The food here was very tasty. At the counter, the guy helping us was very accommodating with vegetarian options for my husband. I was sad he was out of tomato juice for a michelada, but it didn't ruin the day. I got the chicken tortilla soup which was very flavorful. The hot sauce that was brought out was not in a bottle, which is a welcome change. My husband and I also shared a cucumber poke bowl. I added edamame which was very good - highly recommend for the texture and protein content. My husband got the nachos with no meat. My only feedback would be to spread the cheese more across the chips. It was still quite good. The location took us a minute to find, make sure you put walking directions if you use a phone app. Otherwise you end up in a parking garage. The ambiance is nothing fancy, but it's clean and the view is nice outside.

The food and ingredients were fresh and left us feeling full and more healthy than some of the other local cuisine. We ate the seared ahi tuna bowl, ahi tuna tacos and ribeye beef tacos. Everything was fresh, delicious and the perfect size to share between 2 people. We also requested extra green salsa, spicy mayo and eel sauce. All fresh and amazing. They also have fresh juices made daily for detoxing and everyday antioxidants as well as house made cocktails! Best of both worlds. We will happily be returning to Cruda before our vacation ends!
Cruda was such a great find in San Juan. Super fresh ingredients, flavorful, and the bowl was filling without feeling heavy. Everything tasted clean and fresh, and you can tell care goes into the food. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted high quality, and the whole place had an easy, laid-back vibe. Bonus points for being so close to the Caribe Hilton -- perfect for a quick walk and a healthy lunch. Would absolutely go back. The staff member helping us was also very friendly.
Hidden Gem! Looking for a healthy alternative to indulgent PR food and stumbled upon this little restaurant that has amazing dishes! I order a dish similar to a tuna poke bowl. I also got a green pressed juice and a generous pour of house red. Very casual ambiance. Couple of tables inside as well as patio seating outside. Staff was friendly and spoke English which was a plus for an American. Would definitely return on next visit!
Fresh and made to order dishes at this little hideaway in the shopping and professional park area near the Caribe Hilton Hotel. They also offer beverages, including alcohol, in a cooler near the counter. Few tables to sit and eat indoors and outdoors, so likely this is more of a takeaway place. Many choices from poke bowls, chicken katsu, and other Hawaiian/Japanese fusion dishes.
I've eaten at Cruda twice now, and I have loved my meals both times. Their poke bowls are TO DIE FOR! Not only are they super yummy, but they are HUGE...you will definitely be full after one of them. I also really liked their tostones...if you are looking for a little "Puerto Rico" to go with your "Hawaii," these yummy, fried plantains are the perfect complement. Their beer selection is also huge. Prices are very reasonable and service is fast. They have outdoor seating in addition to a couple tables indoors. They are located in the small shopping center across from the Caribe Hilton on the bottom floor.
100% recommend, I got the katsu chicken wrap and the mahi mahi tacos. So delicious! This was our first meal on vacation and will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu. The food tasted well seasoned and fresh. The restaurant is clean and simple inside. Took a little while to find the restaurant but well worth the search :)
This is a very small, counter service restaurant, but the food is delicious. It has cute decorations inside, and also has tables outside. I ordered the Hawaiian tuna poke bowl which was very filling, included a lot of items, and very high quality. My husband ordered the fish tacos that he also enjoyed. The food came out pretty quickly. It is a small place that may be over looked but I would recommend giving it a try! There are so many options you are bound to find something you'll enjoy! They also had alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine. Try it out! read more

This is a nice little cafe tucked away next to condos & the Caribe Hilton. Fresh food, attentive service and delicious margaritas. They have a few seats indoors and lots of outdoor seating available. If you stay near that area it's a must try. We enjoyed a nice dinner with the local crowd. read more

This is a great local spot. We ordered the spicy crab avocado wrap and the grilled mahi wrap. Both were delicious! This was the first place we ate at after arriving to San Juan. We highly recommend it! read more

One of the best poke I've ever had! Try Hawaiian poke 10/10 everything was fresh and well seasoned. Korean wing has little kick to it so if you like spicy must try! Juice tastes so healthy and fresh. Employees are super friendly and nice. read more

Love this place!! So fresh. I both enjoy their food and feel so well after eating it. This was a unique and wonderful experience on the island. I truly recommend it! It's also so well priced for what you get in portion sizes. When you compare this to what's offered at the Caribe Hilton, it's a no brainer where to eat! Additionally, I have a severe gluten allergy. They were so accommodating even modifying options to my liking. The owner Giselle is amazing! So kind and thoughtful! She gave us other restaurant recommendations too. Absolutely amazing. I stayed at the Caribe Hilton across the road and was struggling to find a tasty and affordable lunch. Cruda had to be the best meal I had in San Juan. I had the sesame seared tuna tacos which were incredible. The flavors worked so well together and the tuna was fresh. I also got the pork dumplings which were very delicious as well. The jibarito was very flavorful and a great meal for lunch. Overall this restaurant is very unique and created outstanding combinations that are hard to find anywhere else. This place is a must!!! read more
