    Beach view from bedroom porch

Am just now returning from a having spent a week at the Pointe Estero Resort. This was a mix of business and pleasure and I was fortunate enough to bring my family down to relax and enjoy. Reasonably priced, ideally located and the staff made us feel at home immediately upon arrival. I honestly had a hard time pulling myself away of this little slice of paradise to get my work done (I did but with remorse). Am looking forward to my return next year, although we are planning on staying at least a few more days as our week ended too quickly.

We rented a 2 bedroom condo that sleeps 6 for the weekend for my sons 2nd Birthday. This place was very nice. Not modern but great for a beach place. Nice kitchen stocked with EVERYTHING, I could have baked a cake and made a 5 course meal. Huge hot tub in the master bath as well. Even has a washer and a dryer in room. The pool area is very nice and the pool is salted instead of Chlorine and has 2 shallow ends which is nice for kids. This is NOT a party spot but a great family place with great views and great ammenities. Also during the off season it is CHEAP. we paid $139 a night!!

The beach and service were great. Nice views, and clean beach and sand. However, the actual room was disgusting. As soon as we arrived, it seemed as if they had barely cleaned the room from the last couple stays. Dead insects everywhere, dust film on the counters, and sand still on the floor from someone else's beach visit? We had to clean it upside down ourselves just so it was inhabitable. Wouldn't stay here again

    Sunset from our suite

We recently got engaged here while staying in an oceanfront one bedroom suite. The room was beautiful with an excellent view of the sunset. I could not get over the size of the bathtub, which was like a small swimming pool with jets. Super romantic! I could not have asked for more on our special night away.

We came down from our unit at Pointe Estero to admire this gorgeous sunset.

I've stayed at Pointe Estero twice this summer: once with my boyfriend's family and once with my my family. I love this resort for two main reasons: the cleanliness of the units and the friendliness of the staff. I prefer the beach front view unit we stayed at recently compared to the gulf view we were given when we stayed with my boyfriend's family. My only issue with this resort is confusion when booking a room. My boyfriend's family had booked a beachfront view as well, but were given a gulf view instead. Even after we spoke to management, we could be given the room they originally booked. On the upside, the gulf view room on the 16th floor has a cozy alcove perfect for beach reading that connects to a rooftop balcony with two beach chairs, ideal for tanning and drinking your morning coffee. All room issues aside, I would stay at this resort again.

The managers were so attentive and every time we passed by checked in on us to see what activities we had done or suggest new activities for us to do. We loved the kayaking and paddle boards - also rented jet skis 2 separate days. Getting day passes for additional guests was super easy. Love the ease of the bracelets doing everything, being the key, room charge, proof we belong - super easy for everyone to keep track Of! The complimentary breakfast was "ok" nothing spectacular, but still decent. The guy who collected the towels by the pool (seemed like a manager/lead) was rude every single day - to the point we waited to take our towels back a few times to avoid another interaction. We will definitely be back!

The entire area was clean, right on the beach, and the staff was friendly everywhere we went. The resort offers a ton of amenities: free kayaks, bikes, paddleboards, lounge chairs, and umbrellas. They also have paid options like fishing charters and other nearby excursions. There are three pools total -- two family pools and one adults‑only pool -- plus a couple of hot tubs. Our room was amazing. We were on the first floor with a perfect view of the beach. The adults‑only pool was right in front of our balcony, so we could relax, listen to the music, or join the trivia games happening throughout the day. The room itself was spacious and included a kitchenette with a stove, which made it easy to cook if we wanted to. You can stay busy here or do absolutely nothing -- we chose the "chill" route. There are two restaurants and a bar on the property, but if you want more options, you can walk about 15-30 minutes (rough estimate) or drive 2 mins (fyi paid parking) to the main strip with plenty of shops and restaurants. The front desk also told us about a trolley that runs for $0.75 each way or $2.00 for an all‑day pass. Everything was close by, we didn't get in our car until it was time to head home. We'll definitely be coming back. It's a little on the pricier side, but with everything included -- and probably more that I'm forgetting -- it's absolutely worth it.

