A stop on one of the tours (chocolate shop)

A fun, easy, relaxing way to learn about and see multiple areas in the Poconos! Friendly guides, historic old trolley , complete with a modern slide show. Recommended for first time visitors wanting to get a lay of the land. Also good on damp days bc the trolley has plastic roll down windows to keep you dry.

Peter is the greatest! Super friendly, very knowledgeable about the area and the places he took us to. And he was funny! He even picked us up at our hotel so we didn't have to worry about drinking and driving. We visited 2 vineyards, a winery, and a distillery. Because of an unforeseen emergency he was a bit late so he paid for a few rounds for all of us! So kind. It was an amazing activity we did on our honeymoon and I'm so glad we did. I highly recommend

Great tours and rates. The NYC day trip is very very good and you see a lot of sites and hear a lot of history about the city.

Are any tasting fees included in the wine trolley tours or does the cost just cover transportation?

It depends on the tour. Generally tours do not include tastings but we do have some midweek tours that do. If you have any question, please reach out to us 570-977-7731 :)

The atmosphere is peaceful and you feel like stepping into a different world, forgetting all the daily hurdles and just enjoying the moment. The staff who works there is really talented on telling about the life at the farm couple of hundreds of years ago, and they tell you some insightful stories and examples of the past. You are also encouraged to ask many questions from the staff and it is great to hear about all the details of everything. There are several farm buildings to visit which you also get to tour, and many animals who you also might get to pet. The farm store is also amazing, selling many interesting items and some crafts from the local artists which are not over priced. Remember to reserve plenty of time (2-3 hrs) and take some picnic items with if needed (there's good spots for a picnic) and a curious mind for a great visit at the historic farm!

It's now owned by a historical society and largely volunteer run. This is the kind of place that several generations of locals come to volunteer. If I lived nearby, I'd gladly volunteer and would love to lead a tour:-) The farm is quaint, cozy and affordable. It was $12 for adults for their 1.5 hour+ tour and Christmas presentation. $6 for children under 12. The crackling fire wood, the wet leaves crunching under your feet, and the friendly, welcome of the volunteers, who are excellent and clearly love this place, all made my experience five star. This historic farm is two hours from NYC, but worlds away, in a good way. I did a day trip but nearby affordable hotels abound. At the end of the tour, we were lead to their dining room, with a choice of hot cocoa or hot apple cider and two surprise (mine were snickerdoodle and molasses) cookies or a homemade Bavarian style pretzel. Free parking and I learned about the events they offer including farm to table in the summer and spooky nights during Halloween, to name a few. They cook with all the vegetables they grow and serve them at an outdoor meal. Check them out with your friends and family. You'll be glad you did.

We didn't buy tickets in advance, but it was unclear where to go to get tickets and meet the tour. On the parking lot level, they rent out rooms to third party businesses who will not help direct you. The street parking level (downstairs) has a bunch of small shops and the ticket area way in the back. This was all pretty unclear the day of. The hotel seems like a work in progress still, but it's nice it was saved. The Delaware Water Gap used to be a hip and happening place and most of those turn of the century hotels are gone now, so it's nice this was saved from demolition thanks to a second era as a music publishing company by Fred Waring (of blender fame) and a third era as a restoration project from a couple wanting to save its history. The tour goes through the old soda shoppe, outside for a little bit to see the general area, then into the event venue space/original lobby. It's too bad there are no restored hotel rooms to see or book at present. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and seeing the remnants of tourism a hundred years ago was cool. I hope as time goes on, more areas get restored to their more original look.

He had lots of famous people working with him including the writer of 'Conjunction Junction What's your Function'. The tour was just about and hour and definitely interesting! While you are there for the tour you can tour the shops, there is a nice assortment as well as an adorable Ice Cream shop. Definitely check the website before going, tours are only done on specific days. I felt the tour was a good value. There is limited off street parking, but on street parking it also available.

The museum is run by his son Frank Frazetta Jr and Frank Jr's family. The tour was given by Laura, Frank Sr's daughter in law. His grandchildren work the gift shop counter. The grounds surrounding the museum are private property where Frank lived with his wife, Eleanor. As far as museum experiences go, this was one of my absolute favorites! The Museum is housed in the original school along with authentic desks, books, and photos of the children that attended class there. You can set in a desk from the early 1900's to watch the short film about the history of the Delaware Water Gap. The film depicts the town as it looked 100 years ago. It also had a photo of Fred Astaire, which was a local resident. It is hard to believe, looking at the way the town is now, but this area was the second largest resort town in the country in the 19th century. Of all the grand hotels that were once here, only two are standing. Among the artifacts at the museum are dishes, arrow heads, old photos, and many other old interesting things. There are also photos of the town when it was under water. The last time it was under water was in 2006. The Water Gap has been under water a few times during this century and each time the town does rebuild. When I was at the museum, a lady came in and introduced herself to the guide as a teacher that taught in this building years ago. She did not say how many years....but it was a long time ago. Wow...what a treat to actually meet a person who taught in this school house. The first floor is an art gallery. The art on display was from local artist and was priced very reasonable. This Museum is a must see if you are in the area of Delaware Water Gap.
