Simple place to go in and shoot for a good price if your military. I have been here consistently and there is definitely a prejudice there from the two older gents. So only your money matters if you're a brother. I'm always polite and very respectful to anyone especially my elders. I've never gotten a good morning, welcome in, and Never gotten a "you are welcome". They literally just stare at me. The three stars are specifically for the range and price. Outside of that, the older gentlemen do not necessarily care to share their space with a brother. I've been around a long time to know where my kind isn't welcome. or maybe it's just me Not being welcome. Either way. I'm sorry they each feel the need to be that way. I've definitely bragged about this range for the longest. I've been here for years. Either way my time here in the valley is coming to an end. If you're a brother, form your own opinion. Today, December 29, 2021, was my third visit to the Point Blank Archery and the visit where I was going to purchase a bow. On my first visit the customer service was excellent and energetic, they answered my questions and I had picked out a bow that I was very interested in. We discussed the price and the fact that it was discounted because it was a couple of years old, old inventory essentially. My second visit I was intending on shooting the bow and purchasing it, if after shooting it, it felt comfortable. The staff this visit were not as helpful and the store was a little busier. Excited about the bow I waited for 30 minutes, I told this was the wait time. It became abundantly clear to me after waiting though, I was going to be waiting much longer. I spoke with the gentleman about the wait and he convinced me to come back in the morning so I did. I arrived at point blank about 10 am with a friend who was interested in a back up bow as well. I shot my bow and with the help of the bow technician, I was shooting it comfortably. My friend proceeded to shoot a bow as well and was legitimately interested as the same discount should have been applied to the bow he was eyeballing. We gathered our bows and made it to the register where the prices we were met with were higher than expected. Even the clerk apologized and said the can't honor the quoted prices but acknowledged they were instructed to sell them at said prices. Needless to say I feel like the staff pulled the old bait and switch on us. We did not buy the bows and will look elsewhere for a good deal. read more

These people are so great!! Took an archery lesson a few months ago, and they helped me purchase a bow for my sister. They're quick, knowledgeable and have great features with the purchase of a bow. The lesson was so much fun, and felt like the staff really loved the sport and understood how to teach others. They've been great with my sister since our bow purchase and have helped her with her accessories. I'll probably get myself a bow soon!! read more

Employees had their masks below their noses and told me to get out because I wasn't wearing one. I told them I had COVID a month ago and could not give it to them. They still refused to serve me for not wearing a mask while they wore theirs below their noses which obviously does nothing. Additionally they had a poor selection of firearms and related material. Very disappointed that a store that makes its money off our constitution simultaneously tramples on an individuals right to choose while not even correctly wearing the PPE they demand their customers do. read more

I came in earlier today with a friend for an archery lesson. I'd always wanted to try it and finally had someone willing to do it with me, so I was pretty excited. Mark was our teacher, and he was great! He guided us through it, step by step, and gave us really good tips from time to time. Towards the end of the session, my accuracy was getting pretty good. I even got a couple in the bull's eye! Yay! Overall, I had a ton of fun and learned a lot. I can totally see myself doing this regularly, when time allows, at some point in the future. read more

Whether you shoot a gun or a bow, you've got to stop by this place. The facility is great, and the prices are competitive, but it's the staff that adds that 5th star to any rating. Any business is only as good as the service that you're provided, and this place has the best staff i've seen. My wife and i live in an RV and we travel all over the country so that's saying a lot for me. From the managers to the sales guys to the gun and bowsmith's, all are great. The worst range I have ever been in. The shooting range is filthy and the staff was too busy on his phone to help me. He just pointed in the general direction of the item I asked for, never looking up from his phone. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the price was reasonable on the item I purchased. If you like getting talked down to and your intelligence insulted, then this may be the place for you. An attendant who seemed to not be in the mood to talk reluctantly showed me a rifle and I asked a couple of questions about gas system length, barrel profile, etc. The man made it a point to say he was an armorer for that rifle company, but could not explain to me what kind of barrel and bolt carrier group the rifle had(I knew but wanted insight about the reliability of the components) I would have payed no mind to this, but being as he took it as an opportunity to try to talk to me like I was buying my first rifle, or firearm ever, I felt the need to talk about why this store should fix their customer service, and attitude towards people. The firearms community is already taking flak for the decisions of bad apples, gun owners are being villanized, and someone who encounters people who may be on the fence wether or not to even own a firearm, Should have a better attitude. read more

PointBlank will never get my business ever again. My first visit to PointBlank on their opening week was very positive, no complaints. On my second visit with my girlfriend we received horrible customer service from the employee behind the counter. He demanded that we show our ID's and firearms to him; he informed me that I could not shoot my girlfriend's Glock 19 (despite me bringing two AR's) because I was under 21 at the time (I was 20). Despite his rudeness we tried to make the best of our range time. The third and last time I will ever go in PointBlank was a few weeks before my 21st birthday. My brother (24 years old) girlfriend (21) cousin (19) and I wanted to try out a few new guns we just purchased. We got to the counter and attempted to pay however the woman behind the counter informed my cousin and I that we could not use the range unless we had parental supervision!! No other gun range has ever denied me of access to their range because of my my age or given such poor customer service. Now that I'm 21, I am happy to drive out of my way to other ranges just to avoid PointBlank. PointBlank you lost a customer forever. read more
