Nothing but trouble from the very start. Engine was smoking right from the start. I thought maybe…read moreit would improve as it got broke in. Nope, only got worse. I called numerous times and kept getting the run around. Finally got ahold of Dan in technical support. Very rude. Told me that the 7 year/70,000 mile warranty that Eric had sold me wasn't valid because the engine was supposedly high performance and only had a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. More run around. I finally gave up and figured it was an improperly installed posi-seal on #3 cylinder exhaust valve. I repaired it myself. Still consumes oil and engine coolant. The engine is pretty much worthless to me. Keeps overheating and I'm pretty sure it has melted the heat tabs at this point. I certain they would use that as another excuse to not stand behind their product. No customer service at all. Any one considering purchasing an engine from them BEWARE. Find ANY place else! This place is as worthless as their products. BUYER BEWARE!!!

They sent me an engine with a cracked head and have not responded to my claim submitted through…read moretheir website or any of my emails. I have been trying to contact S&J for more than 7 weeks now. I noticed the crack immediately upon removing the engine from the shipping crate. It is between a coolant passage and intake port. The head also shows obvious signs of repair in that area. There is welding splatter in that coolant passage and on top of the head. This head is not usage, the crack is all the way through.

CONSUMER WARNING If…read moreyou purchased an in-house warranty from Snow's during the last few months, you should review your paperwork immediately. Information indicates that the company knew for months that it would be closing its doors. Despite this, in-house warranties continued to be sold to customers up until the end without telling them they would be void upon closing. The Washington State Attorney General's Office (AGO) aggressively prosecutes businesses that knowingly sell worthless service contracts or hide imminent closures. There are also allegations that some customers were told the store was "moving" or was just not told Intentionally that the company was permanently closing. This was all told for staff to do so by owner Cary Snow, to defraud customers to fund his new businesses before shutting the doors and walking away from the community that have spent their hard earned money supporting a business that doesnt care about them. If you purchased a warranty based on the understanding that the business would continue operating, you may want to carefully review the circumstances surrounding your purchase. Many customers paid extra money (or was included in their purchase) for warranty protection expecting there would be a business available to honor those agreements. With only one week remaining before the store closes permanently, customers who have questions about their warranties should seek answers as soon as possible. Customers deserve clear information about what happens to the warranties they purchased. If you purchased an in-house warranty recently: * Locate and save all receipts and warranty paperwork. * Write down everything you were told at the time of purchase. * Contact consumer protection agencies if you believe you were misled. * Consider speaking with a consumer protection attorney to understand your rights. *contact the better business bureau immediately and make a report. The more people that report the more likely they will move faster. Please share this post to any and all social media you can, so anyone who purchased an in-house warranty from Snow's in recent months has the opportunity to review their situation and make informed decisions. Mr. Snow needs to be held accountable for his egregious actions to the community. This also may be seen in local news stories and articles to help spread the news. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
