(Thanks to good girlfriends for pushing me outside my comfort zone to try it on!). I love all of the fitness sets they display! And all of the incredibly soft, cozy loungewear! They also sell a some jewelry, sunglasses, bags, hats, and more. The store is so bright and light and clean and inviting! Love the white, blue, and mirrored decor...and the spacious fitting rooms!

Yes, I've been to Zoe Bikini, and I've attempted to find bathing suits at a number of stores here in SF. For the most part, the cuts are super dated, the colors are boring, and there's nothing that will make your bum look like a million bucks. In fact, I'm still holding on to the bikinis that I bought when I was in Brazil 5+ years ago! Now, as I found myself heading to Cuba, I found I got a little extra junk in the trunk. Time for an update! I googled Bikini stores in SF, and thank goodness Touch of Brasil came up. WHAT A GEM! I called the store and left a message, and the owner called me right back. She told me that she would wait for me after I got off work. Sure enough, she was there...and I was the only customer :) It's a tiny little store off Geary and Masonic, filled with Brazilian bikinis, bathings suits, cover-ups, shorts - anything you need for the beach. I would say that the styles are very Brazilian - meaning, if you'e looking for really trendy bathings suits with zippers and crazy cut-outs that beauty bloggers and instagramers are wearing now-a-days, I'm not sure this is the place. But if you're looking for a flattering bathing suit, bikini, Brazilian style (and some are not), with simple cuts that will work for most body types, then this is the place. They even have accessories and I thought I saw flip flops too. In terms of pricing, I'd say that full sets (top + bottom) will run you between $80 and $120. Some more, some less. But the nice thing is that she's willing to separate top and bottom, so if you find a top you like that you want to buy on it's own, or pair with something else, you can! HALLELUJAH!! So if you don't already own a fabulous Brazilian bikini, it's time to start showing off that tush!!!

I had my husband get his first and when he came out...oh my gosh...he looked so cute and handsome. Who know a tan would make him look so adorable. He never showed his arms as he is always afraid to burn.... Then it was my turn. It was my 65 Birthday and Von suggested that I could wear pasties or get completely naked. I have never been completely naked in front of anyone, except maybe the doctor. I have lost 170 LBS and have never felt comfortable with my body, but I did it. Von made me feel so comfortable and at ease. When I was done....I felt amazing!! I spent my birthday with my children and I felt comfortable and so beautiful. My husband and I went to Belize the next day and Von said we could keep our tan up with some gradual tan lotion. The island we went to did not have any cars and we rode bicycles everywhere. I felt so confident wearing a bathing suit with a wrap and riding my beach cruiser everywhere, since I had tanned legs. I just got back and 14 days later since my tan...I still feel the results. I have not felt so free and easy about showing my bare naked legs for over 30 years, since I spent my days at the beach everyday in Southern California. This is the best $$ I have ever spent....Lasting results and I can't wait to go back to Von and have her do her magic again!! Thank you Von....best experience! I went across the street to the bakery after my tanning session and I have to tell you that I was so elated about the experience I told everyone in line that I got in my Birthday Suit and got an all over tan across the street for my 65th Birthday. While this tan looks very natural and is streak free, there is hardly any color at all. I am extremely dissapointed. I followed all the correct steps and as a girl who is naturally very pale, I had high hopes. I had to fake tan over it because of how light it was. Biggest waste of money.

I slunk around the shop hunched over from a "bad bra" and was asked by Shawnie if there was anything I needed. I asked her if she carried my size and she asked, "Have you been measured lately?". I actually had not been. I stepped into a dressing room that had pink billowing curtains almost floor to ceiling, and Shawnie measured me. It was a very successful trip in. Not only did she find my size but she made me feel empowered and very confident. Shoulders back, stand tall, face forward and my girls in a brand new GORGEOUS bra. Ladies, do not have sticker shock if you have been buying bras at Kohls or Macy's. These are beautiful bras. They are fitted by a professional. The only hiccup is, not the shop's fault. They close at 5:30. Parts of Yountville fold up a tiny bit early.
