I was pleasantly surprised to find the store very clean and welcoming unlike other Rite Aid's I have visited in the past. Kimberly approached me asking if I needed assistance and quickly helped me find everything I needed. To my surprise she was the manager and found time to interact with not just me but other customers. She made my shopping experience amazing. I will be a return shopper, at least to this store.

CVS, which 30 years ago put a ton of mom and pops out of business saying they provided Convenience, Value and Service (CVS) is now a joke. Their prescriptions are more expensive than any other place. Their non-pharmacy items are more expensive than anywhere else. And now with total self check out there's no one to help you if you need something. Lately I've noticed some smaller, Privately owned pharmacies are opening up. My research is showing they will provide better service at reasonable prices for me so I'm done with CVS. Customer service suffers because the environment seems tense and badly managed. Instead of creating a helpful and professional atmosphere, management comes across as rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Recently switched to Sussex from Rite Aid due to my insurance no longer considers Rite Aid as a…read morepreferred pharmacy. I started with my new insurance as of January 1, 2021 and it's now Feb, 3. The transfer was anything but smooth. COnfusion in prescriptions and the number of refills left drove me crazy. Getting refills is a whole different problem. It's taken 5 days in some cases to get a script filled. Sometimes they call and let you know it's ready and other times they don't, you have to follow up. I've dealt with several other pharmacies they all have their quirks, but Sussex has to be the worst one I have ever dealt with in my life. If you have a choice of pharmacies it's advisable to avoid this one.
