Had an early dinner here a couple days ago... Wife got the seafood enchiladas which she caid was good but really had no spices or anything to season it... I had a shrimp burrito which was very good but was kinda disappointed with the plating... Looked like a burrito drowning in bean "sauce" lol but it was quite asty none the less... Customer service was excellent except for the fact that our server never asked or even mentioned desert which we were planning on getting... So, we left with no dessert... My only real complaint with this place is that it really looks like the restaurant needs to be updated.. Its very blah to the eyes and dont look very clean... Have been here a few times with somewhat favorable results when ordering standard plates (taco, burrito, fajitas, etc). Decided to deviate from the standard and tried the Chilaquiles. Was disappointed how far removed this dish was from its authentic version. First, it is supposed to be made with stale leftover corn tortillas but instead they used their thinner house tortilla chips. Second, the tortilla pieces are supposed to be cooked in the red sauce and their plate just doused red sauce over top the house tortillas chips. Third, the cheese they used was mozzarella-like instead of the classic Fresco or Cotija cheese. Basically, it was an order of Nachos not Chilaquiles so not sure why they would have this on their menu if they already have Nachos on the menu as it seems redundant. If you are interested in a more Americanized style of Mexican food this is the place to visit, however, if it's authentic plates your looking for then keep searching for something else. read more

The main thing you need to know about this place is their portions are huge, you definitely feel full after leaving this place. It's a great place to have dinner before going to the local NCG to watch a movie, or even a good place to stop by afterwards. The food was decent, definitely not five star quality food, but it was tasty. Their salsa was great, I have had better, but it was definitely not bad at all. I had their burrito and enchilada and both were tasty, meat inside needed some more seasoning, but overall it wasn't too bad. As far as price goes, you can't beat the big portion sizes you get here vs the price. Total it was 8.50 for a huge burrito, enchilada, beans and rice, plus the chips and salsa. I definitely left full after eating at this restaurant. For dessert, which my kind friend let us try, we got the tres leches cake. It was good, but not the best tres leches I have ever had. It started out ok and the place looks decent, but as soon as they bright our food out EVERYTHING was wrong. My sons chicken was so burnt, I wouldn't eat it. Then they brought out more and they were ok.... I ordered a chicken and a beef taco, I got 2 beef. They brought out a chicken one after I said something. And I had to wait for our server to come back... oh wait- she was busy bar tending, so my husband had to find someone else to bring us the ranch and hot sauce we had asked for. The food was just ok. And to top it off- the kids meals don't come with a drink and they ordered quesadillas with rice and beans... just one kids meal- cheese quesadilla 3.25, rice 1.99, beans 1.99, sweet tea 1.99. That's crazy for kids!!! After they gave me the check - nothing was taken off or discounted. We won't be back! The last time we were there the people in the booth behind us were almost shouting to carry on a conversation with their friends because the music was blaring. So we'll start at the beginning, we had a party of 7. We were originally told it was a 20 minute wait. 30 minutes pass and we're still waiting. We asked politely about the wait time and she said probably 20 more minutes. So after approximately an hour we proceeded to get upset and ask again and the host was extremely rude. Once we were finally sat, our server took 15 minutes to even greet the table and another ten minutes just to bring the non alcoholic drinks out. The margaritas took half an hour to come out and and they were melted. Finally the food came out and it was not flavorful or very tasty. Also the server never came and checked on us once the food actually came out. It took 30 minutes for the checks to come out and that was the last we saw of her.
