I have been dealing with Hometown for years. I am very very happy with them. I bought a new washer and dryer last week, they were helpful and they recommended Speed Queen, it was delivered the next day. They installed new washer and dryer and took away old washer and dryer. They were wonderful!!!!!!! My new washer and dryer are fabulous. Also Their service is great, if something is wrong they are very good with coming out and taking care of it. Another happy customer. My 90 father recently bought a new washing machine on January 23rd 2024. In 20 months this month September 11th 2025, it stopped working. So, he went back to Hometown and was told "THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU BUY LOW END MACHINES $593.59 So, I decided to call WHIRLPOOL directly, come to find out "top load washers WTW49955HW has a recall on this model. A WHIRLPOOL SERVICE COMPANY showed up yesterday September 24th 2025 and fixed the washers at NO COST TO HIM. So, much for sales and service from HomeTown, they just wanted to sell him another washer for another $593.59 screwing the 90 year old gentlemen. read more

Purchased all new appliances for our kitchen. Staff was friendly and helpful and price was comparable and even slightly less than I could find anywhere online or in the big box stores. Delivery and installation was professional and neat, and the installer was friendly and helpful. Hopefully many years until we need service, but the gentleman who installed is also factory trained serviceman and we'd be very comfortable having him work on our appliances! We were referred to Hometown Brand by friends of ours who have had previous experiences with them. My wife has low vision and we were concerned about the visibility of the controlles. Tiffany had a technician power up floor models to show us what they looked like. None of the big box stores even considered that. Tiffany filled out the rebate cards for us and the installation went well. We are extremely satisfied with the personal service, sale pricing and installation. We just purchased a new washing machine from them last night. I cannot speak to the delivery or installation as that has not happened yet, but the sales experience was incredible. HIGHLY knowledgeable sales staff and very personable. As an extremely thorough researcher, it's rare that a store's rep knows more than me about the item I am purchasing. Last night was an exception. Also, the entire layout and vibe of the store reminded me of the old-school appliance stores my parents used to bring me to as a kid. If you're looking for quality appliances at good prices with free delivery, free install and free haul away of your old unit and a staff with an excellent knowledge-base. This is the store for you. This review may change after install and post-purchase service but my experience so far had me driving home saying "I'll never buy an appliance from lowes or Home Depot again." When we moved away from the locally owned appliance store we used to use & our fridge decided it wasn't happy about being moved a friend steered us here & am I glad! We found one we liked but they said they had one that was last year's model...and for less (something you like to hear when you just bought a house & moved!) Had to replace the dryer too-I swear appliances communicate & jump off the cliff together! Again, great service for a more basic machine. Our go-to now-they are upfront (asked us to measure the doorway twice to make sure the fridge would fit) they don't do the big store bait & switch..."Isn't it a great price? Here's the extra charges for delivery & install!" Worked with us when a group of friends pooled our money for a gift for the friend who sent us here. We use to get very good appliances from this store But not anymore...., We purchased 5 brand new ones ( stove, microwave refridge, double oven and washer machine) , almost 2 years ago and 4 out of 5 of them broke AT LEAST ONCE ( one of them broke twice) Called them up and when they came out the one service man was rude and called me stupid because the area where the above the stove microwave is has a backsplash underneath ( Duh isnt that NORMAL) behind the stove area?) They then proceeded to tell me they had to remove the microwave and i asked who would pay for the microwave and to repair the backsplash? No answer They didnt even try to work with me AND the microwave was $500 !!!!! I will NEVER buy anything here again!!!!! Rude and cheap!!!! read more

I would think twice before buying an appliance from this store. They did NOT stand by the appliance when there were problems the day after it was delivered and they told me to call the manufacturer. I would not use them ever again to purchase any type of appliance. read more
