Hard to imagine a more beautiful ballpark than PNC Park. As a season ticket holder, I am always excited each time I go! It has the most beautiful view of my city - it is always so inspiring. In addition to the great seating, tickets are very reasonably priced (compared to the rest of the league). Although the concession prices are kind of steep, the food is pretty decent (that is not why I go). I recommend sections 317-321 as the best seats. Come see me in Section 319!
Visiting PNC Park while in Pittsburgh is a must. We are lucky to live here and take full advantage. The place always has friendly workers and is clean. The views are out of this world...every seat is perfect and picturesque.
BEST PALLPARK IN AMERICA!!! The view of the city skyline, the food selection around the ballpark, the 360 degree concourse, the ease of access from multiple parts of the city... PNC Park is a must do for every yinzer in Pittsburgh or from far away! With the yearly updates constantly adding more to do and more photo-ops for those who love a good picture.. you will always find a way to be entertained.. even if baseball is really your thing!
I had a great time going for the Pirates game but I got incredibly lost. That's not the stadiums fault and every employee I spoke to was incredibly helpful and kind. I got a foot long corn dog but unfortunately it had been sitting in the window a long time and didn't sit right with me later in the night. I parked at the first avenue parking garage and took the T to North Shore. Parking was $6 and the T was free. I went for IUP night and it was fun to sit in the IUP section - would definitely go again! Baseball baseball baseball.
If it's your child's first visit, they can get a First Game Certificate! The staff were all very friendly and helpful in guiding us to our seats. When we were looking for them, they helped us find them quickly and smoothly. They even wiped down our seats because they were wet from the rain. It was a bit difficult to find our way around, and I wish there were clearer signs for the stairs, ramps, and restrooms, especially when the stadium was crowded.
We were on town to see Dave Matthews Band at Star Lake and stayed in town to hit up a baseball game and wander around the area. We heard parking could be as high as $100 but we found a $20 lot a few blocks down so walked around the area and went in the stadium early, it wound up being a bobble head night. Paul Snedes had 11 strikeouts but the team couldn't pull it together, but it's always a nice night at the ballpark win or lose.
We had a spectacular view and wonderful experience while visiting the city from out of state. Truly the best view during a baseball game. Tasty food and sips. Great energy with crowd. Definitely a must try when in town. Sat in the shade which made it extra comfortable. Nice layout overall of the stadium. A total local gem!
One of the most beautiful park in America. It's been 7-8 years since Ive been here and they did a great job adding even more to it. A lot more stuff for the kids. Fills out the space well.
PNC park is one of the most beautiful ball parks I've ever been to. It's generally clean, the staff is friendly & helpful, and the views are beautiful. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Definitely worth seeing a game if you're in town.
I would have given it 5 stars...but I'm a Mariners fan and we lost that day! It is a beautiful stadium with amazing bridges to get there. But I'm bias against T-Mobile park!
I have been a visitor of PNC Park off and on for about 12 years, but somehow I did not have a previous Yelp review for it... PNC Park opened in 2001 and is the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. I have attended a couple of Pirates games here (I should attend more!), and I have enjoyed the beautiful views of the Allegheny River and city skyscrapers and not quite as much the losing performance of the Pirates... Most recently my husband's company held a holiday party in the Pittsburgh Baseball Club (PBC/C) Level, an indoor climate-controlled concourse. We had access to three private bars--Wigle Whiskey, Wigle Reserve, and City of Champions Bourbon--as well as concession stands--Il Forno Pizza, Bierbauer's Grill, Tenders Love Chicken, Bridges Burger Company, and a pasta station. The level also included lounge areas, pool tables, etcetera. We enjoyed eating the Rudolph's Spritzer (limoncello, vodka, cranberry juice, and Sprite), cheese and pepperoni pizza, nachos (which came in a cute mini Pirates hat!), chicken and vegan tenders with fries (the vegan tenders actually tasted decent), and sugar and toffee cookies. However, the made-to-order tortellini with vodka sauce and bacon was extremely oily, so we ate little of it. The employees spoke nicely with us, and I got to pose with The Pirate Parrot and the Pirate Pierogi Jalapeño Hannah. This company party also included a brief tour of the stadium. We saw the hallways, field, dugout, and clubhouse (locker room, coaches' offices, training area, etc. but with NO photos or videos allowed).
I recently went back to PNC park for a Pirates game. At this point, you are visiting the park for the insane views. The Pirates are....the Pirates. per usual, PNC park has a variety of food and drink options, so there's something for everyone. There's a good mix of sitting and standing areas throughout the park in case you don't want to sit at your ticketed seat. Prices are about average. But, go for the views! I can't stress this enough lol.
I got to experience Pittsburgh Pirates PNC Park on Sunday, June 14th. The stadium is located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. The baseball tickets at PNC Park were very affordable. The Pittsburgh Pirates were playing the Miami Marlins, which was the team I was going for. Now, when baseball tickets were purchased, the game was supposed to start around 1:00 PM, but it was changed to 12:15 PM. Entering the building, there were no stairs; we came in from the side of the door, got our tickets scanned, got on the elevator by a staff, where a worker took us to our floor. Getting to the ballpark as well as getting inside wasn't bad. The PNC Park is an open stadium, and it was very hot and humid when I was there. Inside you'll see the different food places. I didn't eat at the ballpark since I had lunch at a restaurant before the game. Upon going to the seats, it was a beautiful view. I had to get pictures of the field, myself, and the background. My team, the Miami Marlins, won their match against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday June 14th. I truly enjoyed my time at PNC Park, and it's very beautiful too. I will come back to visit and try the PNC Park foods.

