It's just a short walk from the beach and the area is loaded with food and drinks and this was the first place we stopped in to grab a drink. The service wasn't great but the drinks were. We ordered a couple piña coladas and a Medalla. Both ice cold and delicious. We sat outside on the patio on one of the picnic tables and people watched while enjoying our drinks. We walked in and the place was completely empty, the lady greeted us and quickly took our orders. I ordered a ham, egg and cheese sandwich and asked for the yolk to be slightly runny with a café con leche. My mom a medianoche (Cuban on sweet bread made in house) / My aunt ordered a pastrami. Each came to the table a few minutes later, pipping hot even though a line had formed immediately after sitting down. I knew that was a good sign. All three were each so flavorful, hot, fresh and filling. My sandwich was so satisfying with it's cheesy-egg goodness that the girls wanted to come back the following day!
