees are not traffic cops, and in today's world, enforcing parking or interrogating parents about where they park should not be a priority. I hope Seacoast Bank implements a new policy to remind staff about professionalism and proper customer interaction. Until then, I cannot recommend this branch and encourage others to think twice before visiting.

A bank representative immediately responded when I walked in. My experience after this was nothing short of incredible. 10 out of 10 customer service! To start with, I had called this bank ahead of time to ask about their notary services for account holders. I have a TD Bank credit card, and this makes me an account holder! Unlike the bank where I keep my checking account, their notary services will sign wills, and their bank employees will act as witnesses. Awesome! Coming in, I didn't have to wait long- a bank representative sat me down and brought me everything I needed. It was the quickest, simplest, most enjoyable experience I have ever had at a bank. Sitting there in awe, I definitely thought - if I ever decide to switch my checking to a different bank, this would be a high contender on customer service alone. Thank you!
