I don't have a Juki dealer close by me in DE but I would drive here for specific Juki help. I have taken a Brother Embroidery machine to three different repair stores and my issue with tension was not solved until Pocono Sew and Vac had the opportunity to work on the machine. The staff is very friendly and helpful every step of the way. They ask questions when you drop off the machine which is communicated to the repair team. They deliver within the time frame that they tell you to expect. At pickup, they took the time to help load the machine in my car. Having the machine working properly was the most important to me, but I will add that they estimated the repair cost when I dropped it off, and the technician called me to say it didn't need a full service and he charged a much lower fee. The store could have charged me the estimated price and I would have been happy, but having a nice surprise of not needing the full service and not being charged for a full service was truly appreciated. That honesty means so much and when I need the full service, and get charged the full rate I will understand. I will definitely be bringing this machine back to them as soon as I need them. If you are in need of sewing machine service, seriously consider trusting them to get your machine back up and running. read more

I purchased a Janome 15000 and had a date confirmed with Marilyn then the Covid 19 came and the class was postponed several times which led to a cancellation. I called a few days ago to see if any new classes. I spoke to Paul and he told me a rep from Janome was coming to PS&V. He would call me with the particulars . I figured he won't call me back. Well he did and the class was excellent. He was so supportive on the phone. All the staff there is very well trained and attentive. I will definitely attend other classes. We purchased. Handi Quilter Infinity long arm quilter from Pocono Sew and Vac. Paul and Fred and the staff gave us the best price and best service. We took our trade in to them and the men in the warehouse unloaded the trade and loaded the new unit without my help, so efficient. Of course my wife wanted another project so the ladies helped her choose new fabric for the project. This is the number one shop for all your sewing needs. Best for your trade in, best for a new machine, great fabric selection, awesome, friendly and knowledgeable staff and they make the long trip worth it! I live in Maryland, and found this store online. They are simply the best. During the pandemic, when everybody was looking for sewing machine parts, the staff here were exceptionally helpful. I could call to check the inventory before I ordered, and the person answering the phone would walk to the floor and get the item to confirm they had it in stock (during the beginning of supply chain issues when everyone was sewing). Then when walking foot I purchased here stopped working -- a design issue-- I wrote a negative review for the part. Well, Fred contacted me and said he fixed several of these, and wouldn't I send it to him to fix. I sent it off, and he fixed it to better than before. I am such a happy sewist with the fixed part! Definitely the staff goes many steps above and beyond customer service. They could teach customer service. read more

The ladies working here were very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming! They sell a ton of equipment and supplies for sewing, embroidery and quilting. They have a huge room in the back for classes, and they offer free "learn your machine" lessons. I don't sew (my sister does) but coming here made me a lot more interested in learning. They also have a "lounge" in the back corner with a couch, TV, and snacks (cookies, coffee, tea). read more

I have never received the level of customer service and integrity at any shop of any kind in my 50+ years. I purchased a replacement part for my sewing machine and the 1st item did not match the description and did not fit my machine. The staff/owners followed up with me by phone and email and were eager to solve the problem - which they did at their expense. The staff were very kind when I called, immediately explained how they would handle it and followed through on every step. I'm thrilled that today I received the replacement and it fits perfectly. For me, this shop is worth time spent traveling for fabric, sewing supplies and classes. The customer service is a very big part of why I go. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. They have always made my shopping and class room experiences enjoyable. The staff responds quickly to emails and ships products quickly. I went to the shop originally to buy a sewing machine and wasn't sure of what I wanted. There was no pressure, the employee who helped me was very knowledgeable, and the few questions I had she didn't know she got the answer immediately. I ended up with a machine I had not previously thought of and love it. When you go, believe me you will want to shop especially if you love fabric and thread. They have a large selection of sewing machines so take your time. You will need to park in the back. It is metered parking, there is limited parking in front. read more

I'd never even heard of a sew & vac before, and the combination still seems random to me. This shop was full of machines, including a longarm quilter with frame that sells for about $10,000. I was just curious, but the staff tutored me on the operation of several sewing and quilting machines (including the longarm monster). They also stocked exactly the piece I needed for my ancient Fleetwood machine and probably any other sewing machine ever created too...plus fabric and basic sewing supplies. Really, it's a jungle in there. The manager (Jermain?) knew my machine better than I did, but the rest of the staff (ladies) seem kind of batty and disorganized. No matter. By far this is one of the very best local quilt stores I've ever been in! Huge selection of quality fabrics from top designers. Plenty of prints and good selection of tone on tone. A wide selection of sewing, embroidery, serger, and long arm machines. All the accessories to sew and quilt are available. The ladies are extremely knowledgeable and are always will to answer questions or help you blend fabrics. Quilting and sewing classes are offered. Their service department is top notch. They also sell and service vacuum cleaners. Oh, and my husband's favorite spot is the back corner of the store where there is always fresh coffee, cookies, comfy seats, and a TV. It's becoming harder and harder to find HONEST repair shops and this place stands out for their integrity. Over time I have bought new machines and accessories here, too. They have great prices and are very knowledgeable. The staff is always ready to help or just let you try out the machines if that's your preference. We were spending a couple of days in the Poconos to celebrate our anniversary. We decided to go into Stroudsburg and walk around and stumbled on this amazing store! At first, I thought it was a sew & vac repair shop - boy was I wrong! When we walked in, I began drooling at all the machines they had on display! A woman (who I assumed was an owner) came up and asked if we needed help. I explained that I was just looking, but she took the time to explain several different machines to me - and pointed my husband to the 'man cave' at the back of the store (more fabric stores should have this!). She then let me know that all their fabric was on sale and told me to let her know if I needed any help. While their fabric selection was not extensive, it was amazing and high quality. Also, for small shops like this, you expect to pay premium prices for fabric and supplies - not the case here. The prices were very reasonable for the quality, and I was able to find a foot for my sewing machine for less than I could have ordered it on line. I wish I lived closer to Stroudsburg, because I would spend a great deal of time (and money) in this store. When I decide to make a new machine purchase, I definitely will drive down and give them my business! read more

Actually they carry 10 different brands so if you're in the market to try anything out this is the place!