We took a walk recently down on the North Shore. Going past PNC Park,we noticed the newer Hall of Fame tribute set up along the walkway. There were large baseballs honoring Hall of Fame baseball players from the Pittsburgh Pirates, Crawfords and the Homestead Grays. There was also a garden with all of their numbers with a plaque. A great piece of Pittsburgh baseball history. read more

Still the best ballpark in MLB, by far! Easy access, lots of adjacent parking reasonably priced, and not a bad seat in the house! I've sat near everywhere here - from peanut heaven (by far my favorite) to right behind the dugout on either side...and it's all good! Great concession choices, expensive drinks (but I don't imbibe so no biggie to me), and it's a kid friendly place for family fun watching the Bucs (that unfortunately aren't such a good team, but we love 'em anyway!). Come on down to the ballpark! Go Bucs! read more

One of, if not the most, beautiful baseball parks in the United States. Great venue for baseball... and it has all the amenities to go along with it. Great views of the city, terrific food and drink, vendors with T-shirts and souvenirs. It's close to bars and restaurants and sits on the near Northside of town. Convenient to get to, and there's always lots of things you can do nearby before or after a game. Baseball is a National pastime, and what's better on a summer day than to watch our National League team, the Pirates! Always a favorite way to spend an afternoon or evening. read more
PNC stadium is an excellent stadium which features the beautiful Pittsburgh skyline, seemingly from all of the seats available! On this particular night, they hosted a kids night with a drone show. The drone show was really neat to watch as I've never seen one! Overall a great experience despite a bit of rainy weather! read more
Anytime I'm at PNC Park I have to get a stadium nacho, one of my favorites! Plus the game was great, walk off home run in extra innings on a beautiful day - can't beat it! Prices for everything in the park are extremely high which is the only reason I can't give 5 stars. Go Bucs! read more

Came to PGH to see the Pirates play the Padres. This is my 4th time coming to PNC Park and the experience is great every time. Every seat in the park gives a great view and they are very well priced compared to other ballparks. There was a 2 hour delay due to heavy rain but they compensated with 2 free tickets for any Monday-Thursday game for the rest of the season. read more

This is one of the better ballparks I've been to but everything is SO EXPENSIVE OMG. I know we're coming off a year of no fans but jeez. $20 for some chicken fingers and a soda and another $20 for a (super cute) cocktail mason jar souvenir. That one did come with alcohol to be fair. Whoever made this ballpark did it right. So much steel on display and the outfield opens up to the view of the city. Loved it. read more
Although the Pirates have recently been described as a "hodgepodge of nothingness" our ballpark is frequently listed as the most beautiful in MLB. There is nothing better than spending a summer night enjoying the game and the views. My favorite seat is in Section 217 in the Pittsburgh Baseball Club. You can't beat the perfect view of home plate, the field and our gorgeous downtown. My photo was taken August 17 at sunset. Cheer "Let's Go Bucs!" while sipping a cold beverage. Despite our losing record, the Bucs are usually in the game until the 9th inning and it is always fun to beat a top team like the Yankees and Brewers. Take me out to the ballgame! read more

