Mexican food is generally pass/fail for me. My dad and I came in on St Patrick's Day bc who wants to deal with crowds at an Irish pub? Will this place was surprisingly lively! We sat at the bar for a beer and chips while we got a takeaway order. Food took a long time, but again, it was crowded. I tend to always get the carnitas for my first visit to any Mexican restaurant. Not very good. They packaged the pork apart from the sauce, which I thought was smart. But by the time I got home, they were rock-hard, dry, and virtually inedible. Not smart. Rest of food was ok. In a crowded category like Mexican cuisine, you probably have to do better. Maybe we should have dined in, so I will try again and update this review when I do. read more

This is our favorite mexican place in the area for food. The enchiladas are awesome and the steak tacos sheer perfection. The patio is comfy, the bar packed with regulars, and the service is always great. I have never had a bad meal here. The only thing I don't like there is the cheap frozen margaritas from the machine. They taste great, very different than anyplace else, but my bestie and I both feel like crap in 2 hours. I drive past 6-8 other places to go here for mexican. read more

This Mexican restaurant is set back off of Cobb Parkway (Hwy 41) in a strip shopping center shared with Staples. Over the years this location has expanded their footprint and offers booths and tables inside along with outside seating in a covered patio. They have a full bar with numerous drink options (see the bar menu photo). Upon being seated we were greeted with a basket of fresh chips and two bowls of salsa. Our waitress greeted us and took our drink orders. It was mid-afternoon on a Friday and the test was busy with numerous customers. My better half ordered the Pablanos Rellenos which is two Pablano peppers stuffed with you choose of cheese, chicken, or beef brisket (she chose the brisket and cheese). Her Rellenos were awesome and included guacamole. I ordered the Enchiladas Pablanos which is three enchiladas stuffed with shredded chicken and covered in three sauces (cheese dip, salsa ranchero and salsa verde) and all 3 are covered with sour cream. These enchiladas were scrumptious and included a fresh slice of tomato and beans in a crispy tortilla shell. Our server was great! She refilled our drinks and checked in on us without being intrusive. We hadn't dined at this Mexican restaurant for several years but we will definitely return for some more delicious meals and drinks. Give them a try for some authentic Mexican dishes served by friendly staff. read more

I really love Poblanos and have for years, the quality has stayed great. I typically order for take out but have been in for service recently. It is a bit loud but that is because it's super popular and for good reason, great value and flavor. It's always well packaged when taking out, everything is flavorful which isn't the case with every tex mex. Staff is nice when eating in. I recommend the enchiladas of any kind. We're also a fan of the queso with beans. It's very heavy on the queso so you don't have to worry about just getting a bean dip. read more

Poblanos is just as good as many Mexican restaurants I've been to in San Diego only much, much cheaper since it's in Georgia. I ordered the Enchiladas Poblanas .... So good! The service was amazing and everyone was friendly. The drinks were good but strong. I had two strawberry margaritas and my date had the Texas margarita. Our waitress told us it was the strongest they have. Onto to the food, it was bland. Like no salt, pepper, garlic nothing! We had chicken and salmon tacos. Needless to say, we didn't like our tacos. We ordered empanadas as well and they were not good either. We were both disappointed with our entire meal. We did loved the drinks and service. For a strip-mall restaurant, it's excellent. Service has consistently been good, and their food tastes delicious. Orders are consistently accurate, and staff is friendly. The people who work here seem to like it. It's almost always crowded. They do have outdoor seating. It's overlooking a road and parking lot, but hey, it's outdoor seating. We got $2 Blue Moon drafts & split an order of pork tacos (tacos de cerdo, I believe), which comes with 3 tacos, rice & charro beans. By the time you finish 1 1/2 baskets of chips, beer, a nice size taco, & half each of the rice & beans, we actually took the last taco home. This keeps the bill down, and even so, we had very solid and friendly service so be sure to tip generously! The ambiance is your typical casual Mexican restaurant, with some Mexican themed decor, TVs on the wall and fairly loud but not uncomfortable. My partner had fajita bowl, uncooked chicken i suppose she had food poisoning she had vomitted 10 times since this morning. Luckily i threw most of mine as it was just cheese . Girls' night and we were ready for some Mexican! We were prepared to wait 50 min for Uber Eats to deliver our meal. This is where things went south, making our delivery person very upset. She was told the food would be ready in 25 min. Forty-five min later she called me to say she was still waiting on our order. All in all it took over almost two hours to get our food. Way too long for a simple order to be fixed and ready for delivery. Fortunately, the food was good and we enjoyed our meal. But I will not order from them again. Escorted my handicapped elderly MIL to restroom. She cannot use regular stall so we waited for handicapped stall to become unoccupied. Urgently we waited forever! She began asking that person to hurry. Eventually an employee came out with her phone in hand and a change of clothes. It was too late and we had an unfortunate accident on our hands. There were no paper towels in the handicapped stall for the accompanied sink. Employees should not be permitted to camp out in the handicapped stall to change clothes and text/talk on their phones. The food is average. So are the prices and drinks. They seem to stay very busy so there must be some appeal. Personally I don't see it. read more

In fact it's one of the only few times I left a Mexican restaurant and didn't eat everything on my plate. I left most of it as I walked out. The chips were perfect! You can't make chips much better than these. The salsa had almost no flavor. It tasted like out of season tomatoes. Where is the cilantro? Where is the onion? I ordered the taco, enchilada and beans combo. It was bland and not very good. I was met promptly and pleasantly at the door. I was seated immediately. My server was great and fast. Really good food at a decent price. The interior of the restaurant could use some updating but the patio is lovely. Even in December weather it was heated and very comfortable for lunch.
