I just took a cab from the Metro-North station to my home, and thankfully it was only a…read moreseven-minute ride because it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a driver. The driver, an older white man, was extremely rude, entitled, and unkind. I did not feel comfortable during the entire ride. He scolded me for not having cash to pay, and I told him, "I understand that people can have stressful days, but you could at least be kind to others, especially when you are providing a service." In response, he became even more humiliating and drove away speaking in French. What makes this even worse is that when I called the company at (914) 723-0016 to report the incident, the person who answered dismissed my concerns and said, "He's just an old nasty grumpy man. What do you want me to do? There's nothing to feel unsafe about." That response is completely unacceptable. Customers are paying for a service and deserve to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. Being old does not make it acceptable to be rude, hostile, or verbally abusive, and the company should not excuse or normalize that behavior instead of addressing it.

After making two separate efforts to clarify why Precision's price quote was so high and why the Lowest Price Guarantee wasn't being honored, I went with another company. And, I'm really happy that I did. The company that earned my business, was not only comparable, but, in my opinion even superior. Muhammad's response appears to indicate that the companies that gave me price quotes were somehow inferior. Precision has been in business 18 years, and the company I went with has been in business longer. Precision's price quote was much higher than the competition and was for a Cadillac or Volvo sedan, not the beautiful new black SUV that picked up my girlfriend. Lastly, the professional chauffer that was our driver, was impeccably dressed in a black suit and tie. Our driver had over 30 years experience as a licensed, professional chauffer. This gentleman even showed up 25 minutes early! What an incredible experience! Muhammad, I truly appreciate your response and your generous offer. The purpose of this updated review was to clarify that the company that we went with, was not inferior in any way. For some reason, you referenced Uber or a taxi service in your response. I hired a superior, licensed, insured and incredibly professional competitor. Price was certainly not the only deciding factor. He didn't drive like a maniac, the conversation flowed naturally, and he seemed to genuinely enjoy his job as well. To top it off, they are prompt and their rates are very fair and competitive - $26 from HPN to White Plains, and that includes a tip (I tipped him extra anyway).