Best ballpark around. You'll enjoy your time here even if you don't like baseball. The view on a sunny day is spectacular. Many food choices. Cashless. Read no bag policy. Club level seats well worth it was AC inside seating & food choices & bars & TV. Plus outdoor patios. Great sightlines. Fireworks night is always awesome. Let's Go Bucs! read more
Best park in the mlb!!! We took a tour before the game and got an inside look at the park! The food and drinks are very pricey but they let you bring in sealed waters and snacks. Lots of places to get food if you are looking to do that. Not a bad seat in the house! read more
Fabulous time at PNC Park despite a 2-hr storm delay after the first inning. A midnight ending with a Pirates win capped it off nicely--too bad we were Reds fans. There don't seem to be any bad seats in this park. We were 3rd base field level near the top but it still felt like we were on top of the action. This is the best skyline view of any MLB park. You can reach out and grab the buildings they're so close. They loom over the outfield like foreboding fans waiting to catch a home run. Walking across the bridge was electric among all the fans--coming and leaving (a win helped). Plenty of parking within walking distance on the other side of the river was cheap compared to other parks. Great chances to move around and see the perspective from different locations around the park as well. My son enjoyed looking over the wall into the bullpen in center field. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a really nice atmosphere around the stadium. I'd expect no less with the great fans in Pittsburgh. We'll hope to get back there one day!Easy parking factor: options abound in downtown Pittsburgh. With bridges turning to pedestrian-only on game days, it's easy walking to the stadium accompanied by spirited Pirates fans. Cheap ticket factor: since it's not the 90s (or 70s) anymore, you can find plenty of decent seats for not that much money. Sit facing the outfield if you want to take in the skyline view, but sub-$20 and even single-digit ticket prices exist. Welcoming factor: the aforementioned pedestrian bridge-walking makes for a great pre-game experience. Mingle with the locals who think this might be the year they go deep in the playoffs again. Food factor: Cashless, so leave those bills at home, or use the reverse-ATM to turn paper $$ into bitcoin (actually just a prepaid Visa). Grab BBQ at Manny's or Familee (Pittsburgh Cone), Quinoa Blueberry Salad for you high-brow folk, "Fire in the Hole" at BRGR for the rest. Move freely about the cabin factor: usually plenty of elbow room when it's not opening day, with the best skyline views in the majors. Peer down on the relief pitchers warming up from the outfield bridge. Grab a homerun ball from a bleacher seat during your late-inning stroll. Little kid souvenir factor: Plenty of visitor autographs for the cute kids if you have them, with some great foul-ball catching during visitor BP. There's also enough lore from yesteryear to entertain the young and old kids in your group. While ours was a 2.5 hour rain-delay that ended close to midnight, the electric atmosphere and skyline that feels like you can touch it over right field almost outdo the rabid black-and-yellow weird-hatted fans, almost. After the game thankfully it was only a short walk back across those yellow bridges to parking and hotels. It was a fun experience we'll hope to repeat at PNC. read more

I've been a Pirates fan for 40 some years. I've never seen a championship team, except when I was 3 years old they won the World Series. But I can't recall that. These days it's a lot of bad ball play. But I have to say what they've did with the ball park is amazing. They've really set this place up. In the outfield you have an area that used to be seats but now it's an area where you can sit, relax, eat and drink and catch a great glimpse in outfield. We went recently and had front row outfield seats but never left our seats in the relaxed area and watched the game there. Outstanding job Pittsburgh pirates organization. They have new areas for burgers and chicken. The chicken was cold so complaint there but next time I will see again. It's self checkout now. Walk up touch screen, choose what you want, pay on card and get a ticket number and it goes into the queue. In addition they have two large bar areas that is added. One is Nicks Fathead brewery and other local microbrews. Then what about all of the extra seats in the area. It's amazing.. can't wait to see the tigers come to town. read more
BEST BASEBALL PARK worst baseball team. The only reason you go to PNC park is for the sheer tear jerking beauty of this magnificent ball park. We thought for a brief moment this year that the Pirates would be good... FALSE but my time at PNC park is always enjoyable due to the spectacular views. Have an IC Light and enjoy watching the Pirates probably lose and if your lucky win! read more
Visited PNC Park this past July to watch the Pirates versus my Milwaukee Brewers, as I was in town for a family reunion, and was happy to see my Brew Crew in this famous ballpark. Parking across the street was no problem- the guy said there was a 20% tax for cheering for the opposing team though- haha- we encountered a lot of friendly Pirates fans, employees, supporters, that's always nice when you're the visiting team. Parking in a lot across the street was as much as Miller Park parking is a mile away from the park- very affordable ballpark prices. PNC is an older park, but I didn't expect to have to walk a circular ramp mile up to the top tiers. Still, being in the top tiers, facing out towards the outfield Beautiful Views! There really isn't a bad seat in the park! We ate a meal beforehand, but our snack was Crab Fries, and damn those were good! (Old Bay Seasoning on fries). I had a local craft beer, so yay! Pirates fans were really nice to us and a group of them gave my girlfriend (a PGH native) and her daughters all Pirates hats to wear. The girls got a free ice cream for fan appreciation (kids) day. We saw the Racing Pierogies and we had a great visit to PNC Park! read more
I'm not at all a sports person, but came here to experience a baseball game while in town. Love love loveeee the skyline view, especially on a night when the sunset was perfect. Great way to experience a game/event and also view the Pittsburgh skyline. While we got tickets, after we were on our way out, we noticed that the area that was at the back end of the baseball field was the best, most "hopping" part of the venue, so I'd encourage you to check that area out if you're looking to make it more of a social event with light focus on the game. read more
Had a wonderful, 1st time, at PNC Park to see the Pirates play against the Chicago Cubs. You Yinzers are so nice!!! Everyone I encountered from the moment we walked through the gates met me with a smile and were so accommodating!!! The food was great...who can't get with some hot buttery popcorn, a little drinkin', a hot dog ( yes...I know..I'm vegan, but I had to do it!) Some cotton candy, and a sweet little guy who exhausts and exhilarates me at the same time. Pittsburgh you are such a nice city. Keep the kindness alive!!! Go Pirates!!!! read more
Home to the Pittsburgh Pirates, PNC Park ranks near the top among Major League Baseball ballparks I've been to. It's been beautifully constructed to have a backdrop of the Roberto Clemente bridge and a panoramic view of the picturesque Pittsburgh skyline beyond the outfield. The public areas within the stadium are modern and well maintained, and very fan-friendly staff members, making for a welcoming day out at the ballpark. The stadium is located right on the river of the North Shore area of Pittsburgh, easily accessible from downtown or even via ferry from Station Square. I opted for the Gateway Clipper ferry as I figured it may be my only unique opportunity to arrive at a sporting event via boat, taking in scenic views of the city along the way. The pirate theming definitely added to the flair of the venue. They had a Pittsburgh Pirates cap giveaway the day I went and it was of pretty decent quality. My one major critique would be the concessions were way overpriced (even for ballpark standards) and weren't of high quality, but won't let it tarnish my rating of the this beautiful ballpark and otherwise great experience. PNC Park is definitely worth a visit for a fun day out at the ballpark. read more

