A stop on one of the tours (chocolate shop)

A fun, easy, relaxing way to learn about and see multiple areas in the Poconos! Friendly guides, historic old trolley , complete with a modern slide show. Recommended for first time visitors wanting to get a lay of the land. Also good on damp days bc the trolley has plastic roll down windows to keep you dry.

Peter is the greatest! Super friendly, very knowledgeable about the area and the places he took us to. And he was funny! He even picked us up at our hotel so we didn't have to worry about drinking and driving. We visited 2 vineyards, a winery, and a distillery. Because of an unforeseen emergency he was a bit late so he paid for a few rounds for all of us! So kind. It was an amazing activity we did on our honeymoon and I'm so glad we did. I highly recommend

Great tours and rates. The NYC day trip is very very good and you see a lot of sites and hear a lot of history about the city.

Ask the Community - Pocono Daytripper

Are any tasting fees included in the wine trolley tours or does the cost just cover transportation?

It depends on the tour. Generally tours do not include tastings but we do have some midweek tours that do. If you have any question, please reach out to us 570-977-7731 :)

It's a simple set up and the team of Jake and Dennis worked well together preparing a French-based meal. 1 complimentary glass of wine, byob if you need more. We certainly appreciated the nuances of the meal being prepared. Our salads were fantastic. The shrimp soup tasted complex but was flat and needed a lot more seasoning. Our steak dinner was very similar. We appreciated the mushroom-based sauce and the steak was cooked perfectly. But again, the flavors were muted, nothing savory. The home made bread was excellent. Last was dessert. We are not a fan of pouring any kind of fruit sauce or drizzle on our chocolate... although the chocolate mousse itself was solid. The strawberry drizzle kinda ruined it for us. Again, we appreciated the experience and learned a few things. Definitely an experience I'd recommend once... and maybe we'll be back.

On January 22, 2026 their Southwest France night did not disappoint. The meal was excellent from start to finish. We began with Hoisin duck tacos, followed by lobster and crab ravioli, then stuffed pork loin, and the meal wrapped things up nicely with a delicious brownie and crème anglaise. This experience is a great way to enjoy new flavors and new wines while you learn about the food is prepared and the history and origins of the wine. We are big fans as this was our 3rd visit in 2026. We have a few more visits already planned.

I felt we had been friends hanging out for years talking about each detail of the area, and I have never been anywhere near any of these streets before. We started at the local cheese and meat shop just up the block, where we had a few tasty treats. Personally, I could have spent the rest of the afternoon tasting the cheese and meats, but off we went to our next stop of balsamic and oil tastings. Off to an expresso spot and then to learn more about the neighborhood shops and stands. We took a short walk over to see some wonderful side streets where we were brought over for dessert and then a local favorite spot for some Grandma's pizza. Each spot we made it to was filled with life, and you can see in Jacquie's smile how she loved sharing the community with others. Next time we make it back to the area, we will look up to see what other tours she offers. Easy short walks and not hard for any age.

The pros: Our tour guide/bus driver, Don, was excellent. He seriously made the whole trip. He was so kind and helpful and fun loving, he was a great match for our group. The wine tour was excellent we had an extensive tour of the grounds and they make their wine. It was the best tour we got the whole trip. The brewery had corn hole which made a great activity as our day was winding down. The pub lunch was great and had choices for everyone. Cons: Definitely overpriced for "tasting tours" when out of the three places when we only got one real "tour". Pretty disappointed and we all wished we got actual tours of the distillery and brewery since that is what we paid for. We were able to take the train from Center City to Doylestown. At Doylestown, their driver - Linda (actually the founder) was there to greet us. Leading up to the planning of this event, we worked with Linda and had a very good experience. She knew the area, suggested eateries and talked about the country side. All this just added what I call "free extras" to the already low price. Plus there are shopping baskets, bottles of water, and storage cases for new wine while on your journey. This is a well thought out operation. We had a group of 5. Our biggest concern is who we would sit with on the bus; however, after the first stop everyone was loosened up (the first stop allows you to pour or own samples!) and the conversations just started rolling out. We had a great time and thanks to Linda for making it work out.
