The BEST advanced ride I've ever been on! An absolutely unforgettable adventure! Riding a magnificently smooth Arabian horse through the awe-inspiring redwoods, guided by the incredible Susan, was nothing short of magical. The perfect blend of an exhilarating fast pace riding, stunning natural beauty, and amazing company--pure perfection! Can't wait to ride with Susan again.

The views are spectacular! It was worth the money spent for that part alone. We did feel as though we had old horses so that was the major downside of things. Staff was friendly. There were 3 riders in total along with our guide.

Covid has encouraged us more than ever to become "tourists in our backyard". That said, we were looking for something exciting and classy to make our weekend trip to Point Reyes all the more special. We are so, so happy we stopped at Point Reyes Arabian Adventures. It truly lives up to its ratings on Trip Advisor and Yelp. BACKGROUND: I should preface my review with a brief story: a few years ago, my husband and I did horseback riding at a different place in the area. Although it was my husband's first time horseback riding then, his adventurous spirit did not take a liking to the experience. That he was not super excited when I suggested we try out Point Reyes Arabian Adventures made the fact thanked me several times for booking the 1 hour ride with Susan all the more telling of our experience. Upon arrival, my husband noticed how clean the horses were and that we had to wear a helmet (these were clear differences from our experience at the previous ranch). We also appreciated how Susan did require we wear helmets, as it is better to be safe than sorry. STATS: The first 25 minutes of our one hour ride were spent practicing turns, trotting and how to sit on the horse. We went through obstacle courses. Susan paid close attention to each rider to make sure their techniques were correct. Throughout the ride, she also balanced conversation with the riders while sprinkling historical/ecological facts about the region we traversed (She also got some great pictures of us, so extra plus). At the summit, we were able to see about 1/3 of the Tomales Bay. The views were really beautiful, and we did not see them while hiking. According to my Garmin watch, we covered 2.61 miles (average pace 29:40 min/mile) and ascended 446 feet. MISCELLANEOUS: You can fill out the waiver ahead of time on the website. Susan was nice enough to pair us with matching horses (Indie and Rabbit), making our photos all the more "instagrammable". We highly recommend Point Reyes Arabian Adventures for a memorable, exciting, and lovely adventure. In fact, we would recommend this place to our friends in California as well as our family in Europe (when they visit).

During the past five years I have ridden all over the world: Transylvania, Morocco, Colombia, Mexico, Portugal and more, but no matter where I go, returning to west Marin and riding with Susan is a joy. Her well trained horses, comfortable tack, variety of interesting trails and the opportunity to trot and canter are unparalleled. While I am an experienced rider, I can also vouch for Susan's ability to teach beginners- the right way to ride from the outset!

Susan operates one of the best trail ride operations we have experienced. The horses are her priority and the care she tirelessly bestows on them is clearly evident. They are happy, healthy, well adjusted, beautiful horses. Susan is also one of the best riding instructors I've had the pleasure to meet. Your trail ride will not be a boring walk on a well worn trail. She will patiently teach you to connect with your horse; and build respect and confidence with the beautiful animal that has granted you the privilege to ride on its back. Please do be aware that some of the rides will require a drive out from the meeting location. Estimate an extra 30 minutes before you get into the saddle. We had such a wonderful experience and will be back! Thank you Susan for a wonderful day out.

Best trail ride I have been on - beautiful horses and Susan was a great guide, wonderful ride all around. Great for experienced riders looking for a faster paced trail ride adventure.

One of the best riding options in the Bay Area, not to be missed! I am an experienced rider and have ridden for years, I like to ride with Susan and her horses for both the Tamales Bay ride which goes up a nice hillside trail with a nice variation in terrain, and at the top there are amazing views of the bay and surrounding area. I also like to do the longer forest trail rides, and I always take my friends and visitors that want to try riding to Susan. Her horses are the absolute best "bomb proof" horses and I have ridden all over the world. Susan is a true horse whisperer and I trust her 100% with myself and the friends and family I have taken to ride with her. The area is stunning for beauty and Point Reyes is a wonderful little tiny town that is super fun to go have a drink or bite to eat after riding. There is also the oyster farms up the road and a Meadery across the road and Winery just up the road. All around going riding with Susan and then spending the day in Point Reyes is one of my number one top local things to do for a weekend. Come with a sense of adventure, be sure to wear your sunscreen, and you will have the best time ever! Susan is also really awesome with working with different levels so I can bring my friends that have never ridden but I too can also do a few canters and get to ride in a way that fits for my experience.

Susan the owner of the stable is a sweetheart. She is super knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable whether you have experience riding or not. Her horses are wonderful. We rode Cody, summer, and Bella. The views are wonderful and we learned some things about the area and horses. Close to point Reyes town and Olema Campground. Highly recommended

She has been such a great mentor to my daughter as many of the leadership lessons with horses are so very applicable for a young girl's life lessons. For a young girl to have the confidence to lead these horses - it's just so amazing to witness. Recently we decided to take a staycation at her lovely home and rented out a couple of rooms for us for the weekend. Karin was such an amazing hostess from the very beginning when we got there, to the lavish exit from her property, as she had both her dogs positioned on either side of the gate at the end of her driveway as a send off. We stayed in a beautiful room with incredible views of the Nicasio reservoir. This is a must stay place for any photographer, bird lover, horse lover. It felt like we were completely in a different country, when we were only a 20 minute drive to our home. Karin made us an amazing breakfast each morning, while overlooking the reservoir, watching pelicans, falcons, and yes...bald eagles flying overhead! How incredible! Her house has several rooms to rent, and she also has a treehouse, which my daughter stayed in with her friend. They had a blast. A great skylight above the bed to stargaze. One night we enjoyed dinner at her outdoor 'cantina'. During the day, dipping our toes in the beautiful pool. The kids enjoyed chasing the little lizards that basked in the sun. We brought our dog who had probably the most fun of us all. Finally, a place where a dog can actually be a dog! Did I mention Karin is a fabulous dog trainer as well? Thank you so much for such a fabulous weekend that we will cherish always, Karin!

She makes the worlds fluffiest omelettes for breakfast and incredibly authentic Danish dinners as well. It was so much more than a vacation for us, we will remember the things we learned here for a lifetime.

It was the get away I was looking for. There are a lot of trails, and while we didn't spend a ton of time right along the ocean, the hillside views were still really nice. We had a great guide. The setup is cute, and I loved that they let you interact with the horses beforehand -- they seem to take good care of them while still making it enjoyable for guests. On our ride, we were paired with a couple who has been taking lessons there and they had nothing but great things to say, which was really reassuring. Only downsides: the website is pretty confusing and pricing for certain things wasn't very clear. It is a bit pricey, though. That said, I'd definitely go back -- and if I lived closer, I'd even consider lessons. But it is just too far for me to make the commitment.

We can't wait to get back the pictures he took with his disposable camera! What I love best, besides hearing the stories about him getting up early to care for the horses that he once found intimidating, was the call we received from Dawn mid-week. We weren't worried. We've had great experiences at Cloverleaf. We know the ratios of campers to counselors allows for attentive care. Still, the mid-week phone call telling us how his week was going just reinforced how much the staff really cares. For this reason, Cloverleaf will continue to be a Cremidis family tradition for many years to come.