This a very nice intimate ballpark. Located downtown with T access and many parking options (some which are prepaid. Not a bad seat in the house. Many food choices including local favorites. Views of the river and baseball what more do you need on a Sunday afternoon? They have plenty to distract the kids on the promenade plus cold beer & other beverages for mom & dad. Definitely returning to this park. read more

Went down to see the good ol pirates for a work party but as you can expect, we didn't watch much baseball since we're terrible. The park is one of the best in the MLB and I strongly recommend at least once in your life you get to experience the views (especially since tickets are so cheap) The image you see attached was one of the restaurants in the box's so it isn't available everywhere in the part Overall good experience at the park and if you want to make your money back it's always a safe play to bet against the pirates after the all-star break ! read more
A fun park, nice views and great people watching, then again any park has the same kinds of offerings. It is fitting that the park is made from steel beams, which is what this city was once so well known for, once upon a time. This was a first time watching a game in here, it was fun, very similar to any park in any other state, even back at Comerica Park too. The game wasn't that interesting, but being present was cool. They had fireworks afterwards, par for the course at most games it seems. read more
I love baseball. When we found out we were going to be in Pittsburgh and the Bucs were gonna be home there was no doubt we were going to see a game. Since we were staying just across the Clemente Bridge we were able to just walk to the game. We got into the stadium early enough to watch the Reds take batting practice and walk completely around the stadium to check out the food options. Before going to our seats we decided to eat (it was a 1:30 game so it was lunchtime. We decided to stop at Manny's BBQ (Manny Sanguillen) and had what we THOUGHT was the most Pittsburgh food we could find (until we got to the Pens game later that night). I had a Pierogi Hoagie (sub roll with two pierogis and topped with pulled pork-OMG) and Wifey had pulled pork nachos (also amazing). We found our way down to our seats and got to spend a beautiful April day in the sun watching a great ballgame that the Pirates won in extra innings. This is an awesome stadium with great sight lines, great food, and a tip of the hat to their history. Sadly they took the Negro League statues down a couple years ago, but they do have banners up for some of the greats out by Pops Plaza. If my son comes to school here I will be back...a LOT. read more

No matter where you sit, there's always a great view of the city at Pnc Park! Love going to the Pirates games! On Fridays they have happy hour at the Crows Nest before the game starts. It's 1/2 off beers, which is a great deal because of how expensive things are at the stadium. Also they don't allow larger bags inside the stadium so try to bring as little as possible! They have good food selections, the crab fries are my favorite! You can also enjoy the classics, cheeseburger, hot dogs & chicken tenders, that never disappoint. They also have Quaker Steak if you're feeling wings. read more
What a beautiful ballpark! Came for a visit on a quest to see all the MLB ballparks. We heard many good things about this ballpark and we understand why! The views are unbeatable! Especially of the Pittsburgh skyline and the Roberto Clemente bridge in the background. The higher up you are, the better the view. And you can still see everything happening on the field even in the 300s level. It's not like other ballparks where at the 300s level you feel like you're literally watching ants run on the field. Very family friendly and the overall vibes are great. Definitely one of my favorites out of the ballparks that I've been to so far. read more

I am headed to PNC park for a 1:00 game on August 2 (Tuesday). We have the option of taking a Sprinter van that seats 9 (there are 8 of us) but I am not sure we will be ale to park it in one of the lots? Does anyone have any advice?