In addition, our room was incredible with three balconies and two amazing views. The gym was also nice; all the machines were clean and working, plus it was well equipped. For such a fancy hotel, I was quite surprised there was nowhere to find water. I expected a fruity water station somewhere near the entry, a standard in high-end hotels today. I was also surprised the concierge could not provide a running map. Even with the local construction, the path right out the front door is nice and separated from traffic. I found the run to Target (for a cool coffee drink) was perfect for a 5-miler. Surely the 10-mile option would include even more treats. Having the front doors opened every time anyone approached the front of the hotel was a nice touch.

He got us and our friends off to our rooms quickly and as we saw him around the grounds the rest of the week was always cheerful and a joy to chat with. We got a Cabana for two days, and Melissa was our assigned waitress on day one. Simply stellar. She kept checking up on us, provided great advice on what to do, and our group of 14 couldn't have had a better time. Scott helped us out on day two when our assigned waiter for the cabana (who I won't name) was a little too much on the younger side to be able to be as attentive and simply had a hard time making the connection that Melissa and Scott did. Melissa and Scott had water shoes, and were not afraid of coming right up to us when we were on the edge of the pool, as it was no deal to get their shoes wet. We WILL be back; we WILL ask for Melissa and Scott. Otherwise, in the resort, it was extremely clean and the atmosphere was spot-on. The coffee shop next to the pedestrian bridge to the pool from the main hotel helped with the bender hangovers, and the staff there were very nice. The lobby on the second floor was nice, as the parking and utilities for the hotel are on the hurricane-flood-prone ground floor. There was night entertainment out on the promenade, and I was grateful that we had a room on the outside of the hotel not overlooking the promenade, but I noticed by 1030pm, the loud music was gone. Good balance between partying and letting us drunks sleep. Great party hotel. Great DJ earlier in the day. The couple who sang and played music in the DJ Cabana also were great. The later-in-the-day DJ was less impressive; he hesitated to play some of the songs we requested. The location was central to many dining and entertainment options. The shop in the lobby had some essentials we forgot as well. If there is any critique; continue to focus on making sure the younger wait staff have no problems with old-fashioned effective communication and making time to check back in plenty of times throughout the day, especially if the cost of the drinks is as high as it is. I have no problem paying for it if the wait staff are as attentive as Melissa and Scott.

It was noticeably quieter, the pool felt cleaner, and there was much less hustle and bustle. The room itself was comfortable and met my expectations. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were just right, and the view was enjoyable. One word of caution: the shower can get pretty slippery, so be careful. The resort offers a complimentary welcome drink, but I wouldn't really call it complimentary since there's a mandatory $35 daily resort fee that covers various amenities, many of which you may not even use. I also don't drink alcohol, so it wasn't much of a perk for me. I did take advantage of the 24-hour fitness center and was pleasantly surprised. There was a good variety of equipment, the treadmills worked well, and they provided complimentary towels, water, and even apples. My only criticism is that the gym could use a more thorough cleaning. One thing to know before booking is that this resort doesn't have a beach. That wasn't a dealbreaker for me because the pool was very nice. My mother and I drove to Sanibel Beach, which was only about 10-15 minutes away. However, parking was difficult to find, it costs $5 per hour, and the mosquitoes were relentless. Unless you're set on visiting the island, I'd recommend relaxing at the resort instead. The elevators worked well, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional. Overall, there wasn't anything particularly spectacular about this resort, but it provided a relaxing and enjoyable Fourth of July getaway for my family. I would recommend it to others. Personally, I probably wouldn't stay here again, although I wouldn't hesitate if it were my only option.

We struck up a conversation, and she thanked me for my patience while waiting in line. Since I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member, I asked if there happened to be any upgrades available. She smiled and said she had found one for me. I thanked her, headed upstairs, and opened the doors to what I can only describe as the most incredible hotel suite I have ever seen. I knew something was different the moment I saw the double entry doors. Inside was an immaculate, magnificent suite featuring a spacious living room, a luxurious master bedroom, a second bedroom, spacious living room and **three bathrooms**, with breathtaking views overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the beach, and the pool from multiple balconies. The master bathroom alone was larger than many standard hotel rooms and even featured its own Toto toilet.
