Ice cream. 5/5. No notes. Service? I mean, the people who worked there were friendly. It was very little interaction to just get ice cream, though. But they knew what they were doing. It's a cute little building. One room with a counter...typical ice cream bar. The ice cream itself WAS something to write home about. Or at least to write a review about. It was creamy, cold, sweet...as I wanted. But it had a soft fluffy texture in a way, which made it easy to just keep eating. read more

So many flavors to choose from and definitely something for everyone from vegans to gluten free-ers to chocolate lovers etc. The staff kept the line moving quickly but still managed to care for everyone perfectly. This is the best ice cream in New Jersey. Manage mike is super pleasant and the blue berry pie ice cream and the midnight crunch to die for. Service is quick and it feels like a shore vibe through and through. Need to try it if you're in the area. read more

The ice cream is absolutely amazing and I would definitely wait in line for a chance to have it again!! They have a large list of custom flavors that can have mix-ins and other toppings in both soft and hard packed ice cream, together with some vegan flavors as well. The store has a large front patio with a surrounding ledge for customers to sit and eat their ice cream. The ice cream is definitely some of the best I've had, and is well worth the price point. read more

We've ordered the Blueberry Pie ice cream cake for the last 3 years for my son's birthday. This year it's not available but Apple Pie ice cream is available. We ordered it and it was just ok. There were pieces of apple that were frozen and you couldn't eat them. Please bring back Blueberry Pie ice cream, it seems to have been very popular. When you have a good thing, don't change it. read more

Point Creamery is a hidden gem down the shore! I was drawn to Point because of the unique, homemade flavors on the menu. From the classic vanilla to eccentric flavors like blueberry cheesecake and cannoli, Point Creamery has something for everyone, even people with dietary restrictions! There is an extensive menu of dairy-free, nut-free, and vegan ice cream flavors. It was hard choosing between so many delicious flavors, so I had to sample a few before making a decision! I ended up going with the brownie batter sundae flavor, and I loved it. It was rich and chocolatey with chunks of brownie in every bite. My mom had the waffle cone explosion, a flavor that we've never seen in any other ice cream shop before. She loved the mix of waffle cone bites, M&Ms, and chocolate syrup. My sister had a cake batter shake, which was so thick it broke the straw! Point Creamery doesn't have a lot of indoor seating, so we had to eat in our car. The employees behind the counter were all very friendly, and even the people who weren't actively serving were kind and conversational. I will definitely be back to Point Creamery...maybe I'll try the cannoli ice cream next! read more

I'm all about the blueberry pie ice cream! This is one of those spots that whenever we are in Point Pleasant it's a must visit. Perfect for dessert after a nice dinner in the area. All ice cream here is homemade right on premises. So many flavors. Milkshakes too. Seasonal flavors. So creamy. Some vegan options too. Always a nice staff here who let you sample. Prices are decent. I'm craving that blueberry pie ice cream now. For real. read more

Yelper Jennifer T's review sums this place up well, and was the main reason I stopped by when I was a few miles away recently. I could have actually walked to the other notable name in town, and probably would have if my co taster had not mentioned PC. We arrived well before any dinner rush and were able to browse and taste the selection of about 30 flavors, several of which are vegan. I agree the strawberry cheesecake is rich and flavorful, but it's hard for me to not have a chocolate in the mix somewhere. I ultimately opted for rocky road and cherry vanilla. Both very good, the cherry may have been a best in class for that flavor, I'd likely select a darker chocolate on my next visit( that means you Death by chocolate) But, and this is rare for me, I might even go with a fruit flavor. The blueberry cake looked great, as did the strawberry( not to mentioned the above mentioned cheesecake) The counter staff was very friendly and only too happy to allow you to sample. I have to strongly disagree with the one knee jerk review that mentioned price. I ordered a small( which can be considered a medium at some shops) that allows you a big scoop of 2 flavors, and it came in at under $4! This was plenty of sweet icy cream for me, and likely for most adults who are trying not to overindulge. Best ice cream I've ever had at the shore! read more

The ice cream here is magnificent. You can taste the quality of the ingredients they use, it is definitely premium ice cream. They have a huge variety of flavors. Personally felt the brownie sundae was phenomenal. The pumpkin flavored ice cream got more delicious as you continued to eat. Service was pretty speedy. It's a small shop but very clean and well lit. AMAZING discovery today! I had their VEGAN Midnight Madness (I think that was the name of it) non-dairy ice cream made with pea protein, and it was undetectably non-dairy while being the tastiest and most decadent chocolate ice cream I've ever had! Definitely will be back for more of this ice cream; totally worth the drive from Staten Island! Came here because they had 6 SIX VEGAN ICE CREAM options. I was excited! Most places have 1-2 or claim sorbet is their only nondairy option. 4 stars because my boyfriend felt the cookies and cream wasn't as cookie as it it could be flavored. A suggestion would be to taste the cookie being mixed. I had the midnight crunch and it was exactly what I wanted heavy on the chocolate. The flavors on their website were not fully accurate. Was difficult to understand the flow of getting an employee to help. Over all clean, well lit place. The servings are decent so you are getting a good amount for what you pay. Lots of topping choices. Would definitely come again to get my ice cream fix as a person allergic to dairy who misses this aspect of treats. read more

Delicious ice cream and ice cream cakes! My family used to be loyal to carvel, but after having one at work we have made the switch! The manager Michael is so nice and helpful. Not only is this the best ice cream in Point Pleasant, but it's one of the best in NJ! Yes, it's even better than Hoffman's and Sundaes the Ice Cream Place. I've been to both many of times! Point Creamery is worth the drive just for the gourmet ice cream experience. Make sure you bring an ice box in the car because your going to want to buy a couple of pints to bring home after tasting how good it is! The girl behind the counter was so sweet, and she let me sample many flavors. My favorites were strawberry cheesecake, chocolate peanut butter swirl, and pumpkin sea salt crumb. I ended up buying a large with all three flavors, and I topped it with peanut butter. The ice cream here is delicious! Best ice cream I've ever had. Every flavor I've tried is fresh and full of flavor/mix-ins. Lovestruck, death by chocolate, and shamrock cookie (seasonal) are some of my favorites. The staff is always super sweet and enthusiastic, and the place itself is modern and clean. It is a little pricey, but well worth it. HIGHLY recommend! read more

On my way out of Pt. Beach, I saw this relatively new ice cream shop and ended up stopping. Its competition includes Hoffman's Ice Cream, which has a time-honored reputation, and also Sundae's, which is right across the street. Both places do not leave a lot of room for competing. The Point Creamery has a really hip, updated atmosphere. I like all the greys and the white subway tile. It could be featured on HGTV. When I got ready to order, I realized the cups were smaller. I ended up getting the "large," which is usually a medium pretty much anywhere else. They charged me $7.30 for the one cup with one topping. I could not believe how expensive that was. I almost considered giving it back but felt bad because they already scooped it for me. When I feel ripped off by a business, I lower my rating by one or even two stars. It's supposed to be homemade, and it does taste that way. However, I would just recommend buying a half gallon of your favorite ice cream from Shoprite instead when it's on sale for $2.50 instead. In summation: great atmosphere, decent ice cream, but not fabulous, and totally outrageous prices. So, it is hard for me to recommend the place. read more

So summer is approaching and ice cream will always be on everyone's menu. You have to add Point Creamery to your GPS. Friendly staff, extremely clean environment with an upbeat vibe. The ice cream was creamy and soft which is how I like ice cream. Samples are offered so you can be sure you select what you want to eat. Meh. I've experienced better. My boyfriend and I came here a few weeks ago to try this place for the first time and he was super disappointed in his ice cream (I believe he got vanilla soft serve with sprinkles). As for mine, I snagged some dairy-free ice cream and it actually lacked flavor and felt like I was just spooning cold nothingness into my mouth. I didn't even finish it, I watched it melt as I swirled my spoon into it. The place was busy and people were standing in long lines for it, so maybe once you find something you like it gets better? It was challenging to remove the apple from the wrapper and pieces of the cupcake wrapper got stuck to the apple. In my opinion, I feel the tart granny smith apple and candy coating doesn't blend well together especially since I prefer to have my fruit chilled.
